Sibling time! Big Grin

In Character

Maybe, just maybe, he was becoming some sort of shut-in spending each day coiled up in his room or outside with his horse and caring for the rest of the pack's beasts. Avoiding something, avoiding the faces of his new packmates. It made him feel sick when his mind wandered thinking of various scenarios of what could happen to him now that he was on his own. He was definitely a social butterfly, but shyness and distrust mixed to be a bad potion indeed. Nothing bad had ever happened to him, but the thought of it always happening here and now repealed him from many things.

Eyes narrowed up at the dirt ceiling, thinking about the possibilities always upset him and never made choice to think about it preferring the here and now. That way of thinking meant spur of the moment things, he guessed, like joining Anathema, but, oh, he put thought into it long and hard, he sure did. A noisy heavy sighed released from his chest as he laid on the make shift bed which was just a bunch of fur on the floor. He'd either had to make something(and risk losing various limbs) or pull something from a human dwelling. But for now he didn't put much thought into it.

Gaze flickered to the wall and back the gears griding as his thoughts ran about until they just...stopped when the grey giant sat up. He was having another bold moment, another spree of "who cares!" Pushing himself off the bed making way over to the skin that hung in front of his room, he needed to make a suitable door a cloth was too easy to get past. Pushing past the cloth he went into the hallway, he'd greet those he the rooms next to his. But which should he greet? He hadn't really see anyone come from the rooms and often wondered if anyone even lived in them, but only one way to find out, right?

Taking random choice he chose a random room going to the right to the room that held a cloth door as well. If it was a door he'd knock, sadly, it was not so he just went in feeling rude as he did so. Placing a hand on the wall he beat on it as he came in hoping to make noise to signal the other they had a visitor.

"H-Hello...?

Gah, short and sucky. Sorry >.<

In Character

Muffled echoes of laughter and voices filled the silence that was threatening to consume his room, the sounds just another reminder that he was home; that he was no longer alone. Such a small, trivial thing comforted him as he lay upon his bed. It was rare that he found himself alone these days, for the majority of his time lately had been occupied by friends and fellow pack members, along with meeting new people. Overall, each encounter had been positive; which was new, for he had grown accustomed to things going bad, it seemed odd that his life seemed to be on the up.

My life’s on the up and I’m sleeping in an underground cave huh? He rolled over to lie on his front, his arms curling and creating a small pillow for his head to rest on; his patchwork blanket lay tangled around his lower half, wrapped between his legs. He breathed heavily, his muscles completely relaxed into the soft surface of his bed, his mind in a different, happy place altogether.

Awhile back he had been a loner, travelling from one place to another, always alone, always looking over his shoulder. Now he was a domesticated pushover, how the times had changed him. Now all I need is an apron and some cooking skills and I could become a true domestic cave wolf.

A nervous, stuttering voice drew him away from his own little world. He groaned at the intrusion and refused to move from the comfy spot he was in. “What?” he called out, his voice heavy with sleep that would have taken him soon…

Slowly, he rolled onto his back and propped himself up onto his elbows and glowered at the unknown male. “Well, be quick with it. Some of us actually need and want sleep.” The harsh words escaped him, causing him to feel every so slightly guilty. He didn’t follow a set time table like the majority of canines seemed to do, he kind of slept when he wanted to and awoke when he felt like it, so the strange wolf was not to know he was sleeping…

But when someone wakes a moody wolf, they are to face his wrath. Regardless of who they are.

It's fine. c: Oh, poor, stupid Kase, you need to man up. Sorry for the slowness!

In Character

Like a scared little mouse he stood near the exit looking as if waiting to make a quick get away, well he would if need be. The surge of courage he was feeling was ever slowly edging away as his eyes darted around the room taking in the way it was decorated. It didn't have much, but surely enough for the one who lived. Yes, he was oblivious to that who was snuggled up in the dug in bed. Kase never was one for spotting the obvious things. He could thank his mother for that, such a ditzy, flighty woman was she.

Not a testy person, he stood there ever calm like the other was just standing there in front of him and having some sort of staring contest. A loud sigh exited his nose, maybe they weren't were after all? He picked the wrong room, didn't he? So, in all he very much looked like some creep standing in someone's empty room if another were to pass by. That was a lovely way to introduce oneself "hello, I'm mister creeper." He chuckled lowly at the thought.

Seeing as there was definitely no one in the room the wolfdog turned for the cloth door, that's when a voice arose. Though sleep laden and clearly not in an almost awake state it still caused the fellow to jump slightly, a scared little lamb. He turned back around just as the other propped himself up blue gaze now fixed on him in an unhappy manner. After the wolf spoke again Kase started to fumble over his own words trying form the right sentence. This wouldn't be a happy encounter would it?

"I-I...uhm, I'd j-just wanted to introd-duce myself.

That was good, right? It stated what he wanted as it was certain the other was not up for any sort of small, easy chit-chat. Boy, did he feel bad for waking him up, though. If he was the easy to anger type he'd probably act the same way if rudely woken up, but he was a yesman so no such thing would ever happen. He watched the wolf who could have easily just walked over and gave him a smack then pushed him out and that was what he was afraid of. Well, a smack was better than the other thoughts that always ran wild.

A memory flittered through his mind of black fur fading to grey, flecked with white; wild, matted hair hanging all over the place and deep, emerald green eyes that seemed all knowing. Jay. Deepening his frown, he glared at the other even more, for the stranger looked a disgusting amount like his deceased adopted father. The intruder was unknowingly bringing a lot of deeply buried memories to the Dasa’s mind, ones he’d been desperately trying to forget.

Pulling himself up, he rose to a seated position before he hauled himself up to his full height, of which would normally towered above others, but now he found himself having to look up to this stranger, which only added to his growing dislike of the male.

“Uh-huh” he replied, dragging the sound out to elaborate on his joy of being awoken. “Well then, get on with this self introduction that was so important that I had to be woken up for it. Please, go on with it” and now he was making the situation awkward and uncomfortable for the other, simply because he was moody when he woke and the unfortunate stranger happened to look a hell of a lot like Jay. He even wore an ear ring that resembled one he’d seen his father make..

“No. Way” shock flooded his voice and he stormed over, bringing his face right up close to the others and staring at the feather hanging from his ear. “Impossible” a hand raised as if to touch the feather, but he couldn’t bring himself to touch it, for by doing so would make the situation all the more real.

Stepping back, full alert and awake now, he looked the other over from head to toe and back again. This time noting that what he saw was no mere resemblance, the two were practically identically aside from this guy took better care of his hair. Crossing his arms across his chest, standing close to the other still, he frowned once more and let out a low growl, lips pulling back to show sharp, white teeth.

“You, who the hell is your father?” there was no way, absolutely no way that this guy could be related to Jay, but he had to confirm things first.

Alaki and his relationship with Jay now officially remind me of Sam from the Wolves of Mercy Falls series.

It was a bad idea, very bad idea coming in here. He was a nervous wreck now, well he was usually one, anyways, but this feeling was different. It was the feeling of intrusion, a feeling of being unwanted and both were something he'd likely have to grow use to in this new world. His eyes were now down casted going over the patterns in the natural floor and soon he could feel eyes burning into him, but he dare not look up only focusing more on the floor. It was a very bad idea indeed.

Despite his best to give a submissive appearance his ears flicked forward hearing the ever soft rustling of blankets and then the louder sounds of feet coming to a stance. Look up, look up. Not moving his head he moved his sight up looking at the stranger now avoiding eye contact, though, of course. He focused on his nose until he spoke watching each word form on his lips as they dripped out. Everything negative was present in his tone, as if he wasn't sorry enough the wolf had to have this tone of voice.

He had to apologize and leave, apologize and go hide in his room or store away with the horses. Something other than bothering the poor fellow. As he finally found the right words and started working together sentences the male spoke again, tone vastly different now. Shock, surprise, all of those words laced his voice and the thudding of feet made him look up coming gaze to gaze with the wolf. Him looking up and Kase looking down unaware of the man's staring at his ear. Saying another word he raised his hand and this trigged the giant to flinch, but as sudden a she raised his hand the other male stepped back.

What was this guy doing? Speaking "can't be's" and "impossible's," can't be what? Impossible what? This was confusing! The man changed emotions in a blink of an eye, no it was quicker than that, but at least he looked at wake now? Whether he was awake or not should have been the last thing on his mind. Then the question came, you, who the hell is your father? What did that have to do with any thing? Why did he care who his father was? A faint a idea bubbled up, but it couldn't have been. It would have been too hauntingly weird if he was here, of all places.

"Jay, was his name."

Who knew that bubble would be right.

“Kami ha kuso!” the foreign curse rolled from his lips breaking the silence which had begun to stretch on. At the other’s answer he should have been shocked, curious, maybe even interested in the other; it’s not exactly everyday that an unknown brother appears out of thin air. Yet, everything within him turned to ice and a burning rage grew within him; he’d been betrayed once more by his father. Trust Jay to screw me over even when dead. “Hooo~” the sound was full of spiteful sarcasm and he began to circle around the larger male who was possibly his ‘adopted’ brother. “Roujin da kara watashi o uragit ta, doko demo okubyou na shison o nokoshimeguri” he sneered at the other, just as appalled that such a creature had the nerve to claim Jay as his father, as he was with Jay himself.

“Last name Hayashi by any chance?” the question had to be asked even though he already knew what the answer would be. Every inch of this male was the spitting image of his father and at every inch of the male he felt disgusted; he was Jay’s only child and he refused to believe that Jay would have betrayed him in such a way, he held onto a small hope that this stranger’s father was a Jay by a different surname and the earring and resemblance were a mere fluke.

Around and around he paced, his teeth grinding together and his expression that of death and destruction itself. The Dasa was not fond of change and was not taking well to the possibility of having to share his father. Who is this freak of nature to claim Jay as his father? Impatient eyes glared at the other and awaited his response, in hope that it was anything but ‘Hayashi’.

There’s no way, it’s impossible, this has to be some sort of sick, twisted joke….

Bleh, don't really like this post.

In Character

When he was young he once over heard his parents arguing, well more so his mother was arguing, but his father's voice was stern in tone. He wasn't sure what they were talking about, but he caught a name and the word "son." He didn't quite understand and soon began asking about this "son" and quickly grew jealous and confused with the answers. Who was this boy? Why did he get his father and he didn't? Was he more special than Kase? Why did this faceless boy get the things he wasn't getting? It wasn't fair. He grew numb to what his father said in their lessons, a sign of anger in the calm boy, and soon enough Jay stopped coming. He never tried to figure why, though, he didn't care. If he wanted to be with this other boy than so be it.

So this was that boy? He couldn't grab a name he threw it out long, long ago in an attempt to "forgive and forget" and, boy, did it work. Unlike the other he held no anger, his fury was gone and done and was replaced by a bit of curiosity. As it wasn't everyday one met some distant relative type person. Did he count as a relative? Surely he did? This...was him, right? Of course he had to be unless Jay raised yet another child? This one not the boy he knew about? Whoever he was he knew his father somehow.

His flight instinct was much strong than the fight as his body just burned to to turn and run for Hell itself, but he ignored it, but that didn't mean he wasn't nervous. He was all kinds of nervous and more and then all those emotions stopped for a minute when the male spoke a last time this time in words he actually knew. It was that boy, he knew his name and spoke in tongue Jay told him of. But of course he forgot the name. As the male started circling him staring him down with a look of pure hate his emotions started working again. Flight tugging him even harder now.

"Y-Ye-Yes. ...A-And you? I-I-I know you, w-well of you. N-Name?

This would make him angrier, wouldn't it?
