Though she would not have imagined it such a long time ago when they had first met, well over a year ago, the young Lady Chance loved the Aatte Knight with all of her heart and then some, and she had been so lucky to find someone who appreciated her as much as she deserved. He made her feel beautiful and strong and loved and amazing, and she deserved every moment of the happiness that he brought her. Princess loved him so completely, and he was chivalrous and brave and gentle and simply fantastic. She could never have asked for someone that was better than him, because for her, there was no one better. He had unexpectedly become a major part of her life all those months ago, and she would never ask for that to be changed or to go back to he life before she had met the pumpkin Knight who stole her heart.
The headstrong young woman allowed herself to be carried to their bed and she slipped herself under the blankets, waiting for her mate to return and to lay with her. She rested a thin hand over his that was on her stomach, still flat though she knew it would not be long before her pregnancy was obvious. She had to be at least a couple of weeks into her pregnancy, because it had been a little more than a fortnight since the day that she had taken charge of their bedroom antics and had surprised both Haven and herself. The young woman allowed her eyes to close gently as she thought about the act that had created the life that was now growing within her womb. She and Haven had created these small lives. It was such a precious and delicate thought, and she let it linger in her mind before she drifted off into a light sleep, hoping that her stomach would be less upset when she awoke.
