He's in that humanoid form, btw. Big Grin

IC
It was the first time since his joining that he had ventured out of the packlands, had traveled south into a place that was very foreign and alien to him but at the same time familiar. Eerily similar to the towns and cities he had seen in Europe, with Dmitri, but at the same time looking very heavily related to the untamed and uncivilized wilderness. Even more wild than his home, than the Old Country, for he probably couldn't even live in one of those old, rundown buildings. This place was built on sadness, it almost seemed.

Sasha knew nothing of people. He knew nothing of history, or the way the world used to be before his kind, the Luperci, made their first appearance. If the world was even different before, if things had not always been the way they were on that day, he would have never guessed if anyone did not tell him. But there would be no one to tell him, at least not there, at least not on that day, because the only living things around that he could see were no longer living, and he couldn't even see them anyway.

But, he knew what this was, even if he'd never seen anything like it. And it was with heavy, tired eyes and a solemn expression that he stared down at the stone used to represent what was once a man.

I'm sorry for the long wait; this week has been nothing but studying, tests, and volunteering for my club! Yarrrg. Ember is in her lupus form at the moment :3

She had left them here...but they were gone. She had kicked through the ashes of the fire, searching, but hadn't seen anything. What could have happened to them? The female frowned deeply as she walked, thinking. Had someone taken them? She had wanted them to burn, to join their demon of a father in the depths of the fiery Hell that he would surely go to in his afterlife...but what if they were alive?

Ember shook her head. This couldn't be true; perhaps some animal had taken them off and eaten them. It was very rare that wolves came across each other in these lands, these neutral territories...and thus very rare that anyone would have found the pups that she had attempted to burn up in the fire she had started.

The dark wolf stood in four legs rather than two, going back to the basics with her old mind-set. She didn't want to be a warrior in the tribe any more, not after this. She hadn't been able to do it during the pregnancy and was long out of practice...and it just seemed like too much work now that she'd had them. She didn't have any interest in protecting the tribe or watching the borders any longer anyway.

Ember had left the remainders of the fire that morning and now padded through the city streets, green eyes looking this way and that. Her nose was constantly filtering through scents and she soon caught the smell of someone nearby. She ignored it and continued to wander, entering and exiting several shops. The smell was getting stronger, hmm. She looked around, certain that the other canine would be within sights by now, but didn't see anyone just yet.
