It had been raining for most of the morning, a light sprinkle falling from the clouded sky above. This territory had a lot of things in common with Clouded Tears--it often rained, the sky was, more often than not, overcast. It was kind of nice, like a taste of home sometimes, but some days it just made her feel sad. She turned back to the house, opening the door and walking inside. She'd been staying in the house for the last couple of days, having found several bedrooms and couches that were to her liking. The house was actually kind of nice to have...no matter where she went in it, she was always out of the rain.

An open window upstairs revealed that the rain was letting up, and Naniko looked into the bedroom on her way down the hallway. She had volunteered to babysit Sirius and Apollo today, and when she looked in on them both were still sleeping soundly in the bassinet.

The large female started quietly down the stairs, going through the parlor and toward the front porch. It wasn't raining any more, but the grass shown with heavy drops of water, sparkling in the mid-day sun.
