Iliya was exhausted from the traveling, and had gotten upset when Aleksandr had left them to go explore. But he'd promised to meet them here, so after his short hissy fit, he got Adrian to carry him and that's where he'd fallen asleep. He was safely tucked into those muscular arms. It wasn't exactly soft, but the safe, warm feeling that enveloped him had him feeling like this was the most comfortable bed ever. He always enjoyed being carried because he was so small, he couldn't keep up anyways. In his sleep, he gently kicked and licked and let out quiet little whines. It was a good dream, one where he was wresting papa Adrian.

The older male wandered along until he came across the scent of a pack. This would be a good place to settle down. He was already impressed by the scenery, and he knew he'd need help raising Iliya and a pack would be a great place to get advice and help. Even if he wouldn't actually let anyone raise the boy but himself. Tips and stuff were fine, but no one would be able to babysit him. He stopped short of the boundaries and stood silently, glancing down at his sleeping bundle of joy. He didn't wanna wake him up by calling for someone. And he didn't mind waiting either, so he very carefully sat down on the ground, gently stroking Iliya's head as the boy's ears twitched excitedly.

Skye had just gotten finished getting Sparrow ready to getting in the pack, and had just gotten back to fetch her knife - she had dropped it somewhere around the borders and needed to find it before morning, or else someone else would. She found it quickly - the blade gleamed in the gibbous moon, and she paused a while before wiping it with her shirt and putting it in the pocket of her short pants. She was about to head back to Thornbury for the night when she saw them - two dark forms, one holding another. She neared them - they were close to the borders - and saw that it was an older male wolf holding a younger pup.

She had never seen something like that before, and wondered with chagrin why so many newcomers were showing up while she was there, and Shaw was gone. She had been glad to see Sparrow, however, and the new influx of people joining was more than welcome. She was glad for the distraction, and walked closer to the strange pair on the borders of her pack.

"Hello," she said. "I'm Skye Collins, co-leader of Cercatori d'Arte. How may I help you?"

It must've been some kind of good luck, because it wasn't too long before someone showed up and introduced herself. Adrian looked up from the snoozing pup who didn't react too much to the presence of someone else. He was that comfortable. "Hello," he replied quietly, a smile appearing on his face. He easily and swiftly stood, successfully not disturbing Iliya once again. "It is nice to meet you. I am Adrian Instinsky, and this is little Iliya Russo. We are looking to join a pack so I can raise him safely." Semi-straight to the point, he wanted to settle down for the night so Liya could rest easily. He'd be excited when he woke up later, but also a bit disappointed he didn't get to see all the cool places along the way. He ran a finger along the pup's cheek, causing him to snuggle into it.

"I also have a friend on the way... his name is Aleksandr. When he comes, can you tell him we're here?" He tilted his head a little at her, still giving her a warm smile and holding his pup close to him. Iliya stirred, though, and was quickly awake. He let out an excited yip and squirmed when he saw Skye, but Adrian kept a firm enough hold so the youngster couldn't slip from his arms. He laughed lightly at him as he tried to get loose to go see the strange female. Normally he was more cautious around strangers, but there must've been something about her that Liya liked, and that had Adrian relaxing already.

The pup nibbled on Adrian's arm some before he spoke again. "Eto Skaĭ Kollinz . Ona budet nashim drugom." At that, Iliya let out another yip and squirmed even harder. The large male shifted his attention back over to his(hopefully) soon-to-be co-leader. "He really wants to meet you." But it was obvious Adrian didn't want to let him down so he could run off, he didn't want to chance him getting too excited and running away and getting lost in this new place.

Skye smiled as the man greeted her, and she nodded when he said his name - Adrian. She had never heard that name before, and his last name was even more foreign to her - Instinsky. She had never heard of something like that, but she liked the way it sounded on his tongue, and liked the way it sounded in her head. It was exotic, like many of the names in Souls. The small boy on Adrian's lap also had a unique name - Iliya Russo. She recalled that Russo was also the surname of Mars and Bartholomew, and wondered if they were related.

"But of course!" the woman exclaimed when he said that he was searching for a place to call home so that Iliya could be raised safely. She understood that some people needed a home - and she was all the more understanding when that someone had a pup with them. Skye had a soft spot for pups, though she didn't know whether or not she was expecting hers and Bangle's yet.

She then nodded as he asked if she could tell his friend Alexsandr where they were. She then remembered the strange man Alexander that she had rescued from the frozen pool, and wondered where he was - she hadn't seen him around very much since the incident, and wanted to know more about the funny, albeit slightly strange, man. Suddenly, the puppy yipped, and Skye bent down to his eye level.

"Hi, Iliya," she said softly as he said something in a strange language she didn't understand; she did, however, nod as the man told her that he wanted to meet her. She then stood up again and looked at both of them. "Feel free to stay," she said. "This is an artistic pack as well - if you have any art skills you'd like to share, please do!" she said. Then, "Would you like me to show you around?"

She seemed very sweet and Adrian knew he liked her already. It did help that Iliya seemed so keen to get to her, and he grinned widely as the woman bent down to look at him. It was making him feel a little bad that he wouldn't let the baby down so he could romp around. But he'd have plenty of time to do that later... and to do it during the day. Liya would get lost relatively easy at night, and the older Russian wasn't going to be taking any chances at all.

He seemed very happy at her response. He didn't even think he'd be turned down, but kept it in mind. Sometimes they had their reasons. Thankfully this time there wasn't one of those(and who in their right mind would turn down a guy and his child?). He remained quiet until she spoke again, perking up a little at the theme of the pack. Artistic, huh? That was fancy, but he didn't have any skills to contribute. Should he mention he dabbled in singing? He'd perhaps be more comfortable in instrument playing. "Ah, well... I don't think I have any skills that would be useful artistically," he paused a moment, adjusting Iliya in his arms only to have the pup excitedly scrabble against his shoulder. "But Iliya is already a talented singer." He pointed this out hopefully, and Iliya let out a little whine. "Papa Adrian petʹ slishkom!" the youngster interjected happily in slightly broken baby Russian. Thankfully Skye wouldn't understand, so he simply hushed the boy by putting a finger on his mouth.

"A tour would be wonderful. Where does the pack stay?" he asked curiously, his smile getting just a bit smaller. Did they mostly stay in the same place? He'd noticed old towns and stuff around, was there one in the pack lands? He guessed he'd find out soon enough. "I hope there is a house for us to stay in." Adrian said thoughtfully and quietly.

Skye faltered a bit when the man said he didn't have any artistic talents to share - she didn't want him to feel unwelcome just because he didn't, and she knew that there were members in the pack, Addison included, that didn't have a particular artistic talent but were part of the family anyway. He then said that Iliya was dabbling in singing, and she smiled - they only had one singer, Sky Katruk, and she was quite talented indeed. From the sound of the puppy's voice in the next unknown words he said, he sounded like a good singer as well - his voice was high pitched, like that of any pup, but it had a musical, smooth quality to it that Skye thought would be good for singing. She nodded.

The man then asked where the pack stayed, and she saw his smile falter for a moment as he wondered aloud if the pack had houses he could stay in. Skye remembered when she was going into Souls for the very first time and for weeks, had nowhere to sleep but empty caves and hollow trees and no one to speak to or be friends with. Then she thought of the relatively empty Thornbury and smiled.

"Of course we have houses for you to stay in," she said. "We have a town called Thornbury not too far away from here that most of the pack lives in. It's large and has several empty houses - you can choose whichever one you'd like to live in!"

He wouldn't feel too out of place. He could pick some things up from his fellow members, he just wouldn't be doing any singing himself. He got nervous just thinking about singing in front of these strangers, so he quickly shoved that out of his head. Iliya was trying to crawl up onto his shoulder, but he kept him in his arms, rubbing his hand on the boy's head to try and settle him down some. He needed to concentrate on Skye's answers, and it was hard with a rowdy pup in your arms.

He was thankful he'd found such a unique pack with a very capable and friendly leader. He'd have to take some time to get to know her better and do what he could to help her out. It was probably a lot of work leading a pack, even leading it with someone. Adrian beamed at her when she said they did have a town within the pack that even have some houses he could look through and find one that suited them the most. He was excited. He was definitely more of a city-dwelling guy, he didn't know how well he'd do living in a cave or something. He supposed he was spoiled when it came to that.

"Wonderful!" He exclaimed happily, causing Liya to get more excited even though he had no idea what was said. "This will give me a good chance to meet some of the other members too." Especially if the majority lived there. He mostly said that to himself, glancing down at Iliya. "Do you think you can help me? I need to find a place Liya can't sneak out of. He likes to explore." And that means 'get lost a lot'. He'd need to kid proof the home so the kid wouldn't get into any trouble if he happened to sneak away when Adrian wasn't looking.
