the world outside looks so unkind

He had been back and forth with the whole idea so many times now that he could hardly remember why any of it had mattered. Faolin mattered, and did that compare to the possibility of being thrown from the lands should someone unforgiving confront him? He could hardly imagine the latter occurring, and if it did, it could not possibly be enough of a barrier to keep him from finding his sister. Jesile knew that he would put her before himself in any circumstance as he would do for anyone else in his family, and so the time he had spent pondering the entire ordeal had been wasted. If she wasn't angry with him for leaving, he could potentially return, though he did not know how much use he would be to the clan. He constantly wandered, and he was hardly a warrior. Perhaps it was better to live alone and still visit whenever he could.

As he approached the border, the champagne-eyed youth found himself subconsciously and uncontrollably reconsidering again and again. Instead of listening to the proverbial voices of his head and heart (not to mention that illogical voice which came from who knew where), he ignored all and pushed through with his final decision. Faolin was important to him and he needed to know first hand that she was all right. He felt nothing else should matter more than that, including absurd insecurity. Jesile edged along the border to find a location where Faolin's scent was most noticeable and rooted himself to the ground. He was prepared to wait as long as he needed, and prepared to skirt around any obstacles necessary until he could see his sister once again, face-to-face.

Sorry for the wait just been a little bit of a busy week. <3

After breaking that fear of going near the beach by going there with Talitha, Faolin found herself near the borders of the beach quite often the last couple days. Spending most of her time there or back at the den. Her children were already growing up so fast and she did not have any family to share it with. Asphyxia was back, Hybrid was there, but since the forming of the new pack she hardly saw him. Segodi had disappeared again, and when she thought that maybe she had a chance with one of her newer siblings, Jesile, the boy disappeared. Feeling kind of depressed that so many people just walked in and out of her life as they pleased she stared at the ocean. But, something threw her off-guard.

That scent.

She bolted upright and flew right to her feet. Crimson eyes wide in surprise she took in another deep breath, checking again. It would not be the first time her mind had tricked her, nor would it be the last. But, it had never failed her before. These thoughts had floated across before and she did not question them and found what she was looking for. Even though it was a shell of what she hoped to find. There was no mistaking it and she flew forth and kicked up sand around her paws in the process. A partially shadowed figure was off in the distance and Faolin grinned, she knew exactly who it was. A bit bigger than before, but there was no mistaking his shape.

"JESILE!" she yelled out and quickly covered the short distance that now laid between them. She instantly covered the boy in licks and kisses on his chin and cheeks and head. He was bigger than she was, Faolin was not that big to begin with, but he was not really a puppy anymore. Turning into the young adult she hoped him to be. Hopefully he was not any different. "I... I didn't think you would ever find me," she whispered into his ear, tears stinging her eyes. She plunged her muzzle into the thickest part of his fur along his neck and breathed in his scent.
