Chilling near the eastern wall of the mansion, further into the forest. The mural is described, and though I don't particularly believe it's capable of inducing a necessity for the Mature tag, tell me if you think it is. Looking for as many members of Inferni as possible! Just jump in whenever you get the time and you'll be added to the posting order. This is primarily for people who want to a) learn guitar (Maki) or b) learn how to paint (Sage); anyone, however, is invited to participate.

The fumes from her paint left the Optio a bit light headed as she stepped back to study the work. Since her roll in the grass with Revan, it had really come into its own. Along with the beautiful blue sky and magnificent pond, figures were easy to recognize. A morbid depiction of a dark Luperci was crushed on the shore of the pond, painted blood soaking into flat green grass and coasting smoothly over the crystalline surface of the pond. As the scene turned from macabre pastoral to dark and eerie forest, mottled bodies of others could be identified. Reds and browns covered the large halfling form of a coyote, crimson eyes giving the face away as Hybrid Holocaust, while the dark body of their Aquila lurked behind gnarled trunks. Even her cousin, strange and unpleasant Halo, made her appearance in the darkness between the trees. White rats littered the ground at her feet.

She was proud of the work. Even if she'd taken so many hours away from her world to create it, she was proud of the almost finished product. The slowly growing grass bore a coat of her efforts; new sprouting foliage was colored in shades of paint much like the exterior wall of the house. Eventually she'd want to show Ezekiel. Maybe he'd appreciate it, more than she expected one of her cousins to.

With an exhausted sigh, the paint-covered Lykoi dropped inelegantly to the ground. Most days she'd take a nap, regardless of the exposure to other members of the clan; that day, however, she'd brought along the beat-up guitar that she'd once loved to play. Strings curled from their broken points. It didn't stop her from playing it. Even with minimal chord usage, her fingers strummed a melancholy tune. Without lyrics, Talitha hummed the sorrowful melody to accompany the guitar. The paint dried slowly on the wall of the mansion behind her.

Makhesthai was once again weaving around the clan lands as that was all he ever seemed to do. He was still congratulating himself on catching a rabbit for his breakfast, the largest thing he had caught so far in his life. Its flesh still laid within his stomach digesting slowly, his joints ached and his muscles burned from his exertions chasing it and his working out. The orange male child shook himself and fluffed up his fur, he was moving towards the human mansion that scared him still, since the last time he had been here Makhesthai had grown almost a foot taller. The male child was growing quickly now that he had a reliable supply of food and he wasn't stressed out wondering if today would be his last day alive, the male shuddered and carried on, coming ever closer to the mansion.

A sound came to his ears that he had never heard before, he could not explain it or describe it. Makhesthai didn't know it yet but he was hearing music coming from a guitar played by Talitha. This was the first music the pup had ever heard outside of howls, both wolf and coyote. He followed the direction of the wonderful noise that made him want to sway on his paws and spin around in circles. His orange furred legs brought his body around the very large human house and towards its eastern side, where her saw the source of the noise, coming from a strange object that was held in the hands of Kaena's granddaughter and his niece by the adoption that brought him into the Lykoi family.

His tail wagged in the air behind him, he was very glad to see Talitha and was extremely curious about the wooden object she had. As he came nearer he also became aware of a magnificent artwork on the wall of the human mansion and for a second all Maki could do was stare with his jaw hanging. He could recognize some of the Canids in the picture; their leader Gabriel, the scary Hydra Hybrid and even the dangerous Centurion Halo. His attention turned to the Infernian princess and a greeting fell from his lips, "Talitha Ma'am.". Ever the curious youth that he was, Makhesthai settles down onto the floor next to the clan's Optio and sniffed at the noise producing thing, keeping out of the way of Talitha's hands. It smelled strange, like wood but wood long dead and very old, a scent he could not identify but would turn out to be its varnish finish and of course of the female that owned and played it .

"It sounds really nice, what is it? Where did you find it? It makes me sing inside." The questions left his mouth before he could stop them but he couldn't help it, he was so entranced with it, not since he had seen Halo's sword had he been so obsessed on a single thing. The pup's tail was back to wagging again, the end shifting to and fro.
