Explorations

OOC:: short D:
Shortly after being accepted into the pack, Valinta, now dubbed a Promotore di Corpo by her pack, was exploring the territory. Scoping it out, as you like. Looking around, she stumbled onto a large building made out of logs. Sitting up, she immediately decided to explore it.
Focusing on her Optime form, she felt her legs stretching and lengthening, as her elbows shifted down, her forelegs shifting to become arms. Her front toes lengthened and became accurate, grasping fingers, as her tail shortened slightly. Just resisting the urge to howl, Valinta lifted her head and panted as she stood up.
Walking towards the lodge, or whatever it was, Valinta wrestled with the overgrown vines to open the door, and entered. At first, the pelts and animal heads on the wall scared her, and she let out a yelp. Then, getting used to them, she looked around and found a large, pretty knife. She put it down, and then knelt next to a bearskin on the floor. Lifting it up, she draped it over her body and giggled slightly. It would be interesting to use this for stories or as a costume for a dance or.... Or something. She'd have to talk to Skye about it, or ask the capitano when she met him.

She was aware that there was a new line drawn southwest for the cursed Dahlia de Mai pack. The optime woman moved on regardless despite it being out of character for her to intrude on something that possibly was a pack territory. Another wolf pack. The thought did not settle well with her, and so a discontented scowl stripped her face for some of its natural beauty. Perhaps she would get to use her sword today, perhaps not. While she believed herself their superior already, she knew that she wasn’t invincible. She was not certain if she actually was looking for trouble either; the border just happened to cross her dedicated path and she was quick to disrespect others for she had never received any respect from them in the past.

Eventually she spotted the old cabin and moments after she realized that she probably was about to stumble upon the first member of this stupid group. Great.. She believed she heard sounds from within the building’s innards, and she stepped over to the open entrance, glaring into the darker room with ruby eyes narrowed with wariness. It was not often that she approached the larger canines—Inferni was her home and it was actually rare for her to venture far from their skull lined borders. The supporting weight of the sharp katana resting against her back in its sheath comforted her though, and so her voice was confident as she made her presence known. "Hello?"

ooc;// Hope y'all don't mind Bao stomping in. :'D

The boy had taken the chance and started to explore the lands of Hufflepuff and it also gave him the time to shake off his stress by, none other than, smoking. The cigarette hung dangerously close to falling out of his mouth as he took his time staring up at the sky and then gently grabbed it before giving it the chance to spring. He exhaled smoke flooding out of his mouth in an intoxicating stream.

Placing the cigarette back between his jowls he raised his paw to the sky gazing at the bright red ribbons wrapped around his wrists. The scars were very old, but every so often they would start to hurt him and when they did he would wrap them in ribbon, he oddly found the feel of ribbon on his wrists felt rather soft and soothing compared to a rough bandage.

He dropped his paw to his side and exhaled another toxic breath before starting to walk. Aside from getting to know his new home and chasing away his stress he decided to make sure everything was alright. After all he had told Shawchert he could guard and he would keep to what he said.

Bao had been walking for a while now and everything seemed okay, well he assumed everything was okay since he still wasn't acquainted with what could threaten his new family. But so far nothing seemed to pose a threat and that was good. He continued walking stopping here and there to release the smoke the filled his mouth and the next time he stopped he spotted the lodge.

Now, he wasn't stupid he knew what a house was, but he wasn't really sure if this place was lived in anymore. It seemed rather... Dark. Movement caught his eye and he focused his gaze on the door seeing a figure pass through it, really? He wasn't sure whether it was another wizard, or a trespasser. The latter made his fur prickle and he made sure his pocket knife was on him before heading over closer to the lodge, as always though he didn't make the slightest of noise as he approached.

OOC here: Of course I don't mind. But the now bear-type lady prolly will. When she sees the sword. And yay! Another CdA membar! Big Grin Vee is so mean D:

Who are you?

Someone entered the lodge, and didn't smell of her pack, or even wolf. Coyote. turning quickly and grabbing hold of the knife, Valinta stared at teh smaller canine in front of her. Why are you here? she snarled. You're tresspassing. The bear skin she wore moved with her, adding a ferocious scowl on top of her head, balanced between her ears.
Smelling someone other than the obviously inferior coyote in front of her, Valinta stood still, her legs balanced and spread apart easily, ready to launch herself at the coyote. Who else is their? Another coyote perhaps? She looked condescendingly at the coyote, despite the fact that she was so short, they were about the same height. Too scared to come by yourself, then? Valinta snarled. She carefully watched the sowrd as she held her own borrowed weapon. Not taking her eyes off of the coyote, she crept, hunched over slightly, towards a large window. Why don't you just leave now? she asked the coyote quietly. So I don't have to tell the capitano how on my second day, I've already kicked some coyote butt! She shouted the last few words, hoping that, if it was a coyote outside the lodge, they would run away.

Fine eyebrows rose in quiet expectations as the dim wolf turned to face the coyote’s form. Oh, it shouldn’t have been a surprise to find that hostility sprouted out from the dark form the moment it was established that the other was a lowly, what, coyote? Silas’ more harmonic ways of life had inspired Halo to rethink her crude, racist view of wolves. The reluctance to that kind flowed back in now with full strength as the darker canine continued to spew out words of threat and general rudeness. Despite the heavy dislike from the wolf, Halo simply had to smile at the silly hide that the young wolf was wearing. A knife was directed in her general direction, but the hydra harboured no fear for this one.

The wolf was barely an adult in truth, and the heavy bear fur would both limit her movement and weight her down. Such an easy giant squid she would be, but Halo had not announced her presence only to turn this into a bloodbath. She felt the desire to change her mind though, for the wolf was being horribly out of line. Would she be just as brave after Halo had cut out her clever tongue? The thought made the beautiful Lykoi smile, though eyes quickly found the other approaching creature; the one revealed by his own pack mate. Yes, so this was indeed pack lands now? A scowl wanted to settle on the cream and copper hybrid’s face again, but she controlled her face carefully—did not allow a ripple of that heavy disapproval to make cracks in her mask.

Ears pulled backwards though, for it was ridiculous how they seemed intent on harming her. And here Mudbloods was the group with a reputation?
”Arrogance will eventually lead to your downfall, child,” she softly spoke, smiling still as the wolf was all words yet crawled toward the window and alternative escape route instead.
”Had I wished you harm I would not have called out a word of greeting,” It would be so easy to have the words turn sour on her tongue. Turning now, she made certain to have the male in her general focus. The girl couldn’t become a worthy obstacle even if she tried, but silence and stealth spoke louder than foolish words. He could be a problem.

She had the confirmation though, and even if it stung her entire being to do so, she turned fully from the door entrance and started to walk away, though stilly with ears hunting for every possible sound and a ruby eye resting on the male. She would leave quietly if she could, because for once she had not really carried ill intentions. The hybrid was disappointed, for she supposed she couldn’t change as long as there were such disgusting personalities out spreading the wildfire. She was a very bad person herself, but meeting with wolves that immediately put such weight on her blood from the moment they saw her made change impossible.
