Orokana…. At the sound of the word, the young Dasa froze, staring at Liev with open surprise, before his expression turned to one that said ‘Oh crap! Busted’. It had never occurred to him that Liev would understand Japanese, why was a stupid thing not to take into consideration when the Anzu had displayed such a large amount of knowledge on a variety of subjects; heck, the Anzu had been speaking to him in another language for awhile now. Mentally, he groaned at his slip up and knew that Liev was gonna get revenge for the insults… probably.

Yet, instead of looking apologetic and reflecting upon his actions, he scowled at Liev, for the lighter male had placed his head in his palm. If I had technique, I wouldn’t be asking for your assistance! he screamed within the confines of his mind, but did not dare to voice the complaint to his ‘instructor’ after getting caught insulting him in another language.

Stepping back, he watched the Anzu complete the task he was set with ease and jealousy flared within him. Stupid know it all! Why can’t he screw up and make a mistake… but his mind stopped its rampage and he paid attention as the other spoke, taking in Liev’s every word. And with that, their lessons were over.

Reaching out, he grabbed his sword and walked towards the tree where he had left the crow. Surprisingly, it seemed the bird was content to stick around and become domesticated; no doubt the pest knew that if he stayed with him, he’d get to annoy Key and get food for nothing.

With the bird back on his shoulder, he went his separate way from Liev, heading back to his cave to make notes on what he learned, like a good student.
