WC: 444. I tried to, but really wasn't sure how to describe it, you can try if you like, haha. ^^

Itzal laughed softly at her comment. "I trust you not to get us lost. Though if you do, I can't promise I can get us unlost." He smiled some, even though she couldn't see it. He looked around, and admired the thick growth of trees, as the walked around he moved with a grace, looking at the beauty of the trees, a bush over here, with berries dying for spring to come. He could make out the ocean some through the trees sometimes when he looked in just the right direction. The sun would rise soon, and it would probably sparkle like the rain did after a heavy rain. He could just imagine it, all spreading throughout the sea, like a fire consuming everything in its path, it would be a sight to see. He sighed and looked back at her, smiling again. He didn't mind that she had shifted to Secui. Whatever helped give her peace of mind was fine by him. He stayed the way he was, so she would feel like she had an advantage on him if he did try anything. Though he wouldn't, he knew for sure that right now, there wasn't even a tiny chance he would lose control. He noticed she never glanced back at him, and wondered what she would do if he just stopped following her and stood still. Would she keep going, or turn around and look at him like he was crazy. He sighed softly again.

He looked at her, and wondered again about her weird coloring. He thought about asking her about it, but figured it was something he could always ask another time. He watched her though, with interest. She was not an innocent little girl, that much was obvious. But just how much of that air of bad girl, unstable air that he felt around her was what she had done, and what had been done to her. He had seen people abused so badly they snapped, and was again happy he hadn't snapped. He had seen people tortured, he even saved a few...and he even tortured some of them himself. He shivered softly, then looked at Axelle. He didn't want her to fear him, but there was nothing he could do about it right now. She obviously had bad experiences with males in her past.

"Thanks...for coming I mean. You aren't the worst company to have around." He said the last part with amusment, trying to help her relax by joking with her. It wasn't his usual behavior, but he felt a need to try and keep her safe, from himself, and from her fear of him.

She kept herself calm by keeping her mind on the sounds of the sea. If he wanted to kill her, she probably would’ve felt the change in tension in the air as soon as she heard her own neck snap. She pushed thoughts like those out of her mind, and picked up her walking pace unconsciously out of nerves. This was a stupid move, and she’s learned things like these already from her past stupid choices.

Finally, he said something and the tone in his voice told her that he wasn’t plotting anything. He didn’t have an evil sort of conniving tone in it, so she calmed down a bit. She stopped and turned back to look at him.

Good to know.

Her tone was kind of sarcastic, but she smiled at him and only continued walking when he was at her side. It was only a few more minutes until they were at the beach. Axelle hardly noticed until she felt the change in terrain. The hard dirt changed into sandy dirt, and she found herself walking from the trees onto a sandy beach. The waves were crashing quite close to them since high tide had to have been just ending. She looked high and saw a tall lighthouse looming over them. She just stood there staring at it.

He laughed softly at her reply. His eyes moved, trying to find the ocean, waiting for them to break the cover of the trees so he could see it. Itzal smiled as he saw the ocean, he looked out a it, at its never ending glory, until it meant the sky. Itzal wondered what laid on the other side, what was out there. His eyes moved from the sea, to the light house and grinned. He had to admit, this close to it, looking up, it looked impressive. Itzal took a few more steps then glanced back at Axelle when she didn't follow. He grinned again when he saw her just standing there, looking up at the light house.

"Pretty amazing isn't it. Now we get to climb all the way to the top. That should be fun." His voice changed from admiring to sarcastic after the first sentence. He turned and started walking again, hoping she would follow. They didn't have time to waste. The sun was already slowly descending in the sky. He walked up to the door and pried it open. It had been frozen shut from the cold weather, and had some slight rust build up, but he managed to get it open. He looked back at Axelle, and then turned and walked into the light house.

The lighthouse was impressive. She always saw these in books that she tried to read, but never actually been to one. This was an experience then. She stopped staring at it and looked at Itzal. She nodded at his statement, and then slowly followed him over the rocks toward the rusted door. She was careful on the slippery, mossy rocks and it kept her a little longer.

Itzal was already inside the lighthouse when she reached the door. She stepped inside and the cold metal floor nipped at her pads. It was just a circular room. There was a decaying desk toward the back of the room, and it didn’t seem to have anything interesting on it, or in it since all the drawers were missing.

She followed Itzal up the first flight of stairs and she stopped at a door leading to a little room. The room was tiny. Maybe a small office? There wasn’t even enough room for a bed in there, but there was an ancient piece of paper in there. She went over to sniff it. It smelled dusty. She lifted her head, and jumped back. A human skeleton was slouched in the corner of the room. It was so caked with dust and debris that it was barely noticeable until you were in the room. Axelle backed away and out of the room with her eyes locked on the corpse. It still had decaying clothes on. A blue jumper it looked like and the skull was wearing a blue cap. Both clothing items were holy and dusty from all the years of sitting there. Axelle’s hair was standing on end as she looked at this poor soul’s corpse rotting away in the corner.
