She had caught wind that her only love was back in the lands; it twisted in her stomach about what to do. Her heart told her one thing, it told her go run to him. It was going to be hard to be in love with a male that lived so far away, but love knows no borders, or limits. Her mind screamed at her told her to stop being foolish they both had been away for so long that either of them could still have feelings for each other, it was impossible, it had to be. It just had to be. The tan and white female also knew that for the name sake of her family clan that she must, must, must love a wolf or coyote, or even a dog if it had to be. They had to be of the fur color black for they had paid for their sins. With how thick the white ran though her gene’s that she could only hope that at least one black pup would come out of her litter. Well that was if she was to ever to have a litter. Her heart raced as she walked around the border lines of her sister’s land as she paced over and over. She knew what she had to do; she knew what she wanted to do. The question that hung in her heart and mind would be would he even want to see her if she would run to him? Would his arms open up for her as she ran into them? She had so many questions, fears, and hopes running though her. She could feel her body shaking from her own fears and thoughts. She knew she had to do it. She would pace around the lands with a heart and head full of regrets and would be of no use to the pack at that state. The babe lowered her head as she took off with a run towards her old pack lands. She didn’t have the heart to stop. Her body would hurt by the time she would get there, she didn’t care. She wanted to see him. To smell him again, to even hear his voice again it would be all well worth it to her.

The babe reached the borders, as she shifted. Taking very much longer then what she knew it would, she knew she was beat. Running this far pushing her body to its limits she stood on the borders her lung hurt form the heavy breathing and the cold air stung them. She didn’t care to see him again, no matter how upset he would be would be worth it. Lifting her white muzzle to the sky she called for him. She begged for him to come and great her at the borders. She knew these lands, and had an idea of where he was staying, but these by her choice where no longer her pack lands. She would be going against one of her own pack’s rules for their lands by passing into these. She knew it would also be best to wait outside in case he wouldn’t want to see her. However, she hoped that would not be the case. Oh god how she missed him all these months.

Ty was sitting on a hill, the highest one he could find, his gold and blue eyes just staring out into the nothingness of the night sky. The half-tailed ruffian had found the air in the hills to be the most peaceful and tranquil, although being alone with his thoughts for too long became annoying. However, the cool chill of winter kept him alert enough so he could also use this time as an excuse to watch over the Valley in case of any intruders, be it beast or wolf.

However, as if to break the still silence of the air, a howl pierced the skies and caused Ty's ears to twitch. At first, Ty couldn't believe his ears, the howl he just experienced, he hadn't heard that voice since he had run from the Valley in the first place. Ty's expression immediately turned from surprise to terror, the howl that peirced the air meant that he would have to face the woman he ran from those months, something just thinking about sent butterflies through his stomach. He couldn't imagine facing her again, not after what he did, and not after what he became. What could he say? What would justify his actions? Would she forgive him? He didn't know, but that was only if it really was her.

After all, it might not have been her howl, maybe he was just hearing things. Lifting his body from it's perch, he took off reluctantly toward the howl, still hoping and praying it wasn't time to have this conversation with her. Maybe it was another wolf, maybe she had a cousin with a similar howl. maybe he was just hearing things. But all the maybes in Ty's mind came to a halt when he saw her at the boarder, her hat dangling from her neck as always. When his eyes came upon her, his mouth came before his brain even thought of anything, and he blurted out the simple phrase. "Aw hell."

She stood there, waiting; her mind was getting the best of her. She grabbed a lock of her red tinted hair as she rolled it around and around on her white finger till it was there snuggle as she rubbed another claw over each strand over and over again. She was scared out of her mind to see him again, after all she had once again letting her heart get the best of her again. Her mind told her not to go; he wouldn’t want to see her. The female shook as she stood there, her finger could no longer hold still she had to let go of the lock of hair that she had wrapped around her finger. She brought her hands together cupping them together bringing them down. A soft whine came from her lips as she stood there waiting on him. She walked around on the border as she was unable to process any other thought in her mind then what he would say after seeing her, or even if he would still have any sort of feeling for her still. Oh god she couldn’t stop shaking. And it didn’t help that all she was able to do was stand there and shake and be alone with her thoughts and fears.
She thought about calling for him again, maybe he didn’t hear her. Maybe he was in the cabin they use to share. Oh god she was doing it again. Falling down onto the snowing ground and she rolled her head forward and grabbing it. Her fingers grabbed onto her head as she held it down, claws pushing down hard enough on her scalp to hold her head down. Oh god what she had gotten her-self into? She couldn’t take it sitting there in the coldness. Standing up as she took a hand and brushed her rear, she pushed her hat around on her head, as she moved further up the lines of the borders, maybe after talking around some what she needed to do would come more clear to her.
The male could have turned into a killer with a lust for warm blood; she would still have feeling for him. As long as deep inside of him in the heart that he had with him was still the same Ty, everything could be over looked. He could have done the most horrid crimes while they were apart and she wouldn’t care, she had deep feelings for him. Nothing could change it, no matter how easier it would be for the two of them, the love that she dared not to confess to was there deep rooted into her core. It was made her wake every day. Pontiac was a very emotion being and it was deep rooted into her body it was just who she was. She could hope that Ty would accept that she was no longer able to live in the Valley that she had to be with her family. Sure he had to. The female lifted her head as she wanted to call out to him again. No…that would be rude. Very rude matter of a fact. After all her howl wasn’t a demand, she had only requested him. She sighed as she found a tree, as she moved up the tree till she found a spot to sit in. She shifted around till she was able to lay with her back on a branch, her feet stretched out as she pushed her hat down. Maybe if she waited for a while he would be done with whatever he was doing and would then come and talk to her, where she can confess that she still had deep feelings for the male. She still wanted to be his one and only lover. Only if he would have her of course, yes only and if.

Ty was motionless as he watched Pontiac squirm uncomfortably at the boarder, waiting for who Ty could only assume was him. There would be no other reason she would be here, as he knew she was no longer part of the pack. He could tell by her actions, by the way she looked around, she was waiting for him to show up, waiting to see him after all these months, but Ty didn't know if he could even face her at this moment. He had vanished from the Valley in the night, without a word to Pontiac, what could he say to the girl he ran from?

He knew he had to say something though, no matter how much he cursed under his breath he couldn't just leave her floundering out in the cold. It took Ty a few seconds to say something audible enough for Pontiac to hear it, his vocal chords fighting against him to actually get he attention. His entire body wanted to turn his half-tail to her and run right back to the safety of his cabin. However, he had to face the music at some point, and even she had appeared years later, he still might not know what to say to her. With a deep breath, he spoke out loud enough to hear her, but he only could say her name. "Pontiac."

The tree was not as warm or as welcoming as neither the cabin they had shared, nor the warm flooring had they laid upon with the children. Pontiac couldn’t think of anything less than that golden male. The only one that had been able to rob her blind and leave her wanting…No begging for it to happen all over again time after time. He had a way about him, that she knew that he was a good being. So he had a few bumps in his past that made him second guess him-self, but hadn’t they all and also wasn’t that one of the best wonders of love? It was forgiving and kind, and all the wonderful things. Six months ago she wouldn’t have dreamed she would be standing on the borders of her old pack lands looking to find the warmth in his arms. She knew he would never leave Jefferson’s lands and care. That was his teacher and he looked up to him. But Pontiac couldn’t even dream of asking him to join her. However she also felt like it was too much to say they could be mates while they lived in their own packs, granted they couldn’t share the one den, but they could meet every so often just to be near each other. That wasn’t too much to think about was it?

Hearing her name come out of his mouth she felt her heart jump, she wanted to hear him say it, she wanted to see him but she wasn’t sure if she was ready to face him, she wasn’t sure if he would still want to see her after this time gone by, there was no way that he was still single and didn’t already find another female, he was a wonderful guy. A guy that she dreamed about. She moved with her shaking body as she moved out of her temporary resting spot up in the tree she could feel the weakness in her legs as she slid down the tree. Letting go of the tree she pushed off, jumping down she let her legs bend as she fell over top of her bent legs, standing up the female pushed her auburn hair off the side of her face, as she placed her hat back upon her head. ”Ty?” She pushed down upon her hat a bit as she felt a tightness in her chest.”I need to tell you something. “ Weather or not he wanted to hear it she had to confess to him that she was still madly in love with him, She just wasn’t sure she was able to take him saying that he wasn’t in love with her back. She could only hope that he would have at least have some small feelings for her to, like she thought…Hope. That all she had any more.

Ty's ears flopped as she explained the reason she was standing in front of him now, every muscle in his body tensing up as she spoke. To tell him something? No, Ty knew better than that. He had ran away from her and her children without uttering a word about why. Telling him something was too soft, there had to be something more than that. In Ty's mind, she was here to give him a piece of her mind, to scold him for leaving. It was so obvious to Ty, she was going to make sure he knew he had wronged her when he ran off to Mexico, leaving her and the children alone, leaving them all the fend for themselves.>

She would be absolutely right too, he had left her for no explained reason that she knew of, and she was right to call him on that. Ty would explain why he ran off, but right now he wasn't going to shout or argue with Pontiac, because at this moment he deserved whatever fury she was about to unleash on him. It was time to face the music, time to face the wolfess he abandoned. He had never meant to cause harm to Pontiac, he had never intended to fall for her in the first place, but now here they were, standing across from one another with a history behind them, and a lot to explain. His expression remained stoic as he closed his eyes for a second, taking a deep breath in preparation before he opened his eyes again. "Alright, out with it then." He said in an emotionally dead tone, allowing her to say whatever she had to say to him and get this whole mess sorted out. His scarred arms crossed as he waited for her to get whatever she needed off of her chest.

Her hands shook, her heart raced, she felt that if they stood still and if there was not a bit of noise that the golden male would be able to see her heart racing and would be able to heart the hard thumping as it knocked around in her chest. She rubbed her hands together as they where cupped together in front of her, she wanted to reach out and touch his face, kiss his cheeks, and everything she could to show him what she really thought about him. She wanted to still be able to look at him and know that they where meant for each other, that no matter how much time slips away from either of them, they would always have the one second in time where they could just look at each other without words and know that there was still the love there. She parted her hands as she rubbed them on the side of her legs. They were hot, and clammy and sweaty. She took a deep breath as she looked down, pushing the snow around with her foot.

Mustering up the courage the female looked up to the Valley beast. ”Look Ty…I still….I guess what I’m trying to say is….Well you see…” The female wasn’t sure if he was ready to hear what she had to say about him. She did not want him to tuck tail and run away from her, she would be crushed she would always love him but he was able to crush her soul like no one else. She reached over to the golden male and put her hand with in one of his paws as she moved it onto her cheek slowly as she looked at him with nervous blue eyes. She felt a stutter in her breathing as she brought his paw up to her face. ”Ty…I love you. I don’t care what happens or what happened. I love you.” As long as he knew that she hoped that things would be better, that he wouldn’t be so stiff and she wouldn’t feel as if she was trying to hide this big secret. She let go of his paw as she allowed him to take control of whatever he wanted to do with his own hand. Hell he could smack her across her face, and she would take it from him. She was at least open and honest with him about her feelings.

The tan and white hybrid she wolf dog looked back down to the snow as she shifted her hat around upon her head as her foot went back to moving the snow around upon the ground around her footing area. The snow was cold and was making her toes wet and it was starting to show the ground which was becoming unfrozen with her moving her foot around the area stripping what little grass was left in the area off the ground, reviling mud under the stripped grass. She wasn’t sure if she was able to take him say nothing to her back.

Ty cocked an eyebrow when Pontiac finally said what she was going to say, he honestly couldn't believe his ears. "Really?" He asked her, almost disappointed by her words. "I leave you, your children, for months, without a word, I practically abandon you and that is all you have to say?" He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. "I must be in some kind of alcohol-induced dream, because that can't be all you have to say to me for the way I wronged you."

Ty couldn't believe the words coming out of his own mouth, why was he suddenly upset that she wasn't mad at him? Usually this was a win-win situation, to leave a woman and them still wanting you when you came back, but not Ty apparently, he was disappointed it Pontiac for not standing up to him. the whole time he had taken to return to Phoenix Valley he was loathing this encounter, and this was all she could muster?

And he would let his concerns be known. "Most women would be coming at me with claws and shouting for how I left you. I had promised to take care of you, and I broke that promise. I have a good explanation for it, but come on Pontiac, surely you can't be okay with what I did!" He wagged his finger in her face. "I ain't going to accept that you just forgive me for what I did, so get the anger out of your system. Come on, let's see some anger Pontiac!"

The female felt so much better getting that off her chest, she thought for sure he would have just laughed at her. Pontiac wanted nothing more than to find that happiness with someone and when she found it she would do whatever it took to keep that someone for her. When he raised his eye brown she had taken that as a good sign as she bounced upon her feet a bit with a giggle, as she nodded, what a wonderful lover she had found, she was so lucky. ”YES!” She squeaked out. She still loved him with every fiber in her body and would do whatever she could to prove to him that she was for him and him only. Pontiac would kill if the golden male would tell her to, she was a love sick fool ready to do whatever bidding that he would wish of her.

His next move she wouldn’t have thought he would have done she would have thought she would have been in his arms by now, with him kissing the top of her head. Agreeing to make things work out for now, and they would figure out for the long run as things went by. She stepped back as her hands took to wrapping around her side, she felt like she could cry, she wasn’t able to say anything. All she did was nod. She had more to tell him, if he wasn’t willing to take her welcoming back with a full forgiveness. ”But Ty…” She said with a tear in her eye. ”I left shortly after you…how can you expect me to be upset with you for the same thing I done...” She lowered her head as she stood away from him, she wasn’t sure what he wanted from her, she knew in her heart that she had forgiven him for what ever happened, just had he had done when she vanished the first time.

She looked up at him, with moist eyes. ”I…I can’t. I cannot get upset with you Ty. You had a lot pushed upon your shoulders. You weren’t ready…I’m fine with that. I really am…A part of love is forgiving and forgetting…Unless you don’t want me to?” She wasn’t sure what she could say to him to make him understand that she wasn’t going to lash out at him. She didn’t see a need to yell and scream, when she wasn’t ready at the time to take on being a mother to two children that clearly wanted to be around their mother and not their aunt. Pontiac didn’t have the heart to deal with that. She didn’t have a hard time showing in her face that she was confused and lost over this whole matter.

She voice squeaked as she looked back down her ears went flat against her head. ”Ty…” She started off with a shaky voice as she kept her head down and her ears flat against her head.”Do you even still have feeling for me? Is there still able to be an us?!”She had to know, even if it would crush her she had to know if she was wasting her time.

"An us?" Ty repeated her question once, a shaky breath followed before he trailed off and stared off into the horizon. He wanted to look her in the eye, but he couldn't, not now, not without a straight answer. The silence that followed was excruciating as Ty shifted uncomfortably, unsure how to answer Pontiac's increasingly stressful question. "I...don't even know if there is a me to be honest Pontiac. Let alone an us." He murmured as his gaze suddenly locked onto his own feet, scratching the back of his head as he desperately tried to think of a straight answer he could give Pontiac.

But Ty wasn't ready to give her an answer, he couldn't even make eye contact with her. The fact he ran from his responsibilities, from her, gave him a horrid sinking feeling in his gut that wouldn't go away. "I've changed a lot since I left the Valley, and not much of it is a good change." He took a deep breath, still shaky as he spoke. His eyes flickered to her face then back to the ground as continued trying to maintain eye contact with her. However, her face just brought him regret, he couldn't look at her for too long. "I've...become a bit of a killer, and I don't know if you could really forgive and forget if I told you the whole story. Plus...you live with a new pack...how can we maintain ourselves as mates?" He took another deep breath as he attempted to give her a "I'm not the same wolf that left you Pontiac, and I don't honestly know how I feel about anything here anymore." Still trying to give her eye contact, he placed a hand on her "I...I need some time to think while I'm here Pontiac. Alright?"

OOC: Your a butt Adam ;p I was all set to go to bed and work on my growing list of reply and then I say you had posted to this thread. Smile

Her voice was shaky; her heart felt like with each beat of it that it lowered further down into her body, lower and lower with each thump. She felt like she was going to fall down to her knees and her life was going to stop as soon as she would fall down. His eyes told her everything; Ty was lost in his own world of thoughts. Pontiac did not care what he had done while he was away from her; all she cared was that he was here with her now. He proved that he cared about her when he came to her. She watched his head drop down. Like the male felt shame looking to her eyes. The female wanted to touch him; she wanted to feel his fur against her face. She pulled her hands together and up to her chest like she was praying to a god that this was just a bad dream.”Ty…” She knew she had to talk slowly. ”Being mates in the eyes of the pack don’t matter to me. I will not make you leave Jefferson; I know he’s like a father to you. Just like you know what being around my sisters mean to me. But…I do not live that far away. If we were to become mates, I would promise my heart, body and soul to you. I would come to you when ever I can. The only thing that would be different is that I would not live in the pack, and I would not be around all the time.” She knew she could promise him that. She would promise the golden male everything that she could give him, if it meant getting him to understand that no matter what happened she loved him. His words floored her, she could not hold her body up any more, as she feel down to her knees, with a gasp. She knew that it was coming, she knew it was only a matter of time before he said that to her. She pushed her hands out to brace her as she feel down to the snowy ground. ”Take as long as you need Ty.” She kept her head down as if she was looking at the snow, but the snowy and tan babe had her eyes shut. ”No matter what happens….I will always love you Ty. You where my first lover…ever and you will always be my first lover. “ Pontiac felt the earth spinning under her, spinning so fast that if she looked up, or opened her eyes she would get sick for how fast it was moving under her. Though it was odd for Pontiac not to have somewhat if not all of the control of what been going on in her life right now. For once she had to open her hands and let someone else take the lead in this dance of life.

sorry for the wait, short post! Tongue

Excuses, she gave him more and more reasons to be mates with her and join her in a romantic bond, but Ty could only perceive them as excuses right now. She was trying all she could to have him go with her, and despite giving her a understanding glance, his expression remained in a regretful grimace to her offer. She didn't know, she couldn't know what kind of wolf Ty had become since he had returned, it wasn't her fault, but before they had any chance of getting back together, Ty would have to tell her what he had done, and he was not in any mindset to do so, not now.

She poured his heart out to him, telling him he was still her one true love, she would always love him and such, he responded by turning his back on her. Refusing to show her the sadness on his own face, he took a few steps away, he didn't intend for this to happen, any of this, but he knew what he had to do now. He began to take off into the woods, but before he did, he said to Pontiac as stoically as he could. "I have a lot to explain to you, if we have any chance of reunion, you must wait until I can tell you what I have done in Mexico, wait one month, I will tell you everything."

Without another word, he was off, as quick as he came.

And Done...Sad but done. WC:3+

The tan and white female could see it in his eyes, he no longer had that place in his heart for her, he no longer could take her love, Pontiac’s heart was shattered and her sprits where crushed, what else could she say to him. She needed him in her life, she was still madly in love with him, and she would always love him. After all he was her first lover, well not psychically but she would always feel like he had let a deep paw print upon her heart. She stepped back as her knees shook as she feel down to the ground, watching his eyes, they where cold and distant to her. Why? What could have happened down south that had turned her warrior lover into something so cold and something that was not the same golden male that enjoyed her cooking and allowed her to live in his house. What had happened? Down upon her knees she felt like a child being scored by the leader for wondering too far.
She gasped as she felt the panic racing though her, running though her blood taking away the much needed oxygen from her blood. Her mind raced as she feel back off her knees to her rear, as she looked at the male, he was cold his eyes told her that whatever he or she had done..That it was over. ”No..” She whispered reaching out for him, not wanting him to leave. Tears rose to her eyes as they streamed down her face. Why? What had happened to make the male against working it out right here, and right now? She tied to move forward but feel forward, she did not have the heart to cross the borders to go after him; she wanted to, she wanted to more than anything. Pontiac had already tried to embrace him and let him know that what every as done that she would and did forgive him. Falling down to the ground the female laid there in tears unable to move as the panic attack took root and surged though her body, it was not the first one that she had ever had, and she knew that surely this would not be the last of them.
