The clearing of the tree from the roof of the lodge had given him an idea. Even though the wood was larger than what he was used to working with but it had been able to be cut still. So if it could be cut into smaller pieces then that meant that it could also be shaped. He really wasn't used to working with a medium that didn't fit easily into his hands but he was willing to try it at least. He remembered some trees that had been felled in the woods that would probably work for what he had in mind.

He made his way to where he remembered the fallen trees to be on the ground. Now while he had the idea in mind he wasn't certain of the exact way to go about this. His knife wouldn't be able to get rid of the bark so that he could get to the soft wood beneath it in order to be able to carve into it. That was a bit of a dilemma right there. But maybe the other craftsman had something that would help, or even Shaw since he had been the one that Ouija had worked with to clear the roof.

He sent up a howl to attract the two males to where he was at. After all he had the vision but he simply couldn't put it into action alone. He needed something more than he had in order to cleave away the back to leave a smooth surface to work upon. He just hoped that the other two would know what to do in this case. To see just what they thought about what he had in mind. It would certainly bring them together to be able to work on the same project at the same time.

WC: 343 OOC: Whee for woodworking!

Shawchert was nearly done with Bao’s flute which was a good accomplishment considering how little he got to carve these days. He was sitting on his and Sky’s porch as usual, though he would much rather be inside, it felt too cramped as he had to lean forward to even stand, it was a pain, how could humans be so darn small? He didn’t mind being outside though, if he could remember from what he’d read, all wild wolves had stayed outdoors their whole lives with little more than a hole in the ground as a home, so just reminding himself how far they came and that he had his own place was nice. He was putting on some finishing touches when he heard the howl come his way, requesting him and Bangle. Strange, Shaw thought, but as any good leader he would oblige, and put the flute inside the house before making his way into the forest.

What he saw was not entirely what he expected. Ouija was standing next to a few fallen trees in the middle of the forest. Ouija had not been one for woodworking so it was curious as to why he waited by a pile of dead trees.

Hello Ouija, what can I help you with?

That’s what Shaw suspected the colorful man wanted, although he was not painted in usual colors, Shaw would probably give him his store of dye that he tended to keep hidden though nearly lost in the storm. He watched Ouija, pretty sure the other male was waiting for Bangle, whom he had called as well and stood patiently, though curious about what this whole thing was about. He tried rolling it through his mind but couldn’t see what this was about, he was sure that clearing logs was for paths and such, did Ouija want to make a path somewhere? Or maybe even firewood? There tended to be a lot less wood prepared for such things since the storm had hit. Whatever the case Shaw was sure to help out.
