Jonathon was exploring Canada, and had been careful to avoid stepping onto packlands. But once pack made him curious. It smelled more of dog then it did wolf, which had intrigued the young male. He was technically part dog, despite how small that part of him was.

So, despite Howard's urging whispers about how he shouldn't, they'll kill him, and whatnot, Jonathon made the trek from his temporary home, a small den he'd found that smelled faintly of badger, towards the pack he'd heard called Cour des Miracles. Wasn't that a French name? Jonathon had never studied languages, finding them hard to learn with Howard constantly prattling about how Katzen meant bird and Je m'apelle meant 'I want to impregnate you'.

But names really were trivial things; it didn't matter what language it came from. But it seemed regal, and important. Something that was odd, considering that dogs were... Well, they were dogs. And dogs were lesser creatures, weren't they? That's what Jonathon had always been taught as a boy, that dogs were only created to be servants to humans, and eventually wolves. Coyotes were lesser than wolves, but better than dogs.

Hybrids were also something to be avoided as well, he had been told. But Jonathon supposed that he should keep those ingrained views silent, lest he anger someone in the pack. He really did not want to piss someone off after just having met them. It was very much a faux pas.

Upon reaching the spot where it smelled strongly of a male, the wolf and dog scent, Jonathon decided that he'd best stop. Sitting down in his Lupus form, he held his back straight and howled loudly, a call to the leader. He wanted to meet him and ask some things about the pack that was so interesting. After all, dogs and wolves together... That was an odd prospect for the male. So he would wait for the alpha, and figure out what questions to ask him.
