Halifax Airport. For Element!

The sun was high, skimming across the blue yonder, highlighting the eerie beauty of the land below. Somewhere down there was a pale creature, crouched in the grass, revealing nothing. Her face was like transparent snow, and fur the color of molten ice. Her eyes were a deep crimson, and bodice a tender, fragile shape, so small that she could be easily mistaken for a fox. The Arctic Wolf crept through the earth, grass brushing her tiny face. Velvet nose twitched in anticipation, and as the youth drew herself up to full height those red, red eyes narrowed and rolled around slowly, so she could drink in her unfamiliar surroundings. It was almost frightening. The tall grey buildings loomed over her shaking figure, and she gasped slightly as she took it all in. Slowly, she crept back, further into the grass.
She was not ready to visit this scary place. This vile city. Not yet.

And so she bounced away, and in one bound she had pivoted on her back feet, and was running away, faster, faster, faster. The she-wolf glanced nervously around, before realizing she had made a mistake. Belle thought she was running in the direction of a field, but in fact, the canis had drawn towards a man-made field, with grass that smelt slightly metallic and earth that was just that little bit surreal. A startled yelp erupted from the girls mouth, and she crouched, belly skimming across the grass as she made her way across. Hurriedly waddling to victory; the adolescent did not notice the large, grey object until her face squashed into it upon impact. Stopping in her tracks, the curious teen took a step back, looking the 'thing' over. It looked like a huge, white bird that had fallen from the sky, its wings still outstretched and frozen in place- one final attempt to reach freedom. Casually, the woman took the ascend, loping up the steps that led to the inner of the metal bird. The door was wide open, and as the Canis Lupus Arctos jumped inside, she knew at once that this was not the innards of a bird, but a plane.

She had read about them in books. She had learnt to read in the extra time she had in her childhood- when her father went out. She often would spend hours thinking about the pictures. This was a plane, and she knew it for sure. Plunking herself down into a sitting position, the girl sat and watched in amusement. Not a second would go by when she would not be dumbstruck.

Sorry for the delay!

Element had seen the plane from a distance. It was different than the buildings he was used to - different from the areas he'd been in, different from the library. Its structure was different. He had tried to find books about the strange structure back in the library, but they were about how it was built, how it ran. It was far over Element's head, who couldn't make head or tails of the diagrams and words the human authors had been spouting. Instead, he had decided to examine it close up, and had come here.

Then, he realized that there was an entrance. He had peeked inside from the ground to see if there was anything threatening in there - there wasn't, and quite soon, his powerful feline curiosity pulled him in and led him up the stairs.

So he was simply sitting, staring, when the wolf came crashing in from behind. Element jumped a great number of feet into the air before whirling around midair and landing on the floor of the airplane. He let out a sigh - it wasn't some sort of monster, just a female wolf. He studied her closely. She was smaller than most of the wolves around Souls, but not nearly as small as Element himself. Her coat was a beautiful white color, and her eyes were red but kind. Element quickly recomposed himself. "Hello," he said. "Sorry about the sudden movement - you startled me."

WC- 635. Sorry for my delay also Smile Beware- Belle is acting very crazy at this point in time! Big GrinDDD

It startled her. The sudden outburst from something in front of the femme. At first she had thought it just a soft toy- for she thought she had known that there were hardly any cats left anymore- but the feline using the exact same posture as her suddenly squirmed upwards in shock, a blurry motion of flying limbs and surprised features.
He turned to face her, and at once she saw unbelievable intelligence behind those vivid, emerald orbs. His pelt was like onyx satin, layered around him, defining a beautiful fur coat. She did not frown at the cat- she did not carry the instinct of most. She had learned not to hate, or dislike others for their race- she made her decision upon personality.

So, it was not a surprise when he spoke, calmly, in the direction of herself. Belle nodded slightly, holding his gaze with her own.
"It is me who should be apologizing. I should not have startled you like that.... Do you know much about this plane?"
Her curiosity might have got the better of her, but the eagerness in her features never denied her willing to learn. Her expression was serious, yet content… until her brows rose in suspicion- what was a cat doing here anyway? Brushing away that thought, she hopped around him, springing in the air and somersaulting, before colliding with the ground once more. Dashing over to a door marked private, the girl pounced through the entrance like a hasty rabbit, for fortunately the door was not locked. Her flexibility did not desert her, and Belle spun and skidded up a ramp, before twisting herself and coiling, ready to jump.

The drastic adolescent was like a free-runner, and she would overcome any obstacle with ease. Her tensing position climaxed with a hurtling spring, and she landed delicately on a large chair. Series of panels and switches lay in front of her- an endless toy-room of buttons and fun.

“Wow! this must be the pilots room! These are the controls!”
Like a pup again, she began nosing around with the different bits and pieces, flicking the switches and pressing all the buttons with her claws.

“Neeeeoooooowww!!! Get ready for taaakkeee off! Were going on a bumpy riiiiidddee! ”
The over-enthusiastic woman let childhood take over once more, and she played with the controls eagerly, every now and again turning to grin widely at the cat. As her fun began to diminish, Belle jumped off the chair and scampered towards the green-eyed creature once more.

“Isn’t this fun?!?! I’m Belle, by the way. ”
Still grinning wolfishly, her boisterous personality led her to realize there was an interesting-looking-something hidden away in one of the many seats on the plane. It was only a small plane, but there were at least twenty seats, all lined up down one aisle. She began to bound energetically, eyes set on the shiny object.

It must have been strange. Strange to see a woman of such random personality to move so elegantly, yet Belle had practiced moving all her life. She lived to move- to run, to feel… free. Running was her favourite thing in the world.

So… The female continued loping, and eventually she found her target. A pale, white, sticky-looking object lay in a slumped position on one of the seats. It was grimy- covered in years of dust and goo. It was a human skeleton… Yet Belle did not know this. Jumping up onto the arm-rest, the Arctic fey swiped at the skull of the pile of bones, and it fell off, rolling down the aisle and crashing to a standstill by the wall.

“That feels extremely disgusting. I wonder what it is? ”
She turned and grinned foolishly at the black feline, ivory teeth flashing and features contorted in enthusiasm.

I am sosososo sorry for the delay!

"It is me who should be apologizing. I should not have startled you like that.... Do you know much about this plane?" Element was about to answer that no, he did not know about this place at all, and that it was, in fact, his first time here. He looked about the 'room' in curiosity - there were many seats, four in a row, all lined down the inside of the enormous metallic bird. He assumed that was where the humans sat and - did what? Was it for sleeping? Before he could wonder any more, he felt a rush of air past him and noted that the girl had leaped over him and somersaulted in the air, landing in a perfect, cat-like landing before running past Element yet again and entering a door marked 'Private'.

That couldn't be good.

Element peered into the door and saw something the cat had never seen before. There were several buttons on a large, flat surface just in front of a huge window that encompassed the front of the plane. Two seats were in front of these buttons, and he assumed that they were for two other humans to sit and perhaps control the plane. It wasn't the seats nor the window that struck Element in this way, however - it was the buttons.

They looked so complicated, so complex - only someone much more advanced than Element could even begin to understand their meaning. But the girl was pushing them and pressing them as if she had passed flying school with flying colors, and seemed to be having great fun in doing so, as well. Element flattened his ears - what if the plane did something? What if it lifted off? But the rusty old bird was done flying, and the girl's button-pushing antics did little more than make clicking sounds while she uttered in excitement.

“Wow! this must be the pilots room! These are the controls! Neeeeoooooowww!!! Get ready for taaakkeee off! Were going on a bumpy riiiiidddee! ” Element barely suppressed a chuckle as the girl pushed more buttons, clearly enjoying herself.

She then leapt up, racing out of the pilot's room and into where Element's body was. He withdrew his head from the crack in the door and looked at the wolf-girl. “Isn’t this fun?!?! I’m Belle, by the way. ” Element smiled and dipped his head. "Element," he said simply. And before he knew it, Belle was running down the plane again, apparently having seen something that piqued her interest.

What a strange, intriguing wolf. Element had never seen someone like this before. She was an adult, or nearing adulthood, but she still had the curiosity, endearing nature, and excitement of a young pup first experiencing the walks of life. It intrigued him, and he thought that he liked Belle rather much.

Element slowly padded to where she was, and in hearing her question, cautiously sniffed the object. He knew what it was. The library had many books on human anatomy, and he loved reading about humans and their strange things - he was lost in many of the medical terms, barely understanding any of the book, but he did see pictures of humans and their skeletons.

"I believe it's a human skeleton," he said. The old thing was covered in dust and grime, and Element wondered what had to have happened for it to have such a fate. There were no other skeletons here - why was this one here? His mind burned with questions.
