ooc speech

He'd been told that his brother was here, in the pack that mom had helped to found. It had seemed so long ago that he'd followed her here, that he'd helped her with everything. The lands had changed much, it seemed. He stopped on the border, Liam at his side. He licked his lips nervously, wondering how Noah would react to seeing him here again. He hadn't seen his brother since he'd been kidnapped from Rugged Plateau. That had been a long time ago. That had been another life, it felt.

He nuzzled Liam, then lifted his head, letting a howl roll from his lips, calling for his brother. He wondered if they would recognize each other, if they would have anything in common. He wondered if his brother had gotten over the abuse from their father, if he still stuttered. He wondered if his brother had found a mate and had pups, or if he was still alone. He wondered if they would discuss their parents, or if they would ignore their shared heritage.

He nuzzled Liam again. The sun was hiding behind the clouds again, but it was fairly warm as compared to the blizzard of a few weeks ago. Liam squirmed away from his father and began exploring the immediate area.

He could say that he did feel safe in these lands, and that Jefferson gave him that chance that he could say that no one else gave him; he looked at him like a wolf that was still young and able to work. He had a rank, he had respect, he had friends and he had a mate. Everything that he could ever have asked for he had here. The silver tripod felt like borders where not hard enough work that he couldn’t do it, however he knew if he had any issues Jefferson was nothing more than a howl away. The fresh cut on his head stung with the cold air. Lifting his head up he picked up a scent, one that he thought would never get again. Hopping to the border the silver male looked at a ghost with his good eyes, a ghost and a child. ”Tal?” The male knew it was a question, but he had thought he would have stayed back in Unwritten to take care of mother, Noah always had that wonder bug, and Tal was always the good one to stay and take care of mother.

It was true; Noah was here. He looked vastly different, but it was him. Tal grinned, the last few years falling away as he bounded forward to nuzzle his brother. "Noah!" His voice was full of joy, his tail wagging rapidly. Tal couldn't quit grinning as he nuzzled his brother happily. "Jefferson told me you were here...I was afraid I'd never see you again. Where have you been? What have you been doing?" He stepped back far enough he could really see his brother, noting the missing ear and missing leg. Concern creased his brow. "What happened to you?"

Liam jumped, startled by his dad's sudden actions and loud voice. He cowered for a moment, then realized that he wasn't yelling at him. He stood back up, his face full of open curiosity as he eyes the one dad called Noah. He crouched between his dad's paws, staring at the male. Finally, he spoke. "I Liam. Dis my daddy. You look funny, missin pieces." Always blunt, the boy was, and shockingly curious. It would prove to be a problem when he grew up.

It was nice to see his snowy brother; he did not expect him to come to these lands anytime soon. Noah walked over to his brother and greeted him with a nuzzle while his tail wagged. It was always nice to see him, it was sad that he had to see him now after their father and his buddy had their way with him. The brother rattled off many question, Noah head was swimming he hated to talking more than he had to, the male chuckled as he looked down to the front paw that was still there. ”Dad, and sn..sn..snow.” He looked back up to Taliesin worry was spread over his face; Noah sighed as he gave a nip at his brother’s shoulder trying to cheer him up.

The young boy spoke, blunt just like Deuce. It was nice to know that Tal had a litter of his own, and yet here was Noah no closer to having a family then what he was a year ago. With a smile the male pushed his own misery out of his mind as he chuckled after the boy stated that Noah looked strange.”Don’t trust Sh…Sha…Shadows.” That all it really boiled down to, not trusting Lucifer, or any other things that went bump in the night. Looking back up to his white litter mate he milky eye rolled to the side as the unspoken stress made the muscle lose control of holding it in the place it needed to be, to match the sapphire eye.

He could see he'd overwhelmed his brother, and he slowed down his questions. It was like they were pups again, except for what had happened to Noah. And except that he had his own son to care for. He nuzzled his brother affectionately when he nipped his shoulder. His tail wouldn't stop wagging, though, not even when Liam spoke. Tal leaned down and gently cuffed the pup with a paw. "Don't be rude, Liam." The boy looked up at his dad, protesting the punishment.

Don't trust shadows? Liam looked at his uncle confused. But it made sense. Odadio had been a shadow, Azza had been a shadow...and when Mommy talked to the butterflies, they were shadows too. He nodded at his uncle, his blue eyes serious. "Shadows are bad."

Tal looked between the two, then spoke. "This is my son, Liam Rhiannon. He's almost three months old now."

Liam stared at his uncles eyes with fascination. The one moved on it's own. It was interesting to watch.

The milky blue eye was on its own shaking side to side, like it was trying to find something that just wasn’t there. Noah other eye, the working eye looked to the child with a smile as he gave him a playful nudge. Tal had always been the good child, do what he could to keep Noah in order, while making sure to please everyone that he was around. His head turning back up to look to his brother, with a soft chuckle as he gave a shake of his head.”He’s Fine.” Noah knew that children only knew how to say the truth, they didn’t mean to make it hurt with the words they say but it was the truth.

Looking back down to the child as he told Noah that in fact Shadows where bad, Noah only gave a nod. He knew that the child wouldn’t understand it all but he had no issues telling him later in life about the crimes against life that his grandfather had committed. Noah hoped that Tal would be better at watching over Liam and protecting him from the evilness better then what Noah was or better then what Lucifer had been able to do when he was the father they once had. ”Cute.” He said with a sigh, looking around. ”Dad..Mom?” He hated Lucifer, but he could never hate his father, the one that loved his mother, the one that was tender to her.

Liam sniffed at his uncle, tilting his head. Uncle Noah looked weird...but he was nice. Even if his eye moved differently from his other one. His tail wagged as the male nuzzled him, and he nuzzled back. Tal watched the two, smiling. When Noah asked about their parents, he could only shrug. He hadn't laid eyes on lucifer since the time the black male had tried seducing him....it was frightening that the male didn't remember his own offspring. And Mom had stayed in Rugged Plateau. Alley had told him so when he'd taken Kira's first two daughters to her to protect them. Layla and Kali.

"I haven't seen Lucifer in months...and last I knew Mom was still in Sahara's pack....I spent a lot of time elsewhere, though. With his mom, Kira." He gave a slight smile. "I did finally find Willow...she was taken in by Odadio's pack." He didn't know what had happened beyond all that, though, the split in her personality and all the other bizarre things his sister had been up to in his absence.

Noah was glad that the child had grown to like him, Noah wasn’t an over huge fan of pups. However, the male would not make a child find a cold shoulder from him on account of his feelings about them. The silver male watched the child and then looked up to his brother he was not about to keep a good eye on either or, he had only one good eye The white male had called their father by name “Lucifer” a part of him wanted to correct the white brother, but Noah knew just as well as that Lucifer was gone.

He gave a nod, thinking over what his brother said to him, it was not what he wanted to hear, but he would not have wanted his brother to lie to him. ”He’s here…” The silver male lowered his head and spoke with a whisper. He hated to say that...he did not want to say that but he had to admit that he was smelling him more and more around the pack lands, and had even picked up a little amount of the black males scent on Tala and Jace, that did not sit well with him what so ever. ”Pretty sure…” He hated knowing this, he did not want to admit to it but knew that he had to.
