The pristine female seemed to be in a state of shock, as she felt herself being led by the other girl, who smelled like horses, towards a river. By this point, though, Shi felt dirty from head to toe, almost as if she could feel the stench coming off of her fur. Oh how she hated it, but what she stepped into came as such a surprise that she could react no further than being in shock. Even when she steeped her tainted foot in the icy water, it was like she was having an out-of-body experience. Only when Shi did realize that cold swept through her white and cream form, did she do her best to suppress a scream. With her free hand, the other being held gently by Liliana, she slapped it over her mouth to keep from yelping.

"Muurrrff!" She said in between her perfectly white fingers, cerulean eyes nearly popping from their sockets as she looked over at the multicolored female. The Dawnbringer female nearly stepped back from the cold water after she dipped it in, looking down at her now clean foot. Still, disappointment was evident on her features, as she let her hand that covered her mouth slipped down to her coat, pulling it tight around her. If there was one thing she hated more than being dirty, was the bitter cold that a mere coat couldn't help. Shiloh looked at Lili, still unable to say anything, the cold now gripping at her throat. The AniWayan girl seemed to understand the younger female's thoughts, and she nodded briskly. "F-f-filthy horses.." she muttered under her breath, speaking softly so that the other woman wouldn't hear her, her ivory teeth beginning to chatter.

"S-sorry," she blurted, her eyes glancing down as her fingers griped her leather coat. "I just h-hate getting filthy," she said, as a look of disgust marred her face, as if the word itself was disgusting upon her tongue. Shiloh wasn't sure how much of an outburst she caused, especially in public, but truthfully she didn't care. It was not lady like or even proper to be dirty, and to Shiloh.. that notion went just a bit farther.

She was NOT making a very good first impression and she felt horrible, this was the first time in history of her like that things didn’t go according to plan. She cringed as the girl put her foot in the water, but now tha it was clean she seemed to be shivering and Shiloh started chattering… well a bath could not make it any worse could it?

Oh Shiloh I’m so sorry, seriously, we do have a bath, and a nice warm one in the town hall I promise it won’t disappoint.

At least she hoped, it seemed quite easy to disappoint the fey in front of her, and she felt so horrible for even bringing her to the stables in the first place.

I truly honestly don’t leave messes like that laying around, and horses aren’t all… smelly and gross, they still have that majesty that is worth everything…

Yes she was trying to save her horse’s dignities, why? Because right now that was the best thing they has even if they didn’t care.

Come on a bath would help, it just wouldn’t have helped with the manure on your foot like that.

She said, indeed that was the case, because Liliana wouldn’t have been the one to enjoy cleaning out that basin… in any case she started heading away from the freezing creek back to the village.

If only the Dawnbringer female had realized what noise she caused. AniWayans turned their heads and stopped what they were doing to see the poor shrieking girl. A few had even chuckled, looking at how ridiculous the damsel in distress was. And yet she heard Lili apologize - blame herself - for the mess the horses had made. Cerulean eyes closed and tried to focus her mind off of the dirt she stepped in, and of the cold she had to experience to get rid of it. Shiloh tried to focus on the bath that the other girl had mentioned, and breathed deep the cool air, now realizing she didn't have to hold her breath any longer.

"It's okay," the pristine female said finally. All animals had to do that anyways, despite what Shiloh wanted to believe. Urged on by the black hybrid, Shiloh followed in step with her, looking down and away from the curious stares she was beginning to receive as they headed back towards the village. There was a silence between them for the moment, the white female's eyes trained on the ground in front of her. "What's it like?" She said, her thoughts going back to the moment they met. Realizing Liliana wasn't going to understand the question, she swallowed and asked more specifically. "To.. to ride one?" Her teeth were clenched, attempting to drive the inner cold away from her.

Shi could only imagine what it was like to ride one of those tremendous creatures, across the plains with the wind sweeping through one's hair. Of course, the first thing the damsel thought of was how messy her hair would be after a run, but that was an easy fix. Dirt and grime and.. manure... not so much. Not to her, at least. Bright blue eyes ventured a glance upwards, as the two women approached the heart of the village, and she saw humor in the faces of many. For a moment she narrowed her eyes, but then turned away. Shi had no right to tell anyone what to do, especially when she was a guest.

A sigh escaped her lips, as she looked at the hospitable AniWayan girl next to her. "Will you.. show me around?" The white female, for a moment, thought a bath would be nice later. She felt she wasn't being a very wonderful guest, despite how welcoming Lili was to her. As much as Shiloh would have enjoyed clean, warm water surrounding her, it could wait. For now.

Liliana could not help being embarrassed as her fellow AniWayan’s stared openly at her new friend. She didn’t blame the poor girl for all that just happened to her in a span of a few minutes, though it seemed to drift away as she asked, her voice chattering from the cold, what it was like to ride a horse.

It’s worth having to pick up after them, I must tell you… it’s like… a freedom more than you could ever have on your own two feet, to feel like you are part of the horse as you race through the fields, it’s a wonderful feeling.

She said, she would have offered for the young woman to try to ride, but she’d have to teach her and show her how, and she honestly wasn’t sure how the girl would react to the horse especially when they always had some bit of dust in their fur, and the saddles weren’t always the best of conditions. Then it seemed that the girl did a whole turn around, she was quite happy to want a bath but when they got close to the town hall the girl asked if she could be shown around. Liliana smiled.

Of course, where would you like to start?

She asked, this time she’d let the young woman decide, most of the area itself was a swamp, though much of it was frozen, there were beautiful spots, they were just boggy and not always appareciated.

Part 1 of catching up!

Ears perked up as Lili mentioned the freedom and the wonderful feelings she expressed, and Shi could do nothing but believe her. There was a certain joy in the Aniwayan's voice, that knew exactly how riding a horse should be. They were magical creatures, Shiloh knew, and despite what had happened a few minutes ago, she knew she couldn't blame for what the horse had done.

When asked where to start their little tour of the primitive place, Shiloh shook her head of her previous thoughts and offered a small smile. "Wherever you'd like. I am only a guest, after all," she said genuinely. Cerulean eyes tried to stay away from the glances that were being given in their direction, and simply looked to the other female for guidance.
