It had been two very long days, but the storm seemed to be dying down today. Although the winds were still harsh and the snow was still blowing, it wasn't as harsh as before, when it seemed like a hurricane had been blowing through Souls and destroying all in its path. Skye had been one of the first to get out of Sky's house - she was grateful to the girl for sheltering most of the pack, and would have to mention it to her later, but right now, she was worried about the animals in the stables.

Little did she know how much damage had been done there.

As she neared the stable, her paws marking prints in the snow only for them to be blown away by the harsh winds one second later, she noticed something was off; the stable inside was still and dark, and there was no scent of animals in there. She took a deep breath; the winds stung her nose, but she would have been able to scent if there had been horses and other livestock in the stables - the scents now were stale, like the animals had been missing for several hours.

In a panic, Skye rushed over to the large structure that Orin and Sky and Shaw had worked so hard in building; several of the boards to the entrance were missing, leaving a horse-sized hole in the stable wall. She peered inside it; the livestock was gone.

Skye let out a cry of distress; although the storm was lightening by each passing minute (finally), she was still worried for their livestock. What if they had, in their panic, run off a cliff into the ocean that bordered the Cercatori d'Arte territory? What if they ran into hostile pack territory and been killed? What if they had run away so far that they could never be found again? Skye forced herself to stop these thoughts and breathed deep again; the scents were only hours old. There would be time to find them.

It's round up time, lil' doggies!

Finally, Hell had started to thaw or at least stopped freezing over. The raging storm seemed to start loosening it's grip on 'Souls as the once pounding, blinding snow now started to come down in a less harsh manner, though still rather violent for everyday snow. Now fading tracks zigzagged through the snow as the multi hued man worked his way to Thornbury to inspect the damage and see if he could be of help. The images of those falling houses still lingered in his mind and worried him half to death that something had happened to someone. It was ridiculous to him that he was fretting over such seeing it was highly unlikely one was injured, but the emotion still ran strong just like it did a few days ago.

The sound of crunching snow filled the air mixing in with the still blowing wind as he continued on tracks still disappearing one by one in the ever deepening snow. A shiver swirled up his spine sending chilling signals up his arms and legs making the slight sound of chattering teeth fill the air for a few minutes before he got control of his mouth. Was it ever going to warm up?

Everything seemed so silent, so somber until an upset wail filled the air. Bao's ears pressed back then forward as the cry bounced off the dead trees eventually dying down to nothing more than the whistle of the wind. Frowning he moved faster the crunching sound now becoming frantic as he made way in the direction of the sound. What happened? What could possibly- No, couldn't be, right? Someone couldn't possibly be hurt, Shawchert always made sure that the pack was. Ohh, why was he letting all this worry go to his head?

A loud sigh of relief came from him as he made it to the stable seeing Skye, who appeared to be unharmed thankfully, but she looked greatly upset which did not ease his worry one bit.

“Hello? Is something wrong, what has happened?”

Sure, she likely didn't know who he was, but he was sure he knew who she was and at the moment he cared less about names and more about why the female was in such an upset state that she would cry out like that. Hopefully it wasn't anything all too terrible.
