After his meeting with Alaki the ebony warrior started from the lighthouse, his mind and heart dead set on meeting with Naniko or someone else from this new pack for more information. He had figured if he wanted to visit the pack regardless he wouldn't bug Alaki about the pack too much. Instead he would go there right now, walk right up to the boarder and question whoever was the first wolf to come or at least that was the plan. He didn't know what type of wolves where involved in this pack. The Halifax loners had said that it was a mash of bad wolves all shoved together up with the crazy coyotes. The theory was that Inferni and this new pack were the same, just different species. Jazper of course ignored these preposterous rumors. Inferni wasn't that bad anyway.

It was getting late in the day now, having traveled from Halifax directly and stopped at Watchers Rest out of curiosity. It was amazing what humans made. To his knowledge they had built towers even taller than that one, and houses with more rooms than the mansion. They had machines that could carry people from one part of the world to the other yet all the wolves could do was maybe sail a boat if they were smart enough. Even though he believed they could never get back to where the humans had been Jazper honestly believed that the world of canines was becoming more advanced and civilized. Packs never had wars before they could shift. They couldn't live in houses, use weapons, make things from wood, sail boats, fish with a net. In their current state they were all surviving, even the little ones.

His brain still played with ideas in his head as he approached what smelt like the start of a boarder. Stopping suddenly he lowered his flank to the ground and finished off his thoughts. What if one day luperci figured out how to make planes fly or if one pack got so large it took over many of the other packs? What if eventually coyotes and wolves all became hybrids and they lived together with everyone looking the same. Leaving his thoughts at rest for a moment he lifted his large jaws into the air and let out a deep toned howl inviting anyone nearby to come talk to him. He honestly didn't car if a pup showed up, he just wanted to learn a thing or two about how the pack had come to be seemingly overnight.

OOC here: Table & Coding © Silver; Poor Jazper, Sele will have to be all worried and motherly; 513 words

Juju was out playing with his cousin and so Sele had nothing to do. Sure, she could head out to other packs and scout around and find out more about their neighbors. Still she didn't want to be too far away from the pack in case her son ended up needing her. She knew that Nani would watch over him but she really didn't want to force that on her sister even though she knew that Nani wouldn't mind. They often watched each other's pups so she knew it wouldn't be a big deal. Still she didn't want Juju to think that she had abandoned him if he decided to come looking. After all it seemed that her parents had a bad habit of that so she would rather not continue in that trend. She didn't want to add to it and be yet another statistic. Also, she had already lost a son and so she didn't want to lose anymore children if she could help it. And so she was certainly going to try and make sure that she helped it, make sure that it didn't happen again.

She had thought to go out and check on her young child. She had even started that way. At least that was until she heard a call rise up from the borders. That ended up making her switch directions. She headed towards the borders, having figured that she would check on her son after she investigated. For all she knew it could be someone waiting at the borders to be welcomed into the pack. She had been around for a few of those already. She had been trusted in her decision to figure out if they would be an asset or not. Her sister had even said so. And since she was already out she figured that she would see what was wanted.

The woman was walking upon her hands, as per her usual mode of transportation, as she headed to the borders of Anathema and having to dip through the trees to get there. Her purpose for heading that was was forgotten about just as soon as she saw the male. Or more like she had seen the bandage first. Forgetting the ideal of personal space she quickly hurried over. Once she reached the other she settled her feet on the ground and quickly dropped to her knees. It was made clear that she had children of her own as she reached out to try and gently touch the bandage before leaned in with an attempt to lick at the covered wound. She was certainly not a medic and only knew that wounds had to be cleaned right away. Of course he must have already done this since it was bandaged up already but she had no idea what else to do except to try and clean it again. Of course it wasn't going to help since she was trying to clean over the bandage. Actually it would probably hurt since she would be getting the bandage wet instead of it remaining dry.

Sitting at the boarded a familiar old sense of impatience and frustration came over him. It was strange but very time the coal wolf was stuck waiting a wave of negative emotions over came him. He could pinpoint the exact moment where these emotions had decided to become a part of him for the rest of his life. All the emotions started from when he had run to Jaded Shadows, those many years ago, where he had to stop and wait while he paced back and forth angry that no one had shown up yet while his parents where back there possibly very hurt, or now knowing better, dead. And dead they had been when Jazper had finally returned to them about a year after moving to Crimson Dreams with Deuce and Lucifer. He could still see their faces in his head every time he stopped at a boarder.

Grumbling to himself he began to wonder what was taking so long when suddenly a white figure appeared before him. A smile grew on his muzzle and all the negative feelings washed away. Could it be? Could it really be that white wolfess that he had once looked up to with such loyalty? As the fey grew closer his feelings sunk back down a little, clearly this wasn't Naniko. Watching the female as her blue eyes landed on his bandages Jazper remained silent, unsure as to what she was doing. She moved even closer, crouching down inches from him. 'This lady is crazy.' He thought as he leaned backwards trying to gain more personal space.

As she touched the bandages the Knight thought that perhaps he was in luck and she was a healer. All at once he let out a loud yip and he dashed backwards a couple of meters. “What the fuck?!” He screamed as his tail wrapped around his middle instinctively trying to protect his wounds. Obviously his first thought had been right, this lady was straight out mad! Glaring at her he exclaimed, “That friggin hurt! Didn't your parents teach you not to touch people before asking!” Grumbling he lowered himself closer to the ground feeling like he had been violated. Calming down he took a few deep breaths. What is your name?” He asked as calmly as he could after such an incident. “I'm a friend of Naniko's. I heard she lives here.” At least he hoped he did. Perhaps she could set this wolfess straight and teach her to mind other wolves personal space.

OOC here: Table & Coding © Silver; 548 words

Sele did look similar to her sister. They shared the same white coat though they had different eye colors and Sele was shorter. Still, there was enough between them to tell that they were related. At least Selene liked to think so. She did dearly love her sister after all. Nani had taught her many things since Sele didn't really have her parents for that. So some of her life lessons were learned through Nani.

The yelling and backing away had her quickly dropping her head. She had only wanted to help but all she had done was to harm him and that guilt weighed heavily on her. It showed in the quick way that she had deflated and ended up sinking lower at his scolding. Normally she wouldn't have thought to get close to or have touched someone else. Simply she had seen and injury and it made her think of how she would lick her pups's boo boos to make them all better. She hadn't thought of how that would be received. Though now that a fuss had been made it made her wish that she hadn't done something so stupid.

It was only made worse when he said that he knew Nani. Tears slipped down her cheeks as claws picked at the thick fur on her thigh in a distraught manner. Right away she knew that he was here to see Nani, that he would tell her sister on her. She could see it all playing out in her head. He would tell Nani that she had hurt him and Nani would get mad and she would be sent away. Nani didn't need her around, she was just a useless and worthless burden. She didn't do anything to help out so why would Nani want someone harmful around.

"I'm sorry.... I don't..." She shook her head, cutting off from making an excuse for herself. Why did it matter why she did what she did? It didn't matter. She was still in the wrong either way. Through her tears she couldn't see that she was pulling out strand of fur after strand of fur and creating a small bald spot on her leg. She was too stuck in her own thoughts to even feel it happening. "I... I can try to find Nani..." She offered in a broken voice. She wasn't certain where her sister was to tell the truth but she could look for her. And perhaps find Juju as well in order to go ahead and get her goodbyes out of the way and remind him to be a good boy for his aunty Nani. She would also have to bid farewell to Demi as well, though she knew that her daughter could care for herself. She wasn't needed. No one needed her. They would all be better off without her. Now even though she had managed to make an offer to find her sister she hadn't actually gotten up to do so. She couldn't when it felt like all strength had left her body with the overwhelming since of dread that she felt. With how she knew that this time would be the last time that Nani got her out of trouble. That Nani would get fed up and get rid of her.

Crouching at his safe distance he continued to stare at the female with an expression that was a mix of a glare and pure disbelief. Never in his life had someone randomly approached him like she did. It was something that the Knight was certainly not use to an now he knew that he didn't like such open and direct approaches. Inside an emotion he had never felt before emerged and flooded over him. He wasn't sure if he should trust this women, and he instantly didn't like her. No wolf, hybrid, or coyote would ever just walk up to someone and start licking them. It was just...odd.

At his yelling the female responded differently than Jazper had expected. Here he was yelling at this nut and all she did was drop her head and look pathetic. Logic told the Knight that if she was a threat or a higher member of the pack she should have yelled back or at least commented on his being at her boarders. The total lack of dominance in the girl made the warrior's heart soften as he slowly moved out of his huddle. Maybe she could be talked to. “No no,” he reassured her, “It's okay. I just wanted to see if the rumors were true.”

He searched his mind for an action plan but came up blank. Instead he simply stood back up and took a few cautious steps towards the lady. “I didn't mean to yell.” He explained with a much warmer and friendly voice. “I've just never had someone approach me like that.” It was an honest mistake on the white females part, you couldn't change someones personality. “I'm Jazper, from Crimson Dreams. I use to live with Nani from the time I was a pup until she left us.” He still had some loyalty to the old Naniko, but what he didn't know was that there was no part of that old Naniko left. Pointing to his bandages he explained quickly the situation, “I'm fine, a bear got me when my leader was attacked. I was trying to protect her.” Laying his golden eyes on the fay he asked his question once again, “What's you name?”

OOC here: Table & Coding © Silver; It is fine hun, no worries. I can be slow at times too; 501 words

It was maternal instinct that had driven her to do what she did. Normally she remained distanced from others. She had become something of a recluse. She hid out in her den or some other place away from everyone. No doubt if no injury had been present then she would have kept her distance as was normal for her. But no, she had acted without thinking. An injury to someone else had her forgetting her place. No, she had only wanted to help though she had no medical knowledge at all. And of course now that he had been yelling she blamed herself even more for his injury. She had already speculated that she had some part in it somehow and now he had hurt him even more than he had already been. She was so stupid. She wouldn't blame Nani for wanting to get rid of her at all. Not like anyone would ever miss her anyways.

"Nani lives here. She is the leader." She gave him the answer that she supposed he was looking for her but she couldn't bring herself to look back up. Just as she couldn't stop pulling out the fur now that she had started. Harming herself was the only way that she had learned to deal with the things that bothered her. This was a lighter punishment than she normally gave herself. Though no doubt once she was alone she would start cutting as the interaction and how upset he was would replay over and over again in her mind. Of course she would make sure to hurt herself worse than she had hurt him. It was what she deserved.

Selene didn't move as she was approached. She couldn't cease the tears or lift her head. No, she stayed exactly as she was so maybe she wouldn't end up hurting him again. She really hadn't meant to. She had really only wanted to help but she had messed all of that up. She deserved to be hated and she knew it. "I'm sorry." She ended up apologizing again, accepting even more of the blame upon herself. She was at fault and she knew it. If she wasn't so stupid then she would have never messed up. If only she could be more like Nani. She knew Nani would have never done anything like this. Everyone liked and loved Nani because Nani was better than her. "Selene." She finally gave up her name so that he would know just who to tell on. So he would know who to make sure wouldn't be allowed to remain within the pack. Sele had no doubt that she would be run out after this. That this male would tell Nani everything that she had done wrong. How Sele had quite possibly permanently injured this other canine. It was all her fault and she knew it. She took all the blame on herself and was certain to punish herself for it as soon as she was all alone again.
