OOC: Location ends up at Witch's Cauldron Smile Anyone is welcome, but I'd prefer only 1 or 2 people. I'm better in one on one or small groups. Zeb is in lupus form, and doesn't really like using any others. Also, sorry if this sucks. I'm not too good at opening posts.

From beneath a light layer of snow, two small brown eyes suddenly fluttered open giving the impression of some sort of snow beast. Zebedee was more than impressed when he awoke to discover his current predicament. He had traveled so far in the days preceding that he must have collapsed in a heap. Oh, and he must have been so out of it that he let himself get coated with the recent snowfall. He had no idea how long he was out for, but he knew it must have been a great while. He was built for the cold, and yet this chill had been present long enough that it had seeped straight into his bones. It was bordering on painful. He let out a soft grunt and allowed himself to slowly rise into a sitting position, snow cascading all around his broad frame. He felt stiff- moving almost hurt him.

He took this time to shake the rest of the snow from his fur, coming to a stand in the process. He also took a moment to lick snowflakes from his stubby whiskers with his darkly colored tongue. He dropped into a full stretch, groaning at how his young body seemed to resist him. Alright, that was enough time waking up. He may hurt, but he was ready for the day. He climbed out of the small impression his lupus body had made in the snow, taking in a big gulp of the morning air. The scenery was truly beautiful to him as he peered around- he had a soft spot for the winter. It reminded him of the short time he got to spend with his mother. "Here I come," He warned the world aloud. And then he began to trot forward, tail wagging halfheartedly against his back. His mood was beginning to elevate naturally, despite the loneliness that had nagged at his heart when he awoke. It was a new day. He was ready to take it on.

That trot soon developed into a full run, fired by his growing enthusiasm. Even if he was alone again today, he was going to keep moving. Who knew what the future held? He ran a good distance before he suddenly stopped short, stumbling over his paws until he fell face first to the ground. He let out a loud, audible gasp. He had seen something strange. He scrambled back to his feet, his maw cracking open in shock and awe. What was this place? His eyes seemed to become alight with puppish wonder, despite his age.

Before him rolled the ocean. He had lived in the forest his entire life (not counting the times he had spent roaming the abandoned human areas), and had never wandered in the direction of the coast before. He had never seen a beach before in all of his young life. He felt the excitement spark through his entire body, as if he were suddenly being shocked. He took a few cautious steps forward, and then bounded toward the coast, paying little mind to the rocks pricking at his pawpads. He couldn't suppress a yelp as the ice cold water washed over his lower legs, and he took a leap back. And then he was grinning.

He took some time to play in the water, splashing and chasing the waves- running when they chased back. Soon enough he was tired of this, however, and decided to continue his explorations. As he padded carefully across the sharp rocks, eyes taking everything in, he eventually came across a stretch of sand. The stretch was curved, and bordered by rather tall cliffs. He hurried forward excitedly, eager to play on this new shoreline.

But as said before, Zeb had no prior knowledge in regards to the ocean, and he was too distracted to notice the waves growing in height. High tide was approaching.

Hope you don't mind me joining! It's Siku's first time seeing the beach too!

It was a good day in the eyes of Siku, the alabaster beauty who could not seem to sate her passion for exploring. Siku had woken up and begun her day like any other in Dahlia De Mai, first finding something to eat and then searching for something to do. Exploring was always on the back of her mind. Feeling a little pent up though she had only returned home days earlier, the golden eyed woman was already debating leaving again. A little over a year old, Siku lived a life of many sights already and in her short life had traveled far. Born in the true North; above the Arctic circle, it took months of exploring and travel for Siku to make it so far East. Such a feat required determination, wit and a good amount of curiosity as well as hunting skills. It was a challenge Siku was glad to pursue, and after settling into her new pack the petite luperci was ready for more.

Though there was a light flurry of snow fall as Siku set out that morning, to the Dahlian's delight the weather only improved as she trotted on. The azure sky cleared, and the fluffy white princess liked to think that maybe Mother Nature was easing up on the devastating cold just for her. Wide set paws easily gliding over the crisp snow, Siku noticed with intrigue that the ground began to change, the snow was not so deep and the air was less cold, yet so humid. Slender pale muzzle in the air, Siku's small black nose twitched in the chilled air as she traced the strangest smell, one that had been bothering her for awhile. It was extremely faint in the past, but as Siku moved farther south she found she could almost taste it. Salt.

Golden eyes staring dreamily up at the sky, Siku enjoyed the change in surroundings as she walked a little slower, leisurely. It was as if her whole world changed, and the young she-wolf did not notice until her paws hit sand. Sand. Siku recognized the word, knew with a general concept what it was, but never had the alabaster explorer actually felt it beneath her paws. White paws curiously sinking into the cold, snow littered sand Siku comically froze in mid stride. Delicate featured face slowly angling down, the Dahlian gave a small gasp of wonder as she slowly padded forward. The frost made the sand she'd just come across chill her paws, but Siku bounded forward in excitement as she kicked up the stuff and danced around. It was like tiny, tiny hard snowflakes, and even better it never melted! It sunk into her paws, between her toes, and it made Siku want to giggle madly. Long, toned but stiff legs stretched and loosened up as Siku bounded across the sand, like a puppy again as she stopped to roll about in the soft ground. Suddenly, in her giddy stupor the Dahlian finally recognized the scent of another wolf above the smell of salt. Rolling quickly back onto her belly, the small woman glanced around with suspicion as she stood again.

"I can hear you out there!" She cried bravely, not whole heartedly expecting anyone to answer. Taking a few steps forward, rounded white ears swiveled left and right as Siku turned her head around in search of other life. With another gasp, Siku cringed and drew back as her eyes caught an amazing sight: Water, lots of water! LOTS of water! The white wolf stared at the ocean with wonder and complete awe for a moment, tiny jaw hanging open. It was still in the distance, but Siku could see it so clearly, it was huge! Like a gigantic lake, her mother had told her. A gigantic salty lake. "Is this real?" Siku mumbled to herself stupidly, not completely aware of her legs carrying her nearer to the fantastic body of water that just blew her simple mind. As she drew closer though, Siku paused again as she caught sight of someone else. So she was right! Ears flicked forward as Siku drew herself up higher, sharp eyes narrowing with caution. Who was it? There was always time to run, but Siku did not want to do such a thing. Especially when the stranger might know more about this big lake!

After a moment of staring, Siku slowly crept closer to the creature curiously. Dog, wolf, coyote? It could have been anything, but Siku could smell a mix of Dog and Wolf she assumed would be the form in the distance. Then as she became close enough to see the stranger clearly, a wide grin stretched across her lovely face. It was so fluffy! Siku's long, thick tail began to swing back and forth as she suddenly became eager to meet the soul who possessed such an intriguing coat of fur. Siku did not know who the soul was; he could have been a murder or a rapist; but be damned if she was to let him walk away without letting her touch that fur! The strange girl wanted to bury her face in his neck and hug him until he couldn't breathe. Though the Dahlian had never come across a toy in her life, at that moment it was as if she was a child who had been given her first teddy bear ever.

"HEY! HEY YOU!" Siku howled, sitting on her bum in the sand. If the fluff wanted to meet her as well, she would allow him to approach her. As she drew near, the white she-wolf found herself losing the bold mentality upon seeing his size (Siku now recognized the stranger as a male). Siku was still dead set on becoming acquainted, but she didn't want his teeth to be getting acquainted with her face. No, she planned on being great friends with the wonderful creature standing not too far off. With barely contained patience, the she-wolf watched the strange male eagerly and hoped he had heard her howl of friendly greeting.

OOC: Not at all! Thanks for the interest Smile It will be an exciting day for them both, then. Haha.

The poofy creature was peering down at the sand- he had seen thin layers of silt be the creeks, but never anything quite like this. It was so- grainy. And it totally collapsed under his paw. He took a few moments to stomp along it, and then go back to peer at his paw prints. Wow! It was fascinating. He also liked the way it felt against and between his pads. Almost... Scritchy. He barely suppressed his doggy instinct to roll in it. He suddenly froze in midstep, his head jerking to face behind him. "Ahh~?" Had he heard something...? He stood perfectly still for a few seconds, listening.. And then bounded back towards the water. Enough caution, time for a little more play.

He didn't go in too far, just letting the water wash up against his forelegs, watching intently as it rolled back out. He had never seen a lake before even- he had no idea a body of water this big even existed! He lowered his muzzle to sniff at the wet sand.. Weird smell. As the water came back up, he lapped up a bit of it. His stomach immediately turned. "UGH!" He scooted backwards, grimacing. That was the nastiest water he had ever tasted in his young life. He wiped at his muzzle with one of his front legs, tongue popping out in disgust. A shudder shook his entire frame- "A-yuck." He spat into the sand.

He was now just sitting in the sand, appreciated the chilly breeze on his face and the strange new roaring sounds that rumbled around him. It was so refreshing and new. He noticed the water was once again touching him, and looking down in confusion- had it rolled up further? This thought was broken when he heard a voice coming from behind him. His ears swiveled backwards, and then his head followed suit. He stood once he saw another creature, a soft excitement running through him. Someone new! He heartily shook himself, despite the only part of his fluff that was wet was on his legs. It felt like the right thing to do. It was giving him a bit of a chill now. His brown eyes lit up and his maw cracked into an animated grin, "Hey!"

He trotted over with thinly veiled enthusiasm, tail swishing back and forth almost wildly. It rose slightly off his back, making the motion a tad more noticeable. The concept of the female perhaps not being nice or even friendly never crossed his mind. The optimist beating in his heart beneath his shaggy exterior held an almost childish naivety that luckily had yet to bring him too much trouble.. But at the same time gave him to reason to doubt it. He skidded to a stop a bit infront of her, plopping himself down in the sand in an exaggerated manner, a tiny spray of sand surrounding him.

"Nice day, huh? Have you ever seen anything like this? I mean-" And with that he took a short minute to ramble in excitement, his front paws jittering with his enthusiasm. And then he stopped, giving an almost dopey grin, "Oh yeah, I'm Zeb. Who're you?" He might not be Mr. Manners, but he remembered the scolding he got from his prior group for not introducing himself. Besides, his interest in the beach now was turning towards the new being before him. He was genuinely interested in what she would say next. Had she seen something like this? Did she know what this was?... Oh, and what her name was of course. He had found calling people 'Hey you' was more troublesome than anything, so he was showing a newfound interest in what others called themselves. Maybe it was a sign of growing maturity, but who knows? The other female truly had nothing to worry about in him, however. The big goof had never harmed anyone in his life. He turned his ears towards her and grew silent, showing his interest right out. He was the type of mutt to wear his emotions straight on his face. He didn't even understand there was a concept that involved hiding them.

lol They are going to be so awesome together.

Siku tilted her head to the side slightly, the sun shining off her nearly translucent fur as she watched the fluffy thing with intense interest. The petite woman became slightly startled, the wolf almost seeming to barrel toward her in excitement. It was excitement, right? Siku felt a soft tug in her heart as she studied the male currently on his way to greet her back. It wasn't aggression though, it was definitely excitement! Siku's tail began to swish back and forth in the cold sand as she lifted a paw playfully to the stranger, her whole body jittery with nervousness and excitement. What would he say? What would she say? All such thoughts were sort of lazily skimming through the young she-wolf's head as the male finally sat down face to face with her. She didn't have to move, after all. Action duly noted for future encounters, the female nodded enthusiastically as the puff ball sitting in front of her plunged into conversation. She only had to howl, and she now had her poofy friend right where she wanted him.

"I know! I've never seen that water befo!-" The alabaster wolf shut her delicate maw politely, golden eyes fastened on the stranger as he rambled. It seemed as if she hung on every word, nodding every so often. There was so much to say and talk about! Siku glanced down at her feet and began to suck her paws into the sand slowly, pulling them out and pushing them back in as she listened. A thick round ear twitched as Siku caught his name, and she looked up at him with a grin that exposed her only physical flaw, her broken fang.

"My name is Siku." The white wolf leaned forward, golden eyes focused on Zeb with genuine seriousness. Though she was careful not to touch him, the white woman was nearly doing so as she spoke softly. "I have come here, to touch your fur." Siku leaned back after saying this, shaking her own fluffy head as she barked excitedly. "IT'S SO FLUFFY!" She then recovered, sighing and placing a paw on his shoulder as she attempted to speak seriously again. A little tingle went down her spine, and Siku's own fur stood on end as she fought the urge to giggle and hug him. He was just so soft! "It's true, it is. It is. Really fluffy. How come?" Siku grinned, pulling away again to place her paws on the sand again as she waited for his answer. Could she, too, have the coat of poof?

OOCtasties: Yaay :3

The fluffy creature canted his head to one side as she spoke, his rounded ears twitching back and forth. "Siku.." He repeated after her, as if trying to commit it to memory. He wasn't always the best with names, but he was trying to learn. He figured he would be able to remember her fairly well, however. She was the first wolf he had met in this new land- well, the first anything really. He idly watched the sun glint off of her coat, amazed at the purity of the color. He had never seen a wolf who was soo... White, before. His excitement was only fueled by her own, and he began to shift his weight back and forth to dispel some of the pent up energy. He was so happy to be meeting someone new, and she seemed pretty nice too. She didn't get mad at him for his rambling, after all. When he was with the older wolves, they were always scolding him and nipping his scruff when he got carried away like that.

His eyes did catch on her tooth for a moment, and he opened his muzzle to ask when suddenly the topic was changed to him. He quickly looked back up into her eyes, seeming startled at her sudden outburst. He leaned back a bit, ears fully erect- and then he settled right back down, smiling once again. "Ahh, yeah." He didn't often get many positive remarks about his coat, but then again he had spent most of his time around snarky old males. "It's okay if ya wanna touch it, I don't mind." He offered, allowing her paw to reach his shoulder to test out the floof.

His smile cracked back into a grin, and he offered a somewhat sheepish shrug of his shoulders. "I'unno, it's just always been this way. My mom's coat was never like this, so I'm guessin' it's like my dad's. But I'm not sure, never met 'im." He had no idea what his father had been or who he was, as his mother had carefully hidden her painful past from him. He lifted himself to his feet and dropped his front half forward as if stretching, rump in the air behind him. He shook the mane surrounding his head for a moment, then stretched his front half towards her. "Y'can feel more if you want. I don't care. My mom used t'like it too." He smiled in a friendly way up at the tiny female. "It's like that all over. Gets worse when I get bigger, y'know." He had the bad habit of expecting people to know what he was talking about when he talked about his other forms. "I mean, like... It gets fluffier and there's more of it." He glanced slightly behind him, as if trying to look back at his tail without moving his head. "Even m'tail is like that, too."

He paused a moment, a confused look gracing his face- had there been something he had wanted to say before? He thought on that a moment, then looked right back up at her without a second thought. "Oh, what happened to your tooth?" He wasn't really one to talk; his mouth wasn't exactly the nicest thing to look at what with his lower canines being bigger than his top, his dark tongue, and his spotty gums. But nevermind. He didn't know what tact was anyways. He was a blunt kind of guy.

:3 Sorry its short!

So his coat of fur was created through genetics. Her excitement slightly lessened, Siku sighed. She had hoped it was through some sort of process or regimen that allowed him to attain the wonderful cuddly texture. Apparently not, Siku would have to settle for the thick, disheveled but soft fur that was on her own back. Oh well. Golden eyes gazed up at the large wolf dog as he permitted further touch, and the woman appeared delighted. She stroked his arm with her paw as he spoke, almost petting him as she listened to him with constant interest. So he was the kind that could change form, too! Siku nodded in reply, understanding him as he explained it got worse. She tilted her head to the side, ears sticking up at she gazed at him quizzically. 'I wonder what he looks like in Optime?' Siku was thoughtful, both paws sinking into the wonderful sand as she was quiet for a moment. Luckily, her new companion was more than willing to compensate on her end of the chatting. Even his tail? Siku leaned over to the side, trying to get a look at his tail.

He asked the question. Siku's ears dropped to her head as she ran her tongue over her fang. Of course he would notice, it was obvious. Siku shook her head, shrugging at the same time. "I dunno, I think I was dropped on my head as a child." She lied shamelessly, one of the darker sides of her. Lying came easy when it meant no harm. "Anyway, I'm thinking I should be chasing your tail right now." She grinned up at Zeb, giving him a moments notice before swerving around him to pounce on the crazy tuft of fur and bone that was tail.

OOCtasties: Haha, no problem Smile I don't mind at all. As you can see, my posts aren't always super huge either lol

Zeb easily shrugged it off. "Oh, alright." It was easy enough for him to drop. He didn't really know much about the way people might hide something from you, or lie. Besides, it didn't matter much to him. It was just a tooth anyways. And then he suddenly was back up on his feet, dashing away from the very sudden pounce. He kept his front end lower than his rear, his posture showing his acceptance of her sudden playfulness. He grinned at her excitedly, "Oh yeah? I gotta warn you, it's pretty fast." His reaction timing was pretty good, and he was always ready for something to become playtime at any moment so the sudden turn was no real surprise for him. He was, after all, just a big overgrown puppy between those rounded ears.

And then he took off, sending sand showering in all directions ever time his paws awkwardly struck down. He still wasn't used to this new ground yet, and he was awkward enough on his own. He saw himself as pretty fast, however he truly wasn't much of a speed demon. His muscle was naturally bigger, not lean and made for speed. He was made more for brute strength. It probably wouldn't be too hard for the female to keep up with him, despite his earlier warning. It felt good to be goofing around again. The excitement of it all could almost be felt coursing through his veins, and without noticing he instinctively let his tongue hang out the side of his mouth slightly.

He bounded in towards the waves, which seemed to be drawing ever closer.. But he didn't take much notice. It was go time.

So I made a totally awesome post, then my internet died and refreshed my page.. Losing a quite decent, 4-5 paragraph reply.

T___T

If there was one thing the alabaster she-wolf could not resist, it was challenge. As she pounced forward to clamp her white paws on the fluffy tail, it swished out of the way as quickly as she had dived. Little paws sinking into the sand, Siku shifted her body quickly, spinning back around towards her new friend. She took a moment to snap her teeth at him teasingly and execute another attempt. To her delight, the tail was not going to be captured without effort. Golden eyes focused on the fluff, she lifted her bum in the air to pounce once more and dug her back feet in to make the move. Just as her body was in motion to attack, Zeb had other intentions and took off in a splay of sand. Landing in the spot where he had just shot away from, Siku giggled and her determination only grew as he began to run. Away!

Siku was a gifted runner, her strong legs moving like a well maintained machine as she darted through the sand. However, she lost her potential advantage as her paws dug into the sand each leap. Bounding through the sand, she seemed to be hopping in her effort to charge after the male. Trying her hardest in the spirit of play though, Siku managed to keep up. Catch up, even. Adrenaline and confidence growing as Siku began to launch her lithe body in long strides next to Zeb, she stuck her tongue out and put on a burst of speed to cut in front of him. Not meaning to bump into him though it as possible, the white woman attempted to slip past him and take off into a completely different direction. The ocean, the wonderfully alive ocean of waves.

It seemed the same thing was on Zeb's mind though, both shifting their chase from each other to the waves. Siku giggled non stop as she padded through the wet sand, lifting her paws exaggeratedly each time they sucked into the wet sand. It was comical, the look of childish delight and perturbed wonder that lit up her delicately featured face as she padded through the wet sand. And then her paws hit the water. Immediately feeling the cold chill, Siku laughed breathlessly. "It's COLD!" However she continued to delve into the waves, her legs fighting the tug of them as they tried to push her to shore and then suck her in. The way they constantly slid inward only to pull back out intrigued Siku, and she stared at the frothy, foamy water for a moment. It was then that her eyes glanced over herself underwater.

"Zeb, look! I look like you under here!" Siku barked at Zeb, beckoning him deeper into the water to see her fur. Engulfed, the pure white locks of fur stood on end and swirled in the current. It really indicated just how long her fur was, a good two inches of thick, thick softness that now floated in the ocean. It danced with the motion of the sea, making Siku's body look as fluffy as her companions. She watched with amusement, until seeing Zeb's own fur under water. "And you just get fluffier too!" His own fluffy fur splayed out in the water and made him look much bigger as well. Siku then lifted a paw from the water, noting how much smaller it got when no longer submerged. A giggle escaped her again, and became a growing laugh as she imagined Zeb soaking wet on the beach. He would surely be much smaller as well. As she opened her mouth to voice the mental image, Siku yipped in surprise as a particularly strong wave tugged her off her feet. It drew her into the beach at first, and she scrambled on her paws to right herself. Then, with more power than before, it sucked her into the ocean with force. Not enough to over power, but enough to put the petite woman off balance.

Enough to allow some of the cold sea water to leak into her maw, causing Siku to break out of the water with a disgusted bark. Wide eyes staring at Zeb, Siku's tongue went to work trying to extricate the taste by licking her chops over and over. It only made it worse, her muzzle now full of the salty taste. "Uh.. Gross!" She growled, glaring at the green hued water with growing disgust. "It looks so delicious, but it's nasty!" Her outburst was uttered just in time for another wave to rumble in, once again pushing itself against the two souls currently in the water. They were nothing compared to the power of Mother Nature, but neither were aware as the waves became progressively worse.

OOCtasties: Sorry for the delay. x__x I'm super sick and I'm just starting to get better.

Despite the fact that he was awkwardly brute-forcing his way through the sand, the young male felt like he was flying. His excitement spurred a strong flow of adrenaline, giving the wolfdog a strange surreal feeling. Thus, the flying. His coat, still mildly damp, soon felt as if it was weighing him down. As it flounced about his body with each leap, it seemed to catch more and more sand and grow heavier and heavier. Zeb couldn't help but growl quietly to himself. Then, came the only reaction he would give to such a situation- he simply pushed even harder. His irritation faded almost instantly as he noticed the female quickly gaining on him, and he instead let a playful laugh escape from his muzzle. He was surprised to find she was so fast for such a small creature.

Her body obviously was better built for speed. His own build proved rather awkward, a strange mixture of broadening and narrowing points. His face took on a somewhat surprised expression as the female finally caught up with him entirely, and his eyes quickly darted to Siku as she sidled up beside him. He gave a playful grin, allowing a soft growl to rumble between his awkwardly placed teeth. Oh, now this was becoming a real challenge. Despite the fact that she was obviously faster than he, the wolfdog was intent on winning this little game they started. As she darted in front of him, his eyes went wide and he stumbled. She had unintentionally bumped against him, and although it truly was only a brush he found himself teetering towards the sand. His movements were already so forced and clumsy that it was enough to cause him to trip over himself and land face-first into the sand.

In what seemed to be one motion he immediately jumped back to his feet, shook himself off, and resumed running at full blast. He fell enough to not take a little tumble in the sand seriously. This was game time, and he was in the zone. He was quite a bit behind now, but continued towards the waves. As he finally caught up, he allowed his body to slow to a somewhat comical trot. When he had almost reached Siku, he paused and then came to an abrupt stop. He peered behind him, oogling the prints left behind with open wonder. He had rarely seen any sort of substance that could so perfectly capture the shape of a paw. It was awe-deserving to his more simple mind. He turned his attention back the the woman as she spoke, laughing heartily at her outburst. "Yeah! It's freezing!" He watched with amusement as she continued into the sea, his tail wagging against his back.

As she beckoned him, he splashed his way in, and then toddled up until he stood nearby. He looked at the way the water carried her fur, seeming somewhat surprised. "Oh wow.. It looks so.. Different." was all he could manage as he now looked at his own coat, floating around him in the water. The initial chill had now subsided for him- his thick undercoat keeping much of the cold out for the timebeing. He was a creature made to withstand the cold, after all. A strong current swept up, and he felt himself being jostled slightly by the waves. He was a big guy, and managed to keep himself upright. It appeared, however, that his smaller companion hadn't been so lucky. He started immediately, eyes growing wide with shock. "Siku!?" He splashed about ineffectively for a moment, watching the water intensely. Should he go in after her? He had never really swam before, but he knew he couldn't just stand there. He looked around for her, ears perked forward. Luckily, she soon was upright again and he released a breath of relief.

"Wow, what was that? Are you okay!?" He felt the fur along his spine beginning to settle back down. Apparently his hackles had raised during the whole crazy event. "Yeah, it's pretty gross," he agreed. "I tried some of it before. Yuck. What kind of water is thi-" he was immediately interrupted by the force of the next wave that lapped against them, this one nearly knocking him off his feet. What was happening? He wasn't too alarmed yet, moreso confused. He began to scan the nearby area, and noticed that the beach seemed to be incredibly tiny now- well, in comparison to how it looked before. It now looked more like a thin stretch of sand. He floundered about due to the strength increase of the waves. What was-

His thought process was interrupted by a semi-large wave crashing over their heads, sending the young male careening backwards. The force of the water shook him up a bit, but it never got too firm of a hold on him. He managed to resurface somewhat quickly, but he now was noticing that he couldn't truly touch he sand with his paws any more. It was as if the water was rising. He quickly turned to check on his newfound friend, at the same time eyeing another wave fast approaching. Unbeknownst to the two, those waves were definitely growing in strength. And size.
