ooc;; 28.01.11 Serene Sands

The wind was feeling playful today, but it was strong enough to pose a threat to the smaller in habitants of Anathema. There were quite a few of them now and Teddy had heard that there would be more soon. He wasnt a puppy kind of guy, didnt enjoy being kind to them because they got upset with his gruff manner. So he stayed away from them most of the time. Of course, living in a pack with a few of them made complete avoidal impossible. But he managed pretty well to stay away from most of them. The beach was a nice place to sit and think, which also wasnt a very nice pass time for the man. He wasnt big on thinking- he was an acting kind of guy. He was impulsive and often rude, loud and brash about what he wanted and where he wanted to be.

So finding the young Marbas out on the sands, blue eyes pensieve as he gazed out to the tumultuous sea was an odd phenomenom. A few large boulders scattered across the beach that Anathema had only recently laid claim to and the warrior had taken the time out of his busy day to sit and stare for a moment. He had in fact been patrolling out here when the relentless sea had caught his gaze. A dead penguin had been caught in a swirl of tides, its body thrown back and forward with no pattern to the movement. The finality of it all had caught the warrior and he had perched on a rock for a better view point.

The events of the past few weeks were beginning to weigh on his head. Not because he regretted his actions or the actions of his leader. Killing a coyote for coming on their lands was common protocol as far as he was concerned. And dealing with the consequences, in the form of Inferni's highest ranked members paying them a visit, was not really any sweat either. It was more to do with the settled feeling in Teddy. He was settled and he didnt know what to think about it. He had a pack to protect, with many vulnerable inhabitants not old enough to now up from down. He was beginning to move up in the ranks, make something of himself and tie him more thoroughly to the pack. The man who had wandered the wilderness for nearly a year of his life had finally found something worth fighting for. And it bothered the hell out of him.

Hai!

Naniko had told him there had been a widening on their boarders, and the moment he heard that, his sensitive curiosity arised. Now, it tingled on the back of his skull as the male walked on lands with the fresh scent of Anathema. It was so welcoming and warm. A smell completely different from his old pack, which smelled like snow, blood, fat and rust. Not that it wasn't welcoming, but it didn't get to the feet from Anathema's scent.

The Russian had been born to serve and protect his pack, don't matter which it was. And doing so, he felt complete. Whole. Like serving a pack was and had always been part of him. Those few months he spent as a wanderer, searching for this place, felt like he had been a ghost, a ghoul walking lost in the world. He killed, ate, traveled and slept, all for himself. It didn't have the same feeling it did when you were doing such things for a greater good besides yourself.

And even now, he made a point to know the territories of his new pack like the palm of his hand. And so he would, once he was done mapping these lands. Only a few details were missing, and that's what he was looking for.

Sand numbing lightly the paw pads of the Optime male, he held a compass in one hand, pieces of paper on the other, a sharp piece of hollow bone - taken from the ankle of the deer him, Nyx and Alaki had brought done not long ago - and a flask of ink hanging besides his flask on his leather belt. His sivery trumpet hanged over one of his shoulders. He wasn't sure why he was bringing int along, but he was. From time to time, he would stop, spread his sheets of paper, wet the tip of the bone pen on the ink, take out his compass and scribble down the landscape.

While skipping along some boulders, the gray man noticed a familiar black shadow. Theodore? What was he doing here all by himself. Through the few, short times they had spent together, the ex-General noticed this wasn't much of a thinker.

Carefully, the other slipped down and climbed up the few rocks, not being so careful about making too much noise; he wanted to be notied. Soon enough, both bulky males were departed by just a yard and a half.

"Theodore?" The foreigner spoke with his deep, accented voice. Slowly, he sat down besides the other male, but not so close. He could tell when someone did not wish to be so close from another. "Good afternoon." The other spoke, solemnly, and stared at the sea, like the other was doing, hoping to see if there was something intersting out there, or if the Marbas was just daydreaming or something. Which did not sound all that good for him.

Blue eyes were uncaring as they watched the dead penguin being tossed around in the waves. If he were to look at it symbollically, he might be able to say that really, this is what life was like. You were tossed from one place to the other with no real guidance to where your path was. You were controlled and manipulated by the sea of people around you and someday you convince yourself that the path you are on in the one you chose and that you are there because you want to be. You would say that you knew where you were headed from the word go and now that you'd ended up there, you would be influenced by nobody. You were alone in your enlightened path and you would be superior that you beat the sea of influences around you. It would be total shit, but some people are crazy enough to think it. Of course, if Teddy were to start symbolising anything in his surrondings, it was well past the time to take him to Demi to see if something was wrong with him. So instead he remained stoic and staring on his rock as he gazed out to sea, trying to keep track of the black and white body floating there.

The shifting of sand underfoot caught the warriors attention and like a snap of fingers he was alert. Ears shot up and hackles were quick to follow. Blue eyes sought the intruder. For a moment he didnt recognise Liev, so lost in his own thoughts. However, the flash of silver on his back brought his attention to the pale man and recognition came to those usually cold blue eyes. He was beginning to tolerate the mans presence, which was more of an achievemant than most got when meeting the mostly black warrior. Teddy allowed a nod to dip his head as Liev clambered up onto the rock and settled a few feet away. He was still smart enough not to get close. Accented words came carrying his name and Teddy returned them with a quick;

"Liev."

The acknowledgement that both of them were here and more of a hello than anything other than the actual word. The sky was beginning to turn, dark clouds rolling in and foretelling that it would rain soon. Teddy loved the rain, loved the way it combed through his fur and washed away the evidence of the battles of days gone by. It was refreshing to sit there in the rain and watch the day go past you. Of course, this rarely happened but walking in the rain was much nicer than walking in the sun. Teddy inwardly chided himself for being such a pansy and thinking whimpish thoughts about rain and shit. The Russian's voice came through again and Teddy cast a glance skyward.

"Yeah, it will be soon."

Came his short responce. Teddy was never a man of many words in every day conversation- small talk made him sound ridiculous. But of course, most wolves were uncomfortable with just sitting in silence unless they actually had something useful to say. So Teddy usually had to grasp for something to say- some question to ask. For some reason, Teddy realised that Liev could handle the silence for a few more seconds. Blue eyes swept the sea once more and he found his gave pulled towards the black and white body. Jerking his head away he gestured towards the tumultuous sea with his head.

"See the dead penguin?"

His gruff question was neither elaborate nor directional. It was just a simple comment from one man to another. Teddy could feel himself liking the Russian wolf who was quiet and loud at the same time- still a warrior even if he had chosen to become a shepherd. Teddy wondered briefly when they would be making a sacraficial offering any time soon, but pushed it away as he looked back at the pale man. He had paper in his hand and a compass on the floor. Perhaps he was drawing something.

Hai!

The awknowledgement with the sharing of the male's names was simple, but still meaningful for the Russian. Soemtimes Theodore would seem just so cold and heartless at first, one would be hoping for him to growl and shoo you away, at the minimun. Liev, however, was aware the male wasn't all that. There was more than meets the eye in everyone. And in Theodore, his ice-hard, empty blue eyes, was a simple mask, common in the finest warriors.

The other answered his second greeting, but then stood quiet for a while. In a mere second, the pale gray male pondered in sketchng out the shoreline. He also could tell Theodore wasn't a man of many words, and neither was him. If he had to spoke, it would be with reason, even though he would not deny if one wished to do small talk. It was a reason, afterall.

However, the third time the black warrior spoke, the sentence was surprising, if not random. He frowned for a second, but then noticed the black man's gesture to the see, and pushed his frame a bit further to have a clear view. At first, it was just a black and white form swinging with the waves. Soon, however, fins, feet and a beak emerged, and the male finally could tell it was a penguin. For living up in the north, he only knew penguins by pictures in books and paintings. It was the first time he saw one in real life

"Yes, I do... But how did it got here, so far north?" He answered, the last phrase more to himself, simply wondering. The foreign wolf had a wild curiosity, which he found his greatest flaw. Now, there was no need to hold it back, but in other situations, the male would be forced to swallow his curiousity and walk away. Most of the times he let it get the better of him, things did not ended well.

But there sure must be a reason for the Marbas to talk about a corpse floating in the sea. And the sheperd's curious mind pinched at the back of his brain, slightly thoughtful what would the reason be.

Though the silence between them wasnt long, Teddy knew it wasnt uncomfortable. They were both warriors, even if Liev had chosen the path of animal caring. Of course, the Marbas didnt think any less of the man- he had probably had enough to bloodshed for now and they needed someone to look after their animals anyway. But deep down, the calm grey man was a warrior. Teddy wondered for a moment about what Liev had told him about alchemy- about the wind that had tugged him from his home land and made him come all the way here. It was an odd story certainly, but Teddy wasnt one to question. Impulsivity was something he lived by and to stop and question the world around him wasnt his style.

There was no comment on the weather once more but the rumble of thunder brought his attention back to the fact that it was probably going to chuck it down some time soon. Of course, Liev had finally spotted the penguin out to sea. Neither said anything for a moment and Teddy wondered what on earth was happening to him. He felt like he was going soft, weakening. That was certainly not what he wanted. He was a warrior, a born and raised killer and sitting here staring at dead penguins out to sea was certainly something his father would have ripped into him about. Liev spoke then and Teddy turned back to the grey man.

"I have no idea... maybe its not a cold penguin? Some of them live in warmer environments..."

Teddy offered with a shrug of his shoulders. He was still in his Lupus form but had decided to stay there- his father always started their training in lupus and it was what felt natural to him when he felt like his life was otherwise all over the place. A grunt was given as the sky cracked against and a fat raindrop splashed on his cheek. Liev would need to put away his map soon, else it would be ruined. And there he went again, worrying about someone other than himself. He growled, jumping down off the rock. He was beginning to irritate himself and he didnt exactly fancy going soft right now. Fixing Liev with a stare Teddy motioned once towards the sea.

"Fancy a swim?"

The sea was wild with the threat of the upcoming storm. It would be dangerous to go swimming right now, and that danger sent trills of adrenaline coursing through his veins. Perhaps they could go and retreive the dead penguin, if they were so inclined.

Hai!

A sudden gling of light cought purple eyes b, warning of the coming roar of the thunder. Glancing upwards, the male noticed it was going to rain. Not good. He took his utensiles, rolled them up into a scroll and insertd in the worn out backpack he was wearing. Ever since Flint had joinned the pack, he had felt his sensitive ears pop now and then, signinalizing the change of pressure. He knew deep down a big ass storm was formimg, and ever since, he had beencarrying his backpack, wherever he went, incase the storm caught him unguarded.

Once hs papers were safe, he dropped it betweent him and Theodore, sniffing the airfor a second. Besides the natural umidity of the air, thanks to the sea, there was the scent characteristic of a big storm. Living under a treacherous weather, all the members of his old pack grew used to reading the weather as if reading a book; it came naturally to them.

The black male shrugged off with a suggestion to why the penguin went here, and the pale man simply nodded in reply. He knew those warm penguins were usually smaller than the ones far South, but they never tended to live to far from the Equador. Perhaps the currents had brough it here? Who knows?

Even though the weather made the sea look maddening, the black lupus offered the other for a swim. He glared at the other, one brow risen up. For a second, the older Luperci saw the danger lust in the bright blue eyes, and a frown formed on his face.

The foreinger had been guessing the other warrior was getting lost in the adrenaline thrill. It was commong to see warriors fall in battle or do stupid things, just for the rush the chemical gave to his muscles, brain and heart; It was a dangerous path to follow, and few survived for long with that addiction.

Maybe, however, if they made it before the storm got stronger, it wouldn't be all that bad. Besides,he was curious to study the anatomy of a penguin.

He rested the rest of his belongings next to the backpack, got up and stretched his back. "Well, if you want to get the penguin, be my guest. As long as we go and be back before the storm catches us, I'm fine with it." He spoke, matter of factly. He longed to understand how different the penguin body was from a regular bird's, and how many adaptations it needed to survive in the cold weathers. Not only that, the manw as use to swim. In freezing cold waters that could freeze you in fifteen minutes, but he could swim.

Not waiting for the other, he entered the water, feeling it. It' wasn't as cold as he used to waters being, but not that it was a bad thing. The wet sand beneath his feet were also weird, but he could live with it. With a quick glance behind himself to make sure the other was following, he submerged for a second before surfacing, swimming in a crawl fashion, in which was the fastest way he could swim.

Teddy could practically smell the apprehension in the air, the hesitation with which the Russian man considered the offer. Of course, he was from a much colder climate and may have been apprehensive about getting into the water that probably would have frozen him back home. Teddy wondered for a moment if there was a reason Liev had not taken up in the warrior tier- was there a reason he didnt wish to take up a trade he knew well in. Or perhaps it had something to do with the rush one got when one did something reckless or stupid, the pumping of adrenaline through the veins that made one feel indestructable. However, the Russain appeared to have put his misgivings aside as he spoke, clearly trying to lay down some ground rules.

"I'm not promising anything"

Teddy murmered, perhaps a little too low for the Russian to here. However, another crack of thunder spurred him on and Teddy plunged after Liev. While Liev was already in his otime form Teddy had remained in his lupus form. As sea water lapped at his paws Teddy leapt forward, bringing arms down into the water as he had shifted midair. The current was strong and Teddy knew they would have a rough ride. But he could also feel the excitement and adrenaline moving through his body. The grin on his lips was a little demonic as he plunged into the water once more. He couldnt see Liev, but he could see the beacon that was the penguin.

Strong warrior arms pushed forward against the current threatening to push both wolves back to the shore. It was easier once you knew to expect the waves and ride over them before they had the chance to spin and disorientate you. Teddy had no sense of smell, no sense of direction and the crackles of thunder overhead were becoming more frequent. Still, there was not better way to lose yourself than at sea.

Hai!

The black male spoke, but came along, still in his lupus form. Liev found swimming in their most basic form rather awkward and slow, so he avoided it. Even so, once inside the water, he focused in getting to the penguin and return as quick as possible.

The thunders began to roar louder and louder, and the aprehension in him grew steadily. he himself, knew the very worst side of storm, and he knew it after feeling it with his own body. The General was often severe on all of the creatures to test them and see if they were worthy of residing in this planet, as well as the driest and hottest of summers. Those were all tests, and until now, he had proved himself by enduring all of them. And now, the sea seemed to wish to throw his own test on both the warriors. Which wasn't very pleasant-sounding.

Luckily, he made it to the corpse not too later on, but he wished to find where Theodore was before returning. He would certainly feel bad if he was the only one coming back ashore. Just doesn't seemed fair. They weren't in a race, after all!

He kicked his feet furiously, trying to keep as much of his body outside the water, purple eyes scanning the dark water in search for an even darker spot in the waves, two blue flashlights glued in said form.

Unfortunately, he couldn't find him. He frowned at that, but glanced to the sky, and shivered. It was pitch black, and he could still see the sun. Not good. Oh, so not good!

Sadly, he couldn't help but to aim back ashore. Knowing storm so well, he could tell this was going to be a nasty one for sure. His survival instinct was stronger than the will to help the other male. And it sure was strong. In the same way he swam until here, he swam back to the beach.

Once safe on shore, he dropped the penguin near his objects, rather carelessly. The Russian was now safe, so the will to find the other Anatheman took over him, and from atop the boulder, purple orbs searched furiously for any signs of the male. The foreigner bit his lower lip, aprehension taking over him. Where was Theodore?!

He'd lost Liev. Well, it wasnt exactly difficult to lose someone in the ocean, but he'd still expected to keep an eye on the Russian. He didnt know which way the man had gone, nor did he really see where the penguin was either. But the current against his body, threatening to tug him further and further out to sea now they'd gotten past the point where the to currents met, had brought a smile to the warriors face. The utter uncontrolled manner to which his body was flung back and forward was exhillerating if not terrifying. And the fear was also what placed a smile on the mans lips. He wanted to lose himself, wanted to know that maybe some day his body would be washed ashore, chunks taken from it in a wild manner. Of course, the young warrior was neither suicidal nor sadistic- he was just a little loopy right now. Blue eyes blinked as he pushed these thoughts from his mind.

The flash of black and white in the air made him look up and out to sea. Not too long away was the airborne body of the penguin, a long grey arm attached to a foot. Liev had reached it first and he waved the body in the air like a rag doll beacon. It was gone again, but now Teddy had his bearing. Plunging once more into the ocean Teddy made his way swiftly over to the Russian. They trod water for a moment as Teddy looked around. The current hadnt took them too far away from the shore and if he squinted Teddy could still see Liev's backpack on the rock they had been sat on. That was okay. The crack of thunder and the soft splashing of rain on the ocean brought their situation to light.

"I think its time for us to go back- the storm looks like its about to break on our heads."

Teddy shouted over another crack of thunder. The dismal day was alight with the flash of lightening and Teddy could see the whites in the Russians purple eyes as he looked at the man for a moment. Right in that moment, Teddy trusted the man. He'd come swimming in the ocean, in the middle of a storm, against his better judgement. And because Teddy had asked him to. A long hard stare made Teddy sure that Liev had agreed and Teddy turned and struck for shore. Hoping beyond doubt that the Russian was with him, Teddy made a beeline for the shore. He would be out and dry soon- although they would have to head for home pretty soon so they didnt get lost in the storm.

I'll just rply as if I hadn't edited the other post, k? :<

Once they met again, the waves pulling them up and down, the black man agreed to leave the sea. He then stared deep into the Anzu's eyes, and a small glint in them told the gray man he was beginning to trust the other. And the purple-eyed man couldn't be more happy for that. Ever since they had met, the black man had treated the other with disaproval, at best. If not in a rather hating manner, that is. Seeing the black warrior was beginning to trust the older man... it sure made him glad. One could say that if you could make friends with theodore, you could make friends with anyone.

The gray male, for being in a bigger form, and also for his swimming style, he quickly reached the shore, water dropping from his thick pelt like small waterfalls, before drying into multiple drops sinking in the soft sand. He rested his hands on the floor and whipped his pelt back and forth, trying to get rid of at least part of the water. With a small sneeze, thanks to the salty water on the sensitive skin on his nosetrils, he turned around to check if theodore was close. Nothing.

Oh, crap.

The man kept on searching, purple eyes seriously worried for the other. Now that he was on dry land, the Russian could truly look for the Marbas. He ran up the boulder they had been sitting on not long ago, and began to scan around the water. Just where was him?!

ooc;; yeah that kind of makes sense <333

He had shifted forms when he first jumped into the ocean, copying Liev so that it was easier to swim out towards the penguin. He was finding it a great help now. The storm was beginning to upset the sea- the Sea Mother roaring her disgust at the sky and throwing her waves around like the angered ruffles of a skirt. And there were stil two wolves caught in the middle of her angry skirt-throwing. Teddy had succeeded in catching the Russians eye and they had struck for shore without further adue. Liev hadnt replied, knowing that they were caught out in the storm with only a few minutes to get ashore. They ricked everything out here and Teddy knew that if Liev didnt make it back it would be on his shoulders for the rest of his life.

A large wave rose up and blocked his view of the Russian. He wasnt too worried at this point, they were close to the shore and Liev was a strong swimmer. However, when the wave crashed on his head and sent him in a spinning circle that competely disorientated him, Teddy felt an unfamiliar twist of fear in his gut. Not usually one to freak out or get scared, the current dragging him under was truey terrifying. Trying to calm himself Teddy struck for the surface. He had reached the shelf of the shore- a few metres out and still deep enough for him to stay under. The rock was coarse and there were many folds in the rock that could catch someone.

Teddy had been too preoccupied with the changing current to notice when his foot lodged into one of these folds. Aready starved of air from his free fall in the waves Teddy fought hard when his lungs began to burn. He was yanked back hard by the trapped foot, the surface only an arms length away. Desperately thrusting his white gloved hand out of the water Teddy made to try and get Liev attention before the lack of oxygen to his brain made that arm fall short. Suspended in the current his unconscious form lay, small bubbles rising from his mouth and nose.

hehehe

A huge wave seemed to overwhelm the form of the black male for a second, but the grayish man believed he would surface in no time. However, the seconds passed quite slower, but then he saw a quick white flash on the water, before it disappeared in the wild waves. Then nothing.

No.

No, no, no, no, NO!! The man kept on muttering inside his head, purple orbs open widely. Then, his good sense and survival knowledge couldn't wait any longer for the other, knowing it was too much of a time for someone to be underwater.

In a gray flash, he raced to back to the water with long steps, feet sinking in the sand deeply. In a jact, he was inside the water, and swam to the point where the other was last seen. It wasn't that far from the bottom, but then a black form was seeable from the deep of the water, though rather blurry. The salty water was burning his eyes, but he didn't mind. Theodore's life was far more important.

With quick, strong legs, he pushed himself deeper into the wild currents, fighting to keep a steady path. Once close enough, experient eyes searched for the source of his trapping, and found out it was the folds from some rocks on the sea bed.

He hold onto one of those folds with one hand, careful not to get trapped as well, and worked on his feet as quickly as possible. His lungs were beggining to complaing for the lack of air, but he could bear it a bit more. As soon as the Marbas' foot was loose, his lungs ad begun to almost shriek for the so much needed oxigen.

Using the sea floor, he pushed himself upwards with his legs, one of his arms holding Theodore's limp body onto his side, the other hand helping the legs to get him out. The closer he got to the surfacde, the worse the pain in his chest. However, when his eyes were beginning to flatter as well, he was out, and gasped loudly, hungry lungs swallowing as much air as possible, before coughing a bit of the salty, yucky water.

Finally, he brought his legs and single arm to push hismelf back to the shore. Luckily, it wasn't too far, and the current was almost helping him back.

With aa most relieved sigh, the Russian crawled back ashore, fur once again dripping water. This time, though, he did not waisted time to shake the liquid off. He rolled the black warrior to his side. Quick movements came almost instinctively to him. First, he placed his head side to his chest, hering. His heart was beating, but his lungs had a bit of water on them, and strugged to breath to it. The older man held one of his palms in the middle of Theodore's chest, the other above it, fingers enlacing together, and with steady, strong pushes, he forced the chest up and down 5 times each, then proceeded to hold the others's nosetrils closed while breathing the from his own lungs into the dark man.

How could Theodore be so reckless?!? So stupid, so careless, so--! The Russian regreted to accept that stupid idea. Good grief, the warrior should have known better! If the passed out Anatheman did not wake up, Liev wouldn't be able to forgive himself. He should have stopped him, talked some sense into him. They shouldn't have got into the sea.

"C'mon, Theodore. Don't you die on me, lad!" He spoke while pumping on his chest, purple eyes desperate to see any sign of him getting back to his senses.

ooc;; powerplay permitted, due to the fact that teddy is unconscious! <333

The numb tendrils of unconsciousness rubbed his body and his mind. He couldnt think, he couldnt breath and he knew he was dying. There was far too much water in his lungs and the desperate need to breath dragged more water in. If he wasnt drowning, he would have laughed at how ironic drowning was. He was dying because of his desperate need to live- the need to live had him dragging in deep breaths of water, and thereby choking and drowning him. Of course, he was past conscious thought at this point, his eyes closed and his body limp. He thought he felt a tug at his foot and then he was floating. Up and up. He thought of Demi for a moment and the panic gripped him once more. He had lost his mind the day before and she seemed downright terrified of him. Would he never see her again?

Cold air embraced him and he shuddered as his mind brought images of golden gates. He should have known then that he wasnt dead- there was no way he was going to heaven when he finally popped his clogs. He didnt think about this though as he body appeared to be flying through the air. He almost whined when roughness ground against his legs and back- little did he know that it was the sand of the shore that Liev had dragged him up on. He didnt think heaven was supposed to be filled with bad feelings, mostly the rough scratching on his body and the thick ache in his chest that still remained even though he was free of his mortal body.

Sharp stabs on his chest, a new pain that felt surpisingly good began to bring the water trapped in his lungs up and out. It dribbled down the side of his face, not enough to say that it had all come out. When his nose was squeezed shut and the Russian pushed air into his waterlogged lungs, Theodore felt himself slipping from the golden gates. Blue eyes were still closed but as he felt himself crash back to earth they snapped open. Natural instinct took over and his back bowed, body arching. His chest jerked roughly and immediately he started to cough and splutter. When enough water had been expelled he took a deep ragged breath. His throat was scratchy and horrible, but he looked up at the Russian man with respect in his eyes.

"Liev... you saved my life... Thank you..."

He managed to croak out, the pain in his throat akin to the large amount of salt water swallowed. His chest burned from the pumping Liev had given him and the strain of waterlogged lungs. He sat up slowly, hand massaging his chest as he glanced back up at the man. He guessed he could grow to like him one day.

Sorry for the lateness... Blame the PC that crashed... >~>

Finally, Liev felt that the air he was pushing down Theodore's throat push back off, the the black male's chest beneath him heaved up. When his back arched up, gasping for more oxygen, the Russian hoped off him and sat on the sand, the widest of smiles stuck on his lips.

Gratitude words came from the warrior's dry throat, and the grayish man simply nodded, the joy of not having to return home with the Marbas' dead body and having to mourn the lost of a great warrior made him happy as a summer day.

"Good grief, thanks heaven you're alive! I thought-- I--" He started, his voice coming as uneven as the black male's in front of him. "Don't you ever do that to me again!" He said, almost giggling, in the break of a nervous breakdown. Yes, he had been through that before, but right now, it had been his fault. He was the one to blame. Instead of stopping the other from that recklessness, from that... suicide!

He took sometime to calm hi breathing and heart beat, but finally, he got up, knees slightly trembling with the adrenaline still on his veins. "Let's go back? I don't wish to get caught up in this." He said taking a guilting glance at the dark clouds above their heads. The Russian stretched out one of his hands for the other, a kind smile on his face.

ooc;; so sorry for this! thread finished! don't forget to PM your points so i can add it up to the game! <33

His cest and throat ached severly and the young Marbas didnt think he would be able to speak for again for a few moments. The words spoken to the shepherd had taken it out of him. Laying on the beach, gazing up at the dark sky the young warrior didnt care much when the rain began to sting his eyes. Fur already soaking wet and saturated with water he didnt feel in on his skin but he could feel it on his eyes and on his nose. He knew they would need to move soon, to get back to the Anathema safehold and under the cover of the caves when the storm hit. But he couldnt move for the moment, his muscles screaming in protest whenever he considered moving. It was Liev trying to drag him up that finally made him sit. White gloved hand moved up to massage his throat whilst blue eyes and black ears looked up as the man spoke. The reprieve was touching and Teddy clapped a hand on the grey mans shoulders for reassurance.

"I'm sure you would've been fine without me..."

He husked, adding a very rare smile to let the man know he was joking. They both sat there for a moment, catching their breath and calming their beating heartbeats. It took these precious few moments for the thunder to crack overhead and the heavens to open. Still both soaking wet they probably didnt feel the rain pounding on their head until it drbbled down into their eyes and attempted to blind them. Liev, the smart one of the pair, stood and Teddy used the man as a leverage to drag himself up. He was shaky and the warrior hated this weakness. But the Russian spoke sense and the young warrior gave a nod of agreement.

"I think you're right... lets go home."

He offered with a soft rasp to his voice. It would take a little while for the salt tang in his throat to go and he wasnt lookig forward to digesting the salt water in his stomach. Leaning on the Russian's shoulder, he led them both back towards he caves, trying hard to ignore the pounding rain on thei heads.
