I think the quote fits him well :3. WC: 274

Melee did find it odd that her father was not to much older than she was and wondered why that was. Gideon was a great dad to her, but it puzzled her how someone so young could be her real father. The pup even didn’t know who her mother was. All that she could remember was something warm trying to consume her. The pup wandered around the woods thinking about her family. She didn’t like to question them while they were around but felt it was alright to question them when they weren’t around. She was trying to get rid of the thought by playing on some of the rock structures nearby. So far she was doing well in making sure she wouldn’t fall over from her back paw. The girl was so happy to be having so much fun in her life.

Melee then felt a quick chill in the air, as if there was something here with her. She stopped playing and scanned her eyes around the area. She didn’t see anyone, but she was scared that there was someone watching her. The pup curled her tail between her legs and waited to see if anyone would turn up. So far no one was and she climbed up higher on the rocks. She was being cautious and careful. The girl had made it to the top, though it was not that high. An older wolf would easily be able to match her height and grab her. She was unsure of what to do now. She just hoped the feeling would pass and she would be able to continue with her play time.

Paws of cream adorned with dark gray claws dug into soft soil as they once had so long ago. Yet the beast did not adore the feeling of this world’s soil beneath his worn pads. The scenery had changed; had moved on into another season without his presence. Haku Soul had never doubted that the world would move along without him, for time waited for no one, not even gods. Trapped within mortal flesh and bone, he was bound by the rules of physics. Once he had been glorious, leaving a trail of deep maroon wherever he went. His time would rise again, but no longer as the wolf known for his affection for misery and despair. But he was still here, still breathing the same air, though it was hollow, so hollow.

And he was not alone. Not anymore.

A cluster of boulders and traitor colours of life in a dying world. There was a gentle chill in the air; it had to be close to winter. Jaws parted as the beast moved, attempting to adjust for use once again. Mist lay thick in his mind; obscuring thoughts and knowledge of what could only be the past. The long lasting taste of dusted blood remained with him, but he knew that death had come for him, finally. Reincarnation would eventually come, but not to this place. Not to him. Not now. Not yet.

There was a child above him, and if he should have recognized it, he did not. His world was darkness without light, and he could not perceive the world as he once had. The monster’s core was as hollow as it had been before its death, and only nightmares remained, bottled up within the body of Haku Soul.

Finally I get to see the true Haku. I'm so excited >Big Grin

Melee was unsure of what was lingering in the shadows and was so scared. Her eyes continued to scan around the area but once again she didn’t see anything. She hopped down from the rocks and looked around from the ground. She was thinking about running away and finding a place to hide. The pup sniffed the air so see if anyone was around. She could smell something foul in the air. It was like something that was dying or had already been dead. She whined and folded her ears down as she walked along the grass. If there was something evil around, she wanted to make sure she would be able to hide herself and her scent from whoever it was.

Melee found some patches of taller grass and hid in there. She hoped she didn’t stand out as she snuck around to try and find a better place to hide. She hadn’t realized that she was walking towards the one watching over her. She could feel the presence becoming stronger but thought it was just following her. The girl began to whine more and even pick up her pace. The pup found a small log that was big enough for her size. This would be the perfect hiding spot for her until whatever was here went away. She crawled inside and then looked around to see if whoever it was had really followed her. ”Hello…?” She paused to wait and see if she would get an answer. ”Is someone thewe…?”

Chocolate and cream slightly crouched, but there was no immediate need to make an effort out of stalking the small child. They were so pathetically blind to their surroundings that it was unlikely they would know anything before it was too late. The small form on the rock vanished from the spot and he could hear yellowing glass rustle drily as the small form moved out of sight. The lack of sighting did little for the small creature, for he could smell her. Flesh and blood and bones, how attractive it was in his cursed nostrils.

Shuffling sounded nearby and he slithered through the underbrush, only to lay his eyes on a hollow log. A whiny voice sounded from within, and the monster smiled his wicked smile. Clawed secui paws stepped up on the hollow wood and it creaked unhappily under his weight. ”I can hear your little heart beat..” Cocoa ears listened intensively for the drumming pace of a heart invaded by lovely adrenaline. Leaning down to the mouth of the hollow wood, yellow jaws snapped forcefully shut, aching for meatier things than air.

Wow he's a jerk even to his children?

Melee’s heart began to beat fast as the moment began to intensify. Her posture tried to cling to the ground and escape her fate. She knew something was coming and that she would be the victim unless she did something. She may have been an outgoing person but could be scared easily. The pup stayed in the log as she kept her nose and ears on alert. She was not in the best place to hide and if this was a full grown wolf then he or she would be able to pick out her scent very easily. Dirt was beginning to build up on her paws as a whine emitted from her lips. She wanted to stay quiet but the moment was too much for her. She braced herself for her next move.

Melee then heard the deep voice coming from the distance. She tried to sneak out of log as he came closer so she could run off, but she knew she would not be able to out run the male. If anything, she hoped she would be able to find another hiding spot, a place where he would not be able to find her. She could feel the male’s paw on the log and scooted quickly towards the entrance. He knew she was there and he would soon get her. The pup then felt herself being raised from the ground. She paniced and slide out of the log, rolling away on the ground. Once the girl was back on her feet, she would begin to run and look for a new hiding place. One that was better than the log.

His insides churned with the usual hollowness, and Haku was as helpless to the immerse craving now as he had before. Self control had a whole new meaning within his damaged mind, and all the beast could fixate on was the need to pursue carnal satisfaction through flesh. Saliva untainted by heavy copper screamed of failure within his ghostly facade, and the creature within the hollow was fresh and alive. How he ached to rip her apart with jagged fangs coated with decay. Her scent was a fresh bud within his needy nostrils, and as she remained temporarily unavailable to greedy, unsympathetic teeth, the exiled man of Dahlia allowed himself time to analyse her scent, quickly establishing ties there. A black woman of Inferni, born from hybrid spirits had spoken gibberish of dragons and rebirth. Yet here he was, and he was dead; dead and about to be forgotten by those he had terrorized all these years. Had Eris Lykoi tried to guide him into an indefinite darkness? Betrayal was not received kindly, and his rage would shake the depths of the earth.

There was enough offspring of his roaming about to make a designated follower impossible. The curse in their blood had started with Haku, but who were worthy to follow in his footsteps? This body had eventually succumbed to the physical laws of this world, and he continued to seek another. The seeds had already been planted, but which ones would sprout and grown into a new monster seeking death to its fellow citizens? A whine sounded from the log, and it was only through sheer surprise that Haku’s reflexes moved too slowly for his jaws to bite through the little, chocolate coated girl as she rolled out of the log and onto the ground within his reach. Grass and dirt still clung to her as her panicked form forced her own legs under her and flew with a body fuelled by urgency and instinct. That was right. Run, little girl, the male thought as dark laughter stirred within deep blue embers, silent and constant. Did the young female even know who he was? His insides continued to burn without mercy, but the male was not above toying with his food, for he would enjoy this one.

Her round puppy form was agile when her situation was dire, but he was a fully grown monster; designed to climb out from the collecting darkness under beds to devour the child in the middle of the night. They had written stories about him, and he had known various forms as he had clawed at this earth and its citizens with greedy claws. Prince of hell, he would rise again in a new form spoiled with the same darkness that had led this vessel into madness. An era was over while another began. This girl, birthed by Ember Phoenix would not see a new vessel grow. It was not her, but her body would strengthen his with its flesh and beating heart. He heard them now, the familiar whispers of the hell burning hot under his feet. His time was sparse here, but privileges belonged to royalty, and he reminded them that soon, soon he would return home to those hellish pits.

”Where are you, little girl?” he mused, the dark grin forever present on his lips as his immerse form moved through grass and light underbrush. Cocoa ears searched for the lovely sound of her fearful heart. She was right to fear him. ”Come to daddy,” he continued, feeling laughter press its way up through his throat and into the cool air that should be only for the living. He was nothing more than an insistent leech in this deceased form, but it served well for a visit with the world that had banished him. They were all fools to resist him, but this was how it always would be, and the dark hearted male would not lie and say that this did not please him. He feasted on conflict and pain, and had done well while wearing this skin. Their victory had not resulted in his defeat, after all, for he had gotten to taste sweet blood and watch souls depart as fleshy bodies died. His time here had been nothing short of glorious.

His poor canine prey left a vivid stench of fear behind, and it was ridiculously easy to follow. He wanted more of this though, and mighty paws steadily sounded against the hard ground as he took his time to follow her fleeing form.

Melee still couldn’t figure out while this male was chasing her and trying to kill her. She didn’t even know him, neither did she want to at this point. He was continuing to chase her as if she was just some prey to him. She hated the feeling and just wanted to go home. Home, that was it. That was really the only safe place she could think of to go where she could escape from this mad wolf; although, considering her size it was going to take her a while before she was able to make it all the way back. She turned around as she could smell the male getting farther away. This was a good thing which meant he was not following her, for the time being anyways. The pup began to look around for a new hiding place, though she wasn’t really having any luck. All there really was to hide her was the tall grass and some logs, but the male’s powerful jaws could break right through those. She would have to trust the grass that it would lead her somewhere safe. The girl looked to the sky. It was still bright out so the beast would still have a good chance of finding her. She would have to try and find a place that was dark and somewhere where she could try and fool the male away from her.

Melee began to roll around in the grass trying to mask her scent away. She wasn’t too sure if he would still be able to smell her or not, but she hoped that this would distract him long enough for her to find a new place to hide. The pup wandered around until she noticed a hole under a tree. The roots were blocking the entrance but it was big enough for her to squeeze into. She crawled into the back of the hole and curled up all by herself. She knew the male would soon find her and try to dig her out. She just hoped he would somehow go away and leave her alone. The pup’s heart was racing as she waited to see what would happen. She then heard his voice off in the distance, calling for her to come out. She tried to remain quiet but she was sure he would be able to spot her somehow. It was the male’s next sentence that threw her off guard. Daddy? This wasn’t her father. Never would she think that a monster like him would be her father. She folded her ears down as she kept her gaze on the exit to her hiding place, watching the male as he came closer and closer.

It was her time that was running out, and he wanted her to feel the pulse attempt to push its way through her throat; wanted her innards to curl like slick worms in the pit of her chilly stomach. The unkind grin still marred his once so attractive face. Haku Soul had been a beautiful creature once and the amount of bastards roaming these lands was partly a result of it. Towards the end he had taken what he desired, but certain womanly figures had still desired the carnal love he could provide, though those who had attempted to pierce his withered heart for more had been left horribly disappointed. There was no creature more egoistic than he, and he revelled at the destruction he created. The blood and flesh of others had kept his decaying body strong, but Gabriel de le Poer had granted him and end. It had all been planned out beautifully by a mighty creature far stronger than the demonic Soul male, and therefore there was only acceptance within the hollow’s disturbed and fragmented soul.

Yellowing grass was thickening, and the girl’s scent was overpowering as he stepped into an area full of bent growth. Dark nose amongst cream was lowered to the ground and exhaled the little girl’s tempting scent with animated nostrils. He did not pick up the intention of this, but had he known of her attempt to conceal her scent he would have laughed. Truth be told, it would not have been a completely foolish idea in heated summer months where the growth of this world were rich and healthy. Now the world was leaping into white and grey, and the grass was yellow with sickness, not green and fresh of its stench. The dark hearted soul continued on, though decided to pick up the pace. He liked to play on occasion, but his rotten insides begged for nutrition in the form of puppy flesh, and he would oblige. The prince of hell remained immortal, but his vessel was not.

Perhaps the chocolate and cream man should have pondered the reason for his current existence, but there was really no reason to it. It did not do anything for him. Truths were not necessary for him to pursue, for he was the god of lies and corruption. What he knew with certainty was that dirty paws paced across a living earth instead of hellfire. The little wolf girl’s taste would be real and filling, and he would return with another soul to his black father downstairs. There had been no response to the beast’s mocking summons, but he would have been disappointed if the child had possessed enough stupidity to comply. It was better this way, to take down the little creature as the uncaring hunter he was; to see her body wrestle for freedom as jaws crushed through bones and gave birth to terrible agony no innocent soul deserved to be put through. The golden child of his own had been granted a swifter death than most, but that was merely because the circumstances had willed it so. He had waited his future to be read aloud by the pitch black Lykoi.

There were no dragons in this world any longer, and his future remained uncertain. The monstrous creature would no doubt rise again to taste the blood of the living, but he knew now which form he would terrorize them with. They should not doubt his coming though, but they so quickly forgot that there were real demons in this world. A hollow entrance quietly expressed her scent, and open jaws soon arrived to gaze down the dark hole. A set of twinkling blue eyes in a shade still vividly handsome attempted to peer into the shadows to see if he could at least make out an outline of the child. She was there though; he could smell her fear. ”There’s nowhere to hide now.” There was certainty in his voice. The air at the entrance of the little tunnel was too stagnant for there to be another easy way to escape from her. This was exactly where he wanted her though, for she would be able to witness his slow approach and know exactly how much life she had left.

Haku smiled, baring his fangs at the darkness as thunder rolled through his throat. ”You will not survive today,” he announced to her, just in case she still possessed foolish hopes of escape. Few managed to escape the towering creature, not even grown up adults with experience and strength in their possession. A little puppy could not prove to become a mighty obstacle, especially not now as he was stood before the entrance. Powerful secui claws started to claw against the hardening earth. He was coming for her.

sorry for the wait. SSWM: 522

Melee could feel her heart racing as she waited to see if the male would find her or not. She could feel the fear growing inside her as she kept her eyes glued to the exit of her hiding place. She knew that if he found her here, there was no where to run. The only thing she would be able to do was to try and fight him off, but she was just too scared to do anything. She could feel the evil swirling around the male as he came closer and closer to her hiding place. She wondered if her plan to throw him off even worked. Knowing that he was a strong adult, she had her doubts and began to move to the back of the hole and tried to hide herself in the shadows. Her pelt was as dark as the male’s, but her eyes were a bit brighter. The girl curled her tail around her legs as she closed her eyes and listened for his movements. So far it was quiet outside, which was a good sign, but she was sure this wasn’t going to last for much longer. Adults were smarter than pups, so she was sure he would eventually find her. The pup wondered why the male was trying to get to her anyways. She did not do anything wrong and wondered what she had done to make this devil want to get her and kill her. She kept her ears up to listen for the male.

Melee then felt and heard the movement she was so scared of. She opened her eyes and looked out of the entrance to see the male’s muzzle. He knew she was hiding there, though it seemed at first he couldn’t see where she was in her hiding place. She could hear the evil in his voice as he came closer. Her heart continued to race as she looked around for something that might have been able to help her get rid of the male, or at least scare him away so that she would be able to get out and run back home. She watched the male as his claws came closer and closer. It was like she was staring death in the face and he was its vessel. She whined and paniced, looking around for anything she could use. There was no way she could fight off the male’s powerful claws. After hearing his voice once more, she backed her tiny body against the wall of the hole and watched the male begin to work his way to her. She was too scared to try and fight back. The only thing the girl could think to do was begin to dig at the wall of dirt and try to make a tunnel to get out and run. She dug as fast as she could, throwing the dirt towards the male. Since he would be using his claws, she was sure he would have to lean his head down so he could see her. She tried to fling the dirt into his face and make him go away.
