Set in the vicinity of Ezekiel de le Poer's den, but Ezekiel is not necessary to move the thread forward. Talitha's come from a final visit with Enkiel Lykoi, so she's moving away from the D'Neville region.

Spring was coming, and morning was becoming a vague routine that Talitha followed purely to get through the day. Her sudden desire to run away from Inferni had been sated with her exploits to the mountains and the Dampwoods, through meeting her uncle Samael and the handsome Caillen. She'd returned, only a little worse for wear, to the cousin who had cared for her wounds after the accident. Visiting Enkiel had become as much of a routine as waking up; her morning started with a trip to the D'Neville guest house before her activities began.

The exotic jackal had left his cousin in a state of silent admiration. His intelligence was clear, at least in the path of medicine that he'd chosen, and she enjoyed watching him work. Of course, she knew it would come to an end. Her reason for going to see him had finally mended into solid bone once more; the delicate cage that housed her lungs and heart no longer ached except in moments when the cold seeped beneath her fur. As she exited the room he'd taken as his, she realized it was the last time she'd need to visit. Her morning would have to start somewhere else.

Into the snow she ventured, trying to think of where to go next. Ezekiel was the only one she ever wanted to see, but she didn't like to crowd her asocial brother; even if he didn't say anything, she felt like dead weight in his life. While she didn't plan to see the golden de le Poer, she started in the direction of his cave. All paths that lead to Ezekiel's home were familiar to the feet of his russet twin. It was natural for her to seek him out, after all those months of running from him.

When the den came into sight, she hesitated. The tracks that had led her to that point stopped short. She was unsure if she wanted to see him, after fleeing their home once again, even if it was only for a day. Talitha hadn't kept a personal promise to treat Inferni like the home it was. Again, she'd left, only to find herself in the comforting company of the gentle wolfdog. Her return had been undesired, but it was Ezekiel who had drawn her back to the clan. In silence, her mind changed. Her body dropped into the snow, legs curling beneath her body as she sat and stared at the grey-blue sky. Her crimson eyes filled with bubbling distress, not easily hidden by other emotions while she waited for a sign.

"What am I supposed to do? Do you have plans for us? Ezekiel says you do," she whispered, talking to the invisible God she'd adopted as her own. Her family all believed, but she had never been the sort to pray or speak to the divine until that moment. Her own weaknesses had pushed her to the point of desperation. She needed guidance, and a sturdy hand to hold her.

A tree a solid tree was what the woman called home. She had no will power to find a home for her own at the moment. She knew very little of the customs here and did not intend to disrupt anyone. She had respect to a degree. Maybe someone who knew the pace better could help her.

Spring would come someday she figured when had she left her home and how different were the seasons here. So any questions laced her mind as the golden fea stood up on the branch. She had only been here days but she was quite happy to have dry clothes as she pulled them from a branch above. "Dry at last."

She looked at the ground and smiled leaping down on to the ground clothes in hand bag on her shoulder. Placing her bag on a low branch she smiled. Pulling on her pants she just quietly enjoyed the bliss of the moment. She ran a hand across her chest and sighed. The only thing that saddened the rock was her lost mate and daughter. Fire burned in her eyes she had killed the two responsible her own siblings had killed her family trying to start an uprising.

Getting a grip on herself she looked at the shirt in her hand new clothes that should be on the list too. A home some food and new clothes these things meant nothing to her anymore. She used to hold the rank they represent but now there was no rank there was no anything she was here a member until she could move up in the ranks.

Finally the golden female pulled it together to put her shirt on and she fixed her hair. braiding it she smiled all together. She'd be heading out for a mission to protect her pack but not now not ever she thought she was on a mission for a home. Pulling out of her bag her necklace she put it on. "Where to start/" She asked herself

Ehrm. Sorry 'bout the length on this one. Angsty.

Her eyes fell back to the snowy ground. As she expected, there was no answer. Her God, the God of her father and beautiful brother, had forsaken her. No comfort came. She was alone, with only the golden prince she knew as a brother to offer love to his sorrowful russet twin.

A choked sob escaped a tense maw, delicate rust hands raising to cover the creme expanse of her lower face, like blood marring snow. Sharpened claws dug into the flesh; a crimson flash, and her blood spilled onto the ground in bright patterns. It hurt, but it distracted her from the loneliness that had welled up in her chest. Loneliness that infected her thoughts. It changed everything. Never before had her mind turned down the halls that had opened up. Never before had she seen her brother or father in the light that had been placed upon them. The realization that her love had transcended simple birth obligations left her nauseous. Gabriel was easier to overlook, the emotionally neglecting father whom she didn't seek out for audience, but Ezekiel was different. Her brother had turned everything inward. His return had made her world spin on end, any semblance of confidence collapsing inward on itself. With Ezekiel, she needed nothing else.

That wasn't how it was supposed to be. He was supposed to offer stability, to help her heal. Stinging tears welled up against a ruby background at the thought that he had only made things worse. It was too late now, of course. She couldn't let him leave her again, and she couldn't run away from him, not at the risk that he might follow. Inferni was his home, and hers; she had been comfortable within it before, and she knew she would be comfortable within it then, once the confusion surrounding her own emotions cleared. If it cleared. If not, she was sure she'd be doomed to a life of envy as her brother lived what he deserved. Normalcy. The chance to be with his family, and the chance to find lovers and someone he could use to replace her.

Her mortified sobs were silent. Replaced. She didn't want to think of the future, but it dawned on her that they would need to replace her. Some day, sooner than anyone expected. She didn't believe she'd survive the world she hated much longer. And then what? The russet queen would burn with the rest of them, with the horrible spawn that had been sent to Hell to suffer for their sins in life. She was no better than they were, lusting after a brother who deserved better and spending emotion selfishly on her own comfort. A wolf by birth, cursed with the vile sickness born to her Godly father as well. Filth. The silent word struck her like a slap, her clawed fingers falling from her muzzle; more blood trickled forth, staining the creamy fur that separated her lower jaw from the rest of her mouth.

Disoriented, she stood. She couldn't stay there, risking the sudden surprise of her honey prince finding her; no, she had to leave. The coyote stumbled in attempts to find her way back to where she'd come from, or to her own den, and ended up somewhere in between. Subdued hysteria threatened to break through, skin crawling as she worried she'd be found. At a new scent on the air, she knew she would be.

The breeze brought news of another female, no so tainted by the kingdom of her residence that it clung to her. Talitha tried, to no avail, to hide the morbid distress that coated her features. Bloodied hands wiped at drowned eyes, smearing more of the viscous crimson across her features, and her expression fell blank. Of course, it was always her eyes that gave her away. They screamed 'help' to the world she wanted nothing to do with while searching for a new face. Black-rimmed ears swiveled to the sounds of the lands. Words came to her attention, a head turned, and there it was. The stranger she'd been seeking, fastening something about her neck. The russet lady crossed her arms beneath her sickly ribs, gaze focused entirely on the golden coy before her. For a brief moment, she wanted to run, but she knew better.

"Where to start what?" she called, pushing curling auburn locks away from her face.

this shall be fun

Aeron was never one to start war she was a women of higher standards she was taught to kill only when told. She wasn't sure how her life had changed since she lost her mate and baby. She Could only hope that she would not become soft and fall for everything and anything. She shrugged letting the thought fall to the way side as she got the rest of her stuff together.

Aeron was a trained and skilled killer from birth she was raised and when the scent of blood hit the air she was alert. Her mind wandered to who it could be and if they were hurt. Though should she care she had met no one but Sage and that girl was odd. Adjusting the strap on her bag a women appeared into her vision. She seemed odd and the scent flowed from her like water.

Before she had a chance to ask if she was alright the girl spoke. "Oh my life here where to start I just joined I don't know where I could live and I don't know what I could do o aid." she said her voice always sounded harsh and not very forgiving no matter how hard she tried. She was kinder towards women at first she was raised to be polite to women men not so much.

Watching the girl she looked at her. "Are you alright can I help you, you don't look so well. Areon said as she stepped closer. The girl looked like most of the yotes in her pack but her demenor an the look just reminded her of her mate. The girl was delicate not made to kill like aeron she was easy to upset and was easy to read through the eyes. It was always the eyes that gave females away well anyone that could understand.

Sorry for the wait!

The golden creature she had spotted seemed to catch a glimpse of the frantic Lykoi, as Talitha noticed her eyes upon her once she caught sight of the stranger. A simple stranger, no more and no less, but perhaps a member of her mighty kingdom. The Imperium shifted her weight to her feet and stood taller, trying to appear composed before questions floated around about her awkward appearance. She spoke first. The answer was prompt. As Talitha had suspected, she was simply new, and wondering what to do with herself now that her place had been secured within the skull-lined borders. The russet female's black-rimmed ears cupped forward to listen, and to ponder. She could help, she was sure; she knew Inferni quite well.

Of course, before she managed to offer aid, the stranger moved in on her disheveled looks. Talitha's ears fell back, embarrassed that it had been noticed. Delicate hands wrung together out of anxiety and distress. She was strong. She could endure. She would have never allowed another soul to catch her in such a state, but it couldn't be helped. "Yes. Fine." Not known for prolix sentences, she remained short in her response. Details were left clouded in mystery, uncomfortable with the idea of the stranger knowing her problems. Instead, she tried to turn the topic back to the golden woman herself.

"Perhaps I can help you find a place to live and purpose. Inferni has been my home since birth, and I know it very well," she offered. It was true that Talitha had left and returned on many occasions, but Inferni hadn't changed much. It was still home, and it was still the same and she appreciated that. Change was pain. Especially to the weak mind of the Aquila's daughter. A quick shake of the head, tossing auburn curls about her face, and she offered the woman a smile. "My name is Talitha Lykoi. Welcome to Inferni."

Aeron was glad at the news that the woman would be able to help her find a place to stay. The girl knew the area she said so herself and budding up with someone could prove to be useful. She stepped closer a smile on her face. Well thank you I'll be glad for your help" She said

Areon smiled more, the girl didn't seem as bad off as she thought. "its nice to meet you Aeron Ganesa" She said. her mind wandered to where she could live and how she could get her life straight. Are there any houses from humans here or how does most of the pack live? I like to be alone most of the time after all I have no family here." she said. She wasn't trying to be weird but she also didn't want to deal with being surrounded by a bunch of others.

She looked the girl more over so far she had only met a few one odd girl and Talitha. She was better not smoking that disgusting smelling thing. Well I'm a fighter so maybe there's something i could do to help.

She seemed to appreciate Talitha's offer for help, and it caused the Lykoi woman to feel momentary elation at the prospect that someone in the entirety of Inferni actually appreciated her existence. A faint smile crossed creme lips as she bobbed her head to the female's words of thanks. Help was all she could really be useful for. Black-rimmed ears twisted to hear the name given upon introduction; Aeron Ganesa, something different from the monikers used within the clan. Most of her extended pack members were of the same blood as she, Lykoi by descent of Kaena.

The questions asked about residency seemed common enough; where there houses from humans? How did the rest of the clan live? Talitha gave a shrug of her bony shoulders. "There's the manor, in the Forest of Nod. We have other buildings as well; two, on the western side of the land. I live in the caves, with my father, uncle and cousins. Plenty live in D'Neville, though." Crimson eyes, more red from crying than usual, turned toward the east in search of the forest against the flat Wastes. Located within the trees was the place she once had called home, where most of the non-Lykois remained. Cotl was there, and she knew that Halo resided within the halls as well. Gabriel had hoped his mother would also live within the walls, after the storm.

A toss of her auburn curls brought her attention back to the golden female before her. Unlike she, the Ganesa had no family within the borders, but seemed to have skills necessary for the clan's betterment. A warrior. Like her uncle and cousin, like her brother would be. "Warriors are always welcome, at least in my eyes. My father leads us well." She couldn't say that her father was a monster, though she knew it to be true.

Aeron smiled "I don't think that I want to stay where there are others. I'm kind of a loner in ways." She said as she looked at her. She wasn't sure she wanted to be surrounded by others who would make her nervous and not comfortable.

Aeron sighed and thought to herself. Aeron wasn't really ready to go out and be yay lets be all buddy buddy with everyone. She looked at the woman with reddened eyes. "Well I hope you don't mind helping me I could really use it." She was ready to go and see what there was to offer. She needed a place to call home so that she could start to forget.

Like Talitha, Aerona appeared solitary once comfortable in a social setting. At least, her comment of the mansion brought the hidden de le Poer to believe such a thing. She hadn't wanted to live in the mansion after a while herself; too many people, not enough privacy. Gentle, awkward laughter escaped the mouth of the Lykoi. "Yes, I can see where that would cause problems." She tossed auburn curls out of her face. "Those who live in the building are distasteful anyways." The words didn't exclude Kaena, but the granddaughter didn't think to rectify that at the moment. No one else could hear the words, after all.

The sigh drew Talitha from thoughts she found unpleasant, and crimson eyes returned to the golden body of the coyote. "Of course I don't mind helping. I offered, after all." It was a firm mention; she had offered, and she was not prepared to turn down a request for help. The Ganesa female's lack of sociability, however, didn't leave many options. Silently, she pondered the lands. An idea struck her. "We have other buildings. They don't have occupants." The gas stations on Devil's Demesne.
