It had already been over a week since Valkyrie had once again set foot in Inferni territory and could call herself a member of Inferni. The small amount of time she had spent here had been relaxing and a good change of pace. For the last year she had been traveling miles everyday only to wake up the next morning and travel some more. She didn't completely regret leaving and traveling east. The small band of travelers she had met up with had taught her some variable skills and concepts that she wouldn't have learned if she had stayed in Inferni. When she left Inferni last she had given up her cave, and hadn't yet found her a home. She was thinking that a cave would have been best, since she was used to living in caves and dens either dug or naturally formed. That was the reason why she was out today, actually.

She was on her way to the caves to find her a new place to stay. She was almost there and could almost see it as she approached from the forest of nod. She had spent the night in the forest of nod the last couple of days in a small abandon den that was either coyote of badger. She was tired of spending the night in random dens that she just happened to find while wondering around. She wanted a more perminate home that she would sleep in every night and keep all of her possessions in. She had very few possessions, only her faded brown dress to be exact, but as soon as she got settled here she was going to go to Halifax and search for some clothing that would keep her warm. She might even find a necklace or something of the sort that would catch her eye.

She slowly approached the caves studying them intently. Which one was she to choose? She would like one with a view of the beach and ocean beyond, but if they were all taken she could live with any of them. She had had a love for the ocean since she was a pup coming to the ocean almost everyday. She remembered when she was young just able to walk and get around she had come down to the beach and saw a hermit crab. She talked to it and thought of it as a friend in till she was older and realized that hermit crabs couldn't be friends. She had referred to it as her's and had come down to see it everyday.

Wandering was wonderful, especially around her coymutt kingdom. The place where she felt most at home. The place that held her heart so close. It was hers, and belonged there, ever since they came from the burning remnants of the last lands. Ever since her father, her beautiful father, had cleansed the old lands in the flames. Talitha felt attuned to the earth that sat beneath her feet, not in the same way that the others might, but attuned all the same. Each step brought about a high that slid over the subtle lining of liquored up enjoyment.

Today, her place of interest were the Grimwell Caverns. The caves where her uncle and father and wizened silver grandmother made their homes. She hadn't chosen a room amongst them herself, preferring the more civilized dwelling that was called the D'Neville manor; there were bonuses there that didn't reside within the dank caverns, mainly the ginger-furred German. If only Ezekiel were there to join her. He could sleep in her room, or he could pick his own. Her mind sat on the subject of her absent sibling, her only blood brother from her dear mother. Just like Gabriel, Ezekiel was propped up on a high wall, safe from criticism. Her adoration was endless for the two males, kept holy in her heart.

A strange scent pervaded her thoughts, drawing her from the internal worship of the Aquila and the absent de le Poer. A strange, but so familiar scent, a pack member. Perhaps a blood relative, as so many were. Her crimson eyes cast a shadowed gaze about the area, finally settling on the offender. A female, younger than she but built the same way. Slender, petite. A coyote, not a wolf. Ears still too large for her small skull. It was a cute effect, reminiscent of the childhood years.

She was slow in her approach of the caves, leaving the de le Poer woman to study her from her darkened perch. It was a wonder to see others, outside of the strange elder who had greeted her on the borders, outside of the wonder that was her family. A subtle smile broke out over her face as she stepped forward, tapping a clawed finger to her charcoal muzzle. "Searching for a home?" Her voice was gentle, retaining the murmured edge she had gained in her absence.

OOC here!

In the last year she had lived in a number of places. She had lived in a den in the forest of Nod the first part of year and, after she had left the clan, she had moved from den to den as she traveled staying no more then a week in each. The only expectation was when she first decided to travel with the group she had met. They were caring for an injured member who was not healthy enough to travel, so they had stayed in the same place for about a month if that. The thought of actually living in a den and sleeping in it night after night caused excitement to sture within her. She didn't want an extremely large cave nor did she want a small one. She wanted one in between that would be able to hold the stuff she would collect over the years, but not be big enough for two people to live in.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a gentle voice. She quickly turned around to see who it was. Before her stood a wolf or, at least, someone who was mostly wolf. She was a smaller then average wolf, much like herself. Her coat was mostly a russet brown color and her markings were strange for a wolf even if she had coyote blood mixed in. Her ears were large, but not as large as hers were still. At the thought of her own ears her large ear flinched. Her gamboge eyes continued to study the wolf in front of her resting for a few moments the wolf's ear ring and tattoo. Many coyotes in the clan had that exact tattoo. It was called the... Chaos star, right? She personally didn't like the tattoo, but she didn't think it was ugly. It just didn't match her personality.

She spook gentle to the wolf. "Yes I am." She stood there for a few more seconds in till she decided that she better introduce herself. "I'm Valkyrie does le Poer, and who might you be?" She made sure to provided her last name because many coyotes and wolves in the clan were related to her some way or another. She was born in the clan, but only her father lived here and they weren't really that close. Her father hadn't really taken the time to get to know her. Her mother had once lived in the clan, but she was long gone.

The caves were dark and dank but she loved every inch, the smell of her father and grandmother lingering in each small crevice, the scent of Hybrid Holocaust thick on the air. Others mixed in now, but she paid them no attention; those she didn't know, she didn't care about. The de le Poer woman was, however, curious about this stranger with golden eyes. Her own did not hold the same beautiful hue as her father's. No, she bore Massacre eyes, the eyes of Faolin Mogotsi and Hybrid Holocaust. Internally, she was jealous, but a smile remained as the younger female spoke and introduced herself.

Valkyrie de le Poer. De le Poer. Her smile faltered at the sound. Was this some unannounced sibling from the beastial Gabriel? Her gaze hardened, became far more analyzing, as she attempted to discern the information without asking. No, it was impossible. Valkyrie was a far cry from the blood that ran thick in her own veins, smaller and with different patterns. This female was not a lost half-sibling, and it was for the best; her father was her father, and she was often unwilling to share that pleasure, except for with Ezekiel.

Satisfied that there was no infringing relationship on the part of the young Luperci, the Inferni princess regained her soft grin of greeting. "Talitha Lykoi; I'm the daughter of Gabriel." The daughter, specifying that she was the only one. With a steadfast irritation, she refused to acknowledge others. It was she who had come back to him, and it was she who loved Inferni so deeply. Each time that she entered the lands, it was just her who held the title of Gabriel's daughter. There were no others in the world of the Lykoi woman.

But this Valkyrie held no threat. She was the child of some lost aunt or uncle, and Talitha continued her subtle kindness with unfaltering enjoyment. "Have you any particular caverns in mind? There are many, after all." She herself had chosen to live within the manor, purely for fear that her father was so disappointed without saying he was. She didn't want to crowd him, or inflict greater harm on her perceived opinion in his beautiful golden eyes. It was a preference that changed in each member of Inferni. Sometimes they enjoyed the comfort of the manor, but others enjoyed the darker caves, and there were those who loved to live within the boundaries of the Forest of Nod. It was an oddity, to live inside of a premade structure; in her childhood, Faolin and Gabriel had lived in a den, but she had grown to enjoy the comfort of knowing others shared the home with her.

Valkyrie was simply different, and that was accepted by the de le Poer, just like she accepted that her father was a monster and that her mother was gone. And perhaps the dens were nicer for those who preferred their natural motions; she just didn't see it any longer. Age had seen to it that she wouldn't.

She didn’t know where her mother was or if she would ever see her again, but she was still young and there would be time for her to go searching for her later if she wanted too. Now she needed to prove herself to her clan and carve out a life for herself here. The first thing she needed to do was find a place where she could live. That place would be the caves. She wanted one facing the beach, which is where she had most of her good childhood memories, but wasn’t for sure if there were any open facing that way, so she was prepared to take any of them. If she had to she would take a room at the mansion, but would rather have a cave. Maybe the girl in front of her would know which caves were taken and which were not. She was almost sure that the wolf in front of her had lived here long then her since she easily approached her like she did.

The wolf in front of her then spook introducing herself as Talitha Lykoi and the daughter of Gabriel. Gabriel was a de le Poer, so that would mean Talitha was related to her, right? She was aware that most people in Inferni were related to her, but she wasn’t aware that her blood reached into the Lykoi blood line. She knew that her blood was tainted with Massacre blood, since her father was of the blood line. The Massacre blood line was more blood thirst then the de le Poer blood line and she was glad that the de le Poer blood shone through more then the Massacre did. She didn’t want to be blood thirst like them or even slightly like them. She believed in a more peaceful life style.

Valkyrie flicked her head towards the beach and ocean as she spoke. “I would like one with a view of the ocean or at least facing it. Do you know if there are any open?” She spoke like she did often kind and innocent. She quietly turned to face the ocean planning to walk around to the back of the caves. “Would you like to come with me?” She thought for sure that she would want to, but it was only polite to ask.

She tucked her chestnut hair behind one of her black-tipped ears, Massacre eyes flitting about the cavernous area with a strange and apathetic curiosity. It was her father's home, and her uncle's home and her grandmother's, but not hers. She lived within the D'Neville Mansion, second floor, center hall. Where all her nightmares came true, and where a warm body to sleep with was only one hall and a few doors to the west. Cotl had proven somewhat submissive to her whims in their last meeting, a fact that she found pleasing and sent her back for more contact when she found the time. It made the manor a good decision for her, though she wondered if Gabriel would have preferred she live closer.

Her ears twitched to listen to Valkyrie's words and desires in her own home, a thoughtful expression crossing her features. While it was true she didn't know the caves as easily as she could have, she wanted to help this strange de le Poer. "I don't believe we have caves near ocean," she started to say, voice soft as her eyes darted about the entrances. "But Lethe runs through the Grimwell Caverns, and there are caves close to it." The woman's eyes finally settled back on the younger de le Poer, preceeding a gentle smile.

Subconsciously, she wondered where exactly Gabriel's dwelling was, scenting the air for traces of the male. It was everywhere, naturally, disorienting her to the true location. The soft smile faltered, twisting into a subtle frown. There would be time for her to find him later; it was Valkyrie's time just then. "Perhaps one of the riverside caves would be of your interest?" Her feet took her along a vaguely familiar path, ears leading her to the quiet river that ran through the two caves within the Caverns themselves. River Lethe was the shorter of the three rivers branching off from the Saltbrooke Inlet, Styx bordering Arachnea's Revenge to the south while Acheron bisected Inferni and curled around the Riparian Moors toward the north.

The inlet was salt, and the closest thing that the Caverns came to being near ocean water; if her, assumably, cousin truly desired a seaside cave, she would have to move outside of the borders. Talitha glanced back to the young de le Poer, her subtle smile returning once more.

She didn’t have very many friends around here and she didn’t know very many people, so each new coyote of wolf she met was another friend. She though of everyone she knew as her friends unless they were overly mean or just plain disrespectful. She hadn’t met very many people like that and hoped that she wouldn’t in the future, but every handful of coyotes their was a bad one and everyone was probably going to met one of them in their life time. Her father could be one of those bad ones, but she had yet to decide what she really thought about him. That was the first time she didn’t imminently like someone and if he hadn’t of been her very own father she would have probably tried to stay clear of him, but he was her father and she was going to have to accept that.

Talitha’s words brushed softly across her ear. She had heard of the caves by the river deep in to the cave system, but really hadn’t given thought to one of them, but now that she was thinking about it she did find the thought of living in a cave by the river nice and calming. She would be able to go to sleep every night to the sound of the river and get up in the morning to crisp clear water of the river. She had always loved water and sand epically if it was ocean water. She really didn’t like to swim in it, but she loved to just sit there and watch the waves role in as she smelled the crisp, salty air. River water wasn’t salty and it didn’t really create waves, but it still found a way to calm her.

“I think one of those caves will do nicely.” She spook with a great deal of innocence in her voice and followed it with a soft smile that reached her eyes. With that she turned and was about to take a step when she noticed that she had completely forgot where the caves were. She had known where they were at one point, but she had been away for a year and had forgotten most of the land marks. She turned slowly back towards her distant cousin that may have been removed multiply times. “Could you show me the way.” She asked nicely tilting her head slightly to the side.

The caves were a myriad of tunnels and openings, creating a maze of sorts throughout the Grimwell Caverns; sadly, Talitha hadn't explored them as thoroughly as she should have in her youth, and she was left confused as to her and her cousin's exact location. Despite the disorientation, she was determined to find the perfect home for the younger girl, to make her feel welcome in their lands. She was far from the best person to greet and include, but it was family she was dealing with and not some stranger who had no worth. Perhaps she should have been more judgemental. After all, there were still worthless piles of fur and bones within the family itself.

Valkyrie stated with such innocence that the caves near Lethe would do just fine, and Talitha gave her an amiable smile. She would just have to find the way to the river, but it wasn't so hard. The sound of the water flowing over the rocks and crevasses drew her in the right direction, glancing back briefly to motion the young coyote in her direction. "Yes, of course. This way," she murmured, her blonde-furred feet carrying her along a crooked path that lead to river Lethe.

There were several caves that opened on other side of the cavernous tunnel, giving the females a panoply of choices for dwellings. Her crimson eyes turned back toward the younger woman, a hand motioning to the various openings that sat around them. "There are a few, clearly." Many other members of Inferni lived within the manor over the caves, and it left the caves almost vacant.

As she waited, patient, her tail twitched and her mind settled back on the lineage of the female. "So who are your parents. Corona, perhaps?" Her aunt wasn't the best candidate, with golden fur and blue eyes, but it was a start in getting to know the strange de le Poer.
