Davyn loved history. He supposed it ran in his blood. His father had been the historian of the pack, and so had recorded the history of both the pack and the family. Davyn had found the books one day, and was engrossed by them for several weeks afterward. He learned that his mother was English, and had been thrown out of her pack after mating with his father. The relationship between them had gotten a little rocky after that incident, until Davyn’s mother had approached his father with the news: she was pregnant. The normal wait, den digging, snarling commenced, and Davyn was born with two brothers, both stillborn. Being the only one who had survived, Davyn was spoiled, but sternly punished if he did something wrong. Which was rare. Davyn turned a year, and, still too young to truly understand what was going on, he wanted to know why Mother was so…cranky. Pregnant, again. Two girls came of this pregnancy, both survived.

He shook his head, tears threatening to fall. That was in the past; he could do nothing to change what had happened to his family. That had been on an entirely different continent, and Davyn had no intentions of heading back to Ireland any time soon. His alpha had made it very clear that he was no longer welcome in his lands. Davyn shrugged; at this point, his expulsion from the Irish pack did nothing to phase him. He had found a new home, and was settling in quite well, he thought.

In listening to the winds and birds, Davyn had found out about a white male, one who had met the first alphas of this pack, and he set out to find him. He had no idea where he might find this white male, but Davyn hoped that this male would be able to give him some information about the Valley and the inhabitants who had steadily come and gone.
