Letting Go

[html]OOC: -Cotl- Herp derp

It had been a casual day for Euphoria and her equine as of yet. She had rose early that morn, pursuing the borders vigilantly on horseback for any daring canines until well into the after noon, there after taking her companion for serene ride in the Forest of Nod as a reward for his persistent obedience throughout her scouting duties. She now rested up against a fairly aged tree, Fear faithfully laid at her side with his head cushioned on her lap. She gently caressed his cheek, running her fingers lightly down the lines of his distinctive Arabian profile, sweeping away his crimson-dipped dreads allowing her to trace the pattern around his eye using the softest touch.

He relaxed trustfully, letting a peaceful sigh seep out of his blood stain embellished nostrils and enjoying the affection from whom he was so eager to please. She felt true harmony in this place, claiming her newly discovered Garden of Eden. Who knew behind that mounted wall of unfortunate wolf skulls would be such a serene and tranquil landscape? The sun had begun it's descent and laid low in the sky, barely just peeking over the horizon but still found the strength to stretch its golden arms out long enough to send rays of light bouncing off the moss covered trees. Midges hovered in collective clusters around the dampened air, and a small group of birds sung to each other in the impending dusk, Euphoria just thoroughly enjoying the company of her favourite companion.

He'd been out this afternoon, riding around and looking for his rodent traps that were strategically placed in the Forest of Nod. They had been placed on the smaller animal routes since that's what he was going to trapping. Anything bigger than a raccoon and Cotl might accidentally get himself a clan-mate. That wouldn't go over. He could imagine the conversation. He could imagine Gabe and his unibrow being all "why did you make a trap that big and not tell anyone?" and then he would have to be all like "maybe people should look at where they are walking" and then Gabe would probably sit on Cotl until Cotl just stopped breathing or something like that. Maybe Gabe would tear out his throat instead. Cotl didn't really know how Gabe's preferred method of killing was. He was just going with whatever came to his mind first. Cotl frowned as he had dismounted his horse for the second time, looking down at another completely destroyed trap. Cotl's ears flattened against his skull and he sniffed the scents that had been all over it. Another horse. Another canid smell he didn't know. He wished that they would look where they were galloping. The cranky orange imp of a canine tapped the hilt of his kantana and he frowned. The man twitched and his throat cleared before he would look to Maschine and shake his head. "fick" the man cursed before he had gotten back up on his steed and he rode on.

He followed the scent that had lead through the clan lands. It was interesting enough because it was a new scent completely. New horse, new person. He could only wonder what crazy was brought in this week. His bi-colored eyes looked around as Maschine carefully navigated through the Forest of Nod. He kept the pace at a brisk trot, having Cotl bouncing up and down on the steed's back as he rode along the forest, making sure to stay on a trail that had been made by himself and Maschine the year that they had been here in Inferni together. Cotl pushed his black hair over his eyes as he rode, still sniffing around and trying to find this woman and her stallion, he identified as he started to get closer and closer. Maschine's pace had slowed to a walk, almost eerily slow. The black mass of a equine carried its metal-head of a master on his back. Soon he would find himself in front of a woman and her horse sitting under a tree. "Du shoulds rides more carefuls. Dere's rabbit traps du -NYEH-trampled." the man spoke to her, frown on his black painted muzzle.

[html]OOC: No problem Smile

Fear’s gain of apprehension and shifting was the only sign to Euphoria a stranger was approaching them, all eyes and ears searching expectantly for a figure to appear and the stallion quickly clambered up to his feet. Euphoria rose slowly as the strange man on horseback approached, her dark equine clearly expressing his distaste to find that there was yet another stallion on these lands – his hoof rising and slamming into the ground in a manner of authority. ”وقف هذا الوقاحه” the woman hissed to her abrupt equine in a unravelling manner, before turning to the stranger with an awaiting clear expression upon her face – much like that of a book before ink has been spilt onto the page.

Sooty hands shifted her belt of ranged weaponry around to rest comfortably on her hips and she ran her translucent orbs over the man and his horse’s figure with a mild intrigue that his horse was painted in a similar way to her own, but varying markings. "Du shoulds rides more carefuls. Dere's rabbit traps du -NYEH-trampled." he broke out with. His accent was extremely foreign and it took her a moment or two to understand what he had just conversed to her. She did ride to the forest with some haste, but she was not aware such traps were laid. Despite her displeasure that this man was too lazy to hunt, she offered her assistance and sincerity as he was a member of the pack after all. ”My apologies, sir. I wasn’t aware such traps were laid” she returned to him in a polite, sincere tone. He had approached her in a respectful manner when in all right he could have been much more severe in his choice of words, and she sought to not leave an unpleasant taste in this canine’s mouth after their encounter. ” I would appreciate it if you would let me mend your traps, and gain back any potential kills you may have lost through my unawareness” She forwarded once more, to help numb any feelings of inconvenience that he might have had.

Maschine was in tune with what was going on around him, and the skull painted stallion had seen the stomp of authority from the blood painted stallion. The appaloosa equine had snorted and thrown his head up at the other stallion, stubbornly. Maschine had been the very first stallion in Inferni, and he was the only one until Imacai came with his stallions, and then this woman came here with her stallion. Cotl looked at Maschine and he pulled back the reigns to make the stallion back up on turn away from the other stallion. Cotl expressed irritation with a glare shot at the crimson painted steed that was not his. Maschine obviously did not like the challenge because his ears would fall flat on his head, much like Cotl's own coydog ears. The woman scolded the stallion, which was fine with Cotl, so he dismissed the act against his steed from her own. The imp dismounted his steed and stood in front of the woman a few paces away. She apologized for trampling the traps as well, and offered him her time to help fix the traps and hunt down any kills that he might have lost. Cotl hadn't checked all of his traps since they were so scattered throughout the lands, so he did not know how many of them she may have trampled in her hasty ride through Inferni. One of his large, orange coydog ears had pulled forward as he thought about if he would want her, to accompany him. She had been incredibly sincere and respectful to the Imaginifer; which was more than he could say about many of the other newer member.

Cotl did not smile to her though. It was normal for this frown to be here, and if it wasn't this frown, then it would be a creepy, evil smile that would be placed there. There was barely anything in-between. He held his bi-colored, ice-fire eyes on the woman, before his head would twitch to the right and his throat would clear itself rather loudly. Maschine grunted too from his spot over by the tree he was standing at. His butt was turned towards the group, but his ice blue eyes were watching, this was for sure. Cotl could feel the skulled appaloosa's eyes staring at his back and then the other stallion and the female. "Mein name ist Cotl Ulrich.-FICK- Vho du?" the man asked, pointing at himself and then to her, as if this was supposed to help her know what he was talking about. He actually had the better accent of all of his German family, even his German born son knew more German than English, and even Marik's English was pretty bad. Cotl had more practice because he was a shut in that had nothing better to do often times. This also led to his trapping techniques. Since he was small, he often couldn't take down deer by himself, and he didn't really like having to chase after small creatures and sometimes having to dig them out of their holes for just one rabbit. When hunting for not only himself, but for his son, and his brother as well then it was easier to do traps than to track down, chase, and dig out three different rabbit holes. Not only that, but sometimes Cotl was able to get other rodents in his traps, which made things interesting at times.

"Du patrol die borders, rights? How far?" the man asked, his ears twitching back for a moment and then they both pulled forward towards the woman. The man then let out a loud "NYEH" and he shook his head lightly.

[html]OOC: Your avvie makes me giggle :3

Her stallion grunted loudly in response to his shunning, a sinful grimace glaring across at the two strange creatures despite his orders, with blood-draped ears flattening against his dark arched neck, toned muscles readily tensed underneath his velvet pelt. She met his tri-coloured gaze with her ghostly own, and reckoned this man was one who seemed always to linger in a foul mood, with the irritated look upon his face. It also appeared to her that he had something wrong with him, from a twitch or vocal outburst which had occurred multiple times within just between them meeting and the russet shaded man dismounting his horse; however this wasn’t relevant to the situation, not that it would have been an obstacle to her anyways. "Mein name ist Cotl Ulrich.-FICK- Vho du?" He asked, her mind was still slightly baffled through his tone of accent, though the simple aid of hand gestures quickly cleared the fog.

”Euphoria” She returned almost robotically, the man proceeding to converse more "Du patrol die borders, rights? How far?" gathering up the route she had taken earlier that day welled in her mind, allowing a brief moment for her to flick her pestering fringe away from her eyes with a small sooty hand. ”Yes, the eastern borders alongside Anathema, Gabriel mentioned they’re trouble so I figured I would help double the patrol” she added alongside her previous comment, gesturing to the east with her maw as she said so and pronouncing her words in much softer tone. Her vibrant indigo dipped ears flattened partially with the thought that one of the members had been suspiciously killed in their lands; and even with her Aquila’s judgement that it would be foolish to spy on them a small germ of curiosity welled inside her mind of the countless possibilities of excitement she was missing out on.

Out of Character

Coding by Sie.

Yeah that one was funny. It was made by Titmouse a long time ago when Cotl was being a creeper with cassius. +3

In Character

The woman named herself Euphoria. Cotl's ears twitched slightly at the word, for it was not only thrown off of her tongue with a weird sound but the name itself was slightly weird to the male. He tongued the word a few times over on his tongue silently, and he looked to the floor for a moment to figure out if he would be able to say it without fucking it up. It was good that the woman would continue on to tell him where she had been running along. She told him that she had patrolled the side of the mountain, the side where Anathema hid in their caves. Cotl had an affinity for the wolf pack now, for they had killed one of his family members, even if it was one of the most annoying ones, Cotl didn't think that Izaak deserved to be killed. Both of his ears fell back on his coal skull. Trouble ist rights.-FUCKINGJESTERSHITBITCH- Never trusts Anathema scents. the man spoke to the woman, frown only deepened on his muzzle as he watched the woman from behind his ice-fire eyes. He appeared cold now, he didn't want to accidentally show off some more emotion about the Anathema wolves and their trash that lived in the mountain. Cotl's eyes moved from Euphoria's eyes to her indigo tipped ears, finding it curious that she would pick those spots to dye. His eyes then went to her steed, noticing his particularly awesome appearance. Cotl still admired his steed much more, only because Maschine was his own art that he had worked particularly hard on.

Das Maschine. Cotl brought up, pointing to his horse and his shoulder twitched after and he grunted lightly before looking to her steed once more. Vho das? Cotl then pointed his muzzle to her steed before his face would turn back to her completely. He huffed before he looked to the irritated Maschine who also gave a nicker to his master. Cotl didn't understand the steed, but Cotl could guess by the look on his face that he was uneasy about the other stallion that was new in his territory. Cotl also was uneasy about the presence because there was no problems between the current animals that lived in the packlands, and Cotl didn't like the threat of them getting in a fight that the canids wouldn't be able to effectively break up. He kept these worries on his mind only because now the two would have to ride together to get this done. -NYEH- He freundlich? the man asked, cocking his head to her.

Her statement of her calling to the man seemed to have thrown him a little, and as he had mimicked the word over his tongue she turned to her mount and hissed some foreign words to his ears “يستدير والبقاء هناك، لا يكون مصدر ازعاج!” the noise slithered off her tongue in an affirmative manner, and all the stallion could do was turn and did as he was told. Maybe he was learning? Although this spell of permanent obedience was most probably a passing phase for him, it was a very good improvement – for now. She approached the apparent opposing stallion to Fear, intrigued by the spotted equine’s markings. Gently clicking her tongue she softly rolled the back of her hand over the stallion’s nares. Trouble ist rights.-FUCKINGJESTERSHITBITCH- Never trusts Anathema scents. She heard her new acquaintance from behind, but it didn’t take long to trigger a response from the woman however. ” Never, they are unpredictable and from what ive heard I would love to tear the shabby mutt that murdered one of our pack members to shreds, I’d make them fucking sorry.” It was quite blunt, but it was a fact from the woman’s mind.

She classed her pack as close relations, although not depicted by blood she still viewed them as it and whoever was opposition to them were the same to her with no questioning. Das Maschine He introduced her to his stallion, of whom she was now obsessed with. ”Beautiful, aren’t you?” she murmured to the equine with beautiful blue eyes, though they were not as ghostly as her own. She had then turned back to the man “That is Fear” she mildly added, her own steeds pricking slightly at the noise of her voice but remained with his rear facing them, his head hanging lowly in the mood of that of a sulk….

”Cotl, did you mark him yourself? Hes amazing” she questioned the male before he had asked about her own horse’s behaviour. ”yes, hes just a little…arrogant. I wouldn’t worry about him – I have him well trained” she had added before floating back over to her stallion’s still rear facing rump, then firmly patting it to show the man he was safe. ”أسفل” she summoned, her dark mount turning to face the man before lowering his mass to the ground – where after she placed herself on his back. ”الارتفاع ، ولدا طيبا.” had followed and the stallion had lifted himself to his feet without questioning and received a well earned pat from the woman for being a good boy.

OOC Ending: The two rode around and fixed the broken traps and actually enjoyed each other’s company. Cotl told her where he resided in the mansion and she said she might visit sometime.
