High morning, a waning-winter bright day with the sun illuminating the birch-silvered trunks of the small, spring-eager trees where Legacy roamed. She and the boy, Ari, had wandered around together earlier this month looking for paints and that had left her vaguely interested in drawing - though she knew she didn't have the same dedication, and it was frustrating when the marks she made didn't come out the way she wanted. Still, the charcoal and charred sticks that she liked to write with had turned into quite a collection, building up more and more as she had little material to use them on. The black of the medium made her want to draw people like Valentine and her sister Amaury, who were midnight-black, and Kieran, who was mostly the same. Her father had been dark, too. She had so little of him in her - she was a purely Kali throwback; and the only way she'd figured out what he looked like was that Amaury was said to resemble him - at least in coat colour. She had nothing of her father, and because it had always been so, she didn't mind.

She noticed a weaker tree than the rest and finding a loose edge, unabashedly tore off a voluminous strip of papery bark from a birch tree with her teeth, rolling it up as it came off. She could use it to practice writing; a fine line was possible with this particular kind of bark. Maybe she could write a letter to someone with it. She just had to think of who - and what to say. Lost in consideration, the girl wended her way through the silvery forest, eyeing more trees for potential material. Life was peaceful at the moment, and she was enjoying it, taking the time to stretch her ever-growing limits and skills - even if it was possible she had to sacrifice a little awareness in order to be oblivious of certain currents of concern or change in the rest of the pack.

Remedy had set off to explore Jaded Shadows, remembering stuff as she simply walked by it. She had remembered a few days with Endymion, out and about and then getting a tree branch stuck in her leg. Although, she couldn't remember the pain she was in then, however she did remember that she limped for a few weeks. Quiet, she just walked on four paws and smiling ever so happy at all the memories. That's how it was now, just looking around and remembering, she needed to make new memories that involved other exciting things.

Noticing another move around her, she looked and spotted a puppy that looked oddly like Fatin in so many ways.
"Hello there." she said so softly, not wanting to scare the other female away, "You're one of Fatin's little ones, are you not?" Remedy noticed that she was holding bark, not understanding why. The most Remedy and Endymion would do as pups is draw in the sand with sticks, but she had never did anything else artistic. That also brought Remedy back to old times with her sister and mother, although her mother was nothing but an old memory.
