Read-only, unless fae love wants to jump in. It’s Ezra’s first transformation. :3 Lyrics from Anberlin’s “Soft Skeletons.”

Ezra was haunted. Every morning the boy woke up in a cold sweat, furious at his inability to stop the event that scarred his life. That crazy male had ruthlessly attacked him. Ouija was biased because of Ezra’s blood and wanted to ruin him. He had taken one of the few things Ezra was truly blessed to have. He loved his body, he loved his heritage. The Rosen family was pure. The few bad events Ezra had before coming to the Court had jaded his perception on the luperci. They were vicious, cruel beings that had no regard for anything sacred. Ezra wanted no part of that world. Now, there was nothing he could do. He was one of them.

Don't fix your eyes

A fix you'll rely on

Fixed her eyes on

A fix she relies upon

But then, there was Ever. She was a werewolf (and proud to be one). God, he loved that girl more than anything else in the world. She was his other half; she was beautiful, clever, and the warmest creature he had ever seen before. She had saved him after the attack. Her and Alaine patched him up and took care of him; now, he would be forever in debt to his mate. There had been so much conflict between them before. Now that Ezra had been tainted, the two had grown closer. He would have to understand her way of life. He had planned on being the best mate in the world before this, but now they were on the same level ground. It was fate; this horrific event was meant to bring him closer with Ever. There was absolutely no other explanation.

Stand unafraid

All the good souls

Stand unafraid

He had to embrace this new side of him. He could feel it creeping up on him. In those chilly, dark days in his den, Ezra waited for his body to heal. After the first week the bruises on his back and legs were gone and he could limp outside without outwardly appearing to be in pain. Ever had stayed by his side and helped him every day. Recently, the wound on his neck had healed and in its place were three little scars in the shape of Ouija’s paw from where he had slashed it. His shoulder was another mess entirely. It still ached every time it was moved, but at least the boy wasn’t limping anymore. The wound was starting to heal, but was healing slower than normal because it was the product of Ouija slashing his shoulder to pieces and biting it. It was ground zero. His shoulder was the infection site.

When the light starts to burn

And the pain returns

I just wish that I could heal the hurt you feel tonight

Ezra knew today was the day. He could feel it itching in his body, like some demon swirling under his skin that was dying to get out. It was a side of him that Ezra never wanted to confront. But that first initial transformation had to happen. His shoulder was healed enough in order for it to occur, the virus knew that. It was driving him mad. The boy found himself on the balmy day outside by his favorite willow tree, stretching his legs. Ezra wondered where Ever had wandered off to, but it didn’t really concern him. She still lived in her own home with her adopted parents, and Ezra still preferred his den. They would move in eventually, he supposed.

How can you expect to win this war

If you're too afraid to fight

If you're too afraid to fight

Without warning, the demon took over. Ezra could feel it, the itching became intolerable – it was time to face it and embrace it. His ebony fur grew, and Ezra felt a mane growing down the length of his back. His feet felt squished, too small, before they slowly started elongating and enlarging. Bi-colored eyes slammed shut, dark muzzle breathing heavily. He would not freak out. This was meant to happen. Ezra’s back cracked and contorted so much that the mutt lay on the ground to counteract the dizziness and uncomfortable feeling he was getting. His dog-like tail grew substantially, getting much larger and coarser. Ezra panted, feeling sick to his stomach. Bones kept cracking, ribs grew wider, and skull grew larger. The boy had no sense of time, he wasn’t thinking about anything but the sensation he felt in his limbs at that very moment. It had happened.

Trapped inside

A pretty little lie

Your body's betrayed

It was complete. The mutt, still in shock, looked at his new, gazelle-like legs and dexterous hands. It was sickening. Ezra picked himself off the frosty ground and stood up. Like a human child learning to walk, he slowly made his way over to the little pond by his den, uneasy in his new body. The almost frozen water presented the boy in a completely new light. He was far larger. The white above his eyes had extended almost up to his ears, making the boy look like he was wearing a mask. His legs looked different, too – instead of a clear line between white and black on his limbs, the thick fur formed a gradient. The boy shut his eyes again, furrowing his brows as if that would make his new body go away. Without really thinking, Ezra threw his head back and let out a piercing howl. It sounded different, lower, as if someone else inhabited his body. He only prayed that Ever could hear him.

Everything had changed.

She was starving herself. That was the nicest way to say it. Day and night the motley female had spent all of her time with her wounded mate. He haunted her thoughts every minute she was away and tortured her mind when she was near. Ever couldn’t even remember the last time she had eaten or even cared for herself. Ezra didn’t take the news of his upcoming change well, but eventually he had coaxed it out of her battered body.

She awoke, pelt soaked with something she couldn’t remember. A thick black paw was nearly crushing her face until she gained enough energy to move it. Once the girl became aware of her surroundings, she was surprised to see she wasn’t already off the bed. Her mangled form had twisted in the bloodied sheets and only her shoulders and neck were in the center of the bed. She was also meekly astounded she had shifted in her sleep. Lupus paws scrambled on the bed to get up. Thoughts of Ezra may have induced the transformation, Ever concluded.

The mornings were still edged with frost and even her room was still with the cold. Bunching her muscles, the youth jumped upon the window sill to take a look. Her graceful leap was disturbed the groggy teeter to gain balance on the thin chipping piece of wood. Mind swam with the sudden motion and lack of sleep. It clutched onto reality until the fog cleared enough for her to know she had to get to her mate.

Black hands now fumbled with the button on her cotton, red winter dress Ever had pulled over her head. It was too cold not to wear anything and impossible to change without being in Optime. Normally, she made very careful preparations so that Ezra would not see much of this form, but along with the sleepy feeling and a shrug, the youth decided he better get used to it. Grabbing another tee shirt to cover her mate with incase he still shivered, Ever took off.

By the time she got there she was glad she had been in Optime. Along the way she had heard the howl, desperate, heart-wrenching, it had left her gasping from the run near Ezra’s doorstep. But she froze, the fever-like cold and warmth dancing along her skin. There he was, in perfect … Optime. The bruises seemed to disappear in his beauty as the white stretched farther over his skin than in Lupus. Ever yearned to run forward and into his arms but she deliberately held back.

Ezra……..?

She held herself, circling him like a buck ready to charge. He was frightening her. Now he had so much power over her. He was beautiful. Ever didn’t know how long she could hold back.

eeeeeeeeeeee Big Grin thank god you posted when you did, I needed a serious break from my bio lab. -kicks it.-

It was humilitation, degredation, and asphyxiation. This new side of him made Ezra unable to breathe, unable to think. It was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. Ezra felt broken. The boy continued to stare at himself in the body of water, eventually kicking the ice in order for him to see his reflection better. What he saw was so shocking to his system that he suddenly hunched over, dry heaving. No use doing that, Ezra said to himself, you’re like this for life. Regardless of the mental war raging in his head, Ezra managed to finally shut everything out and just experience silence. It was finished now.

The boy stood up, bicolored eyes closing as he rose, mind finally quiet for the first time in days. All he could hear was the slow, pained breathing escaping his chest, and the wind sifting through the reeds. He ran a hand through his new, dark mane. It felt itchy and uncomfortable. He let that thought go and let the silence take over. The war in his head subsided as he attempted to forget who he was for a moment. Suddenly, his peace was disturbed by the familiar sound of Ever. Ezra was drawn to the sound, and turned to greet her. She looked ragged. The mutt gave her a pained look, concerned for her size. She was too thin. She had been so careful to take care of him that she had neglected herself. This realization gave Ezra yet another thing to feel guilty about.

“Ever,” He said quietly, taking in the rest of her body. She was exhausted. Her optime form didn’t even bother him at this point as he had already seen it eons ago back in August. Ezra suddenly became awkward, unsure of what to do. White paws hung loosely by his side, and he took a few wobbly steps towards his mate. He didn’t know what to say. He was taller than her, he realized, and considerably bigger. He was bigger than her in lupus form to begin with, but this new size made Ezra feel unsure of himself around her now. It was all too strange.

Write on! Hope the mild powerplay is okay Smile

He could have crushed her right under his hands, Ever realized as soon as he got closer. Her black hand reached up to tuck a red curl of her mane back so she could see him better. She was afraid of what he was feeling. The situation was familiar to her and she quickly forged her experience. It was hardest to walk, she knew, but was easy to pick up. Did he accept himself? What did he think now? Her mind was everywhere, scattered like the frost along the grass. But as soon as his refreshing scent hit her, she was gone.

Ever nearly ran forward without any fear and gently slammed into her mate’s chest. She laid her head on his strong chest and grabbed a fistful of his fur, it was bloodless. Her body lay tight and she couldn’t decide if she was shivering or not. The shirt in her hand was long forgotten, messily wrapped up on her arm.

His smell was enticing and now she could embrace it. Before she knew it the youth had lifted her head and let their lips meet. She couldn’t decide if it was planned or just destiny, but there was hardly room to think. The kiss had even surprised the female but it gained so much force that she could feel them falling. Her head was so light she couldn’t tell how hard they had hit the cold grass. Anguish washed over her for a second as the silver girl realized she must have hurt her mate for even she could feel a dull throbbing in her thigh. But she couldn’t let go.

<3 noottt a problem. I think ezra’s gonna go crazy XD. Hope this powerplay is fine too haha :3 <3

Moments ago the mutt had been unable to articulate the thoughts swirling around in his mind, then they had left momentarily, and now that Ever was there, a whole new flood of thoughts came rushing in. This was too much for the boy to handle. The last two weeks had been torturous, leading him to almost go mad. But now, all the worry about his new transformation had been abandoned when he saw his love rush toward him. She was here now, it was all okay.

Ever’s silvery body came running toward him at full tilt and latched on to him like a lost child. Ezra gasped in surprise, before wrapping his gigantic arms around her tiny, exhausted body. When Ever kissed him, all the remaining breath in his body froze as his mind turned to a lovesick mush. Her dainty lips were nothing but candy and Ezra had been completely taken over by them. His mind and heart raced, as Ezra’s body felt on fire with all the emotions he had been unable to convey to her. Then came the push to the ground, and Ezra’s mind shut off. His body was in charge now, no other thoughts came into mind. Dear god, he wanted her.

Their kiss gained in passion, and the boy felt like his stomach was going to melt onto the ground. He had dreamed about this moment at night when he had first met her, but had no idea when this would actually happen. She was absolutely stunning, he couldn’t believe this was happening right now. But their love could finally be realized now that they were both on the same page in terms of body. Without thinking, Ezra pushed her frame to the ground, and his gradient legs straddled her hips. He broke the kiss off momentarily to adjust himself but returned it as quickly as he could. Getting more adventurous, the boy took his hand and cupped the side of her face, pulling her deeper into the most intoxicating kiss of his life.

Sorry it's short

She could feel his body pressing against her and even more so when the world whirled as he spun her around. Her vision blurred but she just opened her mouth and let out a laugh, placing her own black hand over his on her face and moving the other one along her side. The cold, damp frost was soaking her dress and hair, causing the wind to nip along her exposed neck. Ever ignored it and pulled the male closer. Things were getting seriously but she let her lips stay sealed to his for a good amount of time before she turned away.

Weak arms playfully threw themselves over her mate’s shoulders. Behind him she could see storm clouds gathering. So much rain around here, Ever thought.

Do not want to have too much fun yet.

The silver girl said, her voice warm as her smile. She twisted her body so that her fragile form was now on top of him, her chest on his and her legs trailing away. Swishing her tail, Ever could slowly feel the cold seeping in. Even with the frozen river close by she could still feel the ice racing through her body.
