Stepping in the curious mind

WC: 338 OOC: Lil Eclipse is curious wolf, she'll start moving around again, soon Wink

Eclipse’s life had changed drastically since she was saved by Malachi. She no longer had a house for a home, instead it was a den, and though she was nice, their meals weren’t even the same, though Eclipse would memorize what was done to the meals, because she’d find a way to perfect them later on, but for now, she had a lot of exploring to do and to do that she had to get away from her rounded eared caretaker. She would only be gone a few hours, and her parents never went looking for her before so she wouldn’t be missed too much. Silently Eclipse slipped away, finding herself following what ever pleased her nose.

She found herself nosing around a fence, before she slipped through it, trying to make sure she didn’t get caught in it. She got lucky and was soon off, sniffing the ground for something amazing. She was passing through the woods, which were now thinning, and she soon found herself near a river, and it was rushing wildly. She ignored this, but kept her distance. She’d already just barely survived a creek and doubted she could survive a gushing river. Her tail wagged high and long as she made her way through a territory she didn’t know, though it was owned, she seemed to ignore it, there was something calling to her nose and she needed to find out what it was.

It took her longer than she thought, though she was not paying attention to the time, she was paying atttention to that interesting smell in her nose. It was so close now, and soon she found herself face to face with a great fallen tree, one that had carvings of different animals all over it. She looked at each different piece of artowork, this was amazing, and for some reason she had been called to this. She wagged her tail, looking at all the cool little designs, some very pretty, and others not so much so.

The 21st? c:

The young Tsula Agateno had yet to become acclimated to the pack much, but that was to be expected, having only been there for such a short time. Foxglove had only met Ralla and ayasha thus far, with the exception of the stand-in Kalona, Jefferson. The wolfdog was hardly more than a girl, but she had been on her own for long enough to know what she needed to do to make herself comfortable in this new pack. The first step would be to know her duties and perform them well. That was what she found herself doing today.

Though there were more duties to her rank than patrolling the borders, Foxglove thought that might be the one she was most suited to. She enjoyed wandering and it gave her the chance to do that without problem. Her body was small, lithe, built like her shepherd ancesters, despite the large wolf percentage to her blood. Foxglove moved with agile grace, pink nose to the ground and inhaling deeply. Suddenly, she came to a spot where a foreign scent lingered on the fence, but did not continue along the borders. The Tsula Agateno turned her head, peering in towards the pack lands. Was there a stranger in there? Her direction changed quickly and she lowered her nose to the ground once more, searching for the source of the scent.

OOC: This is priority for me!! Sorry it's a shorty

Once she had enough of the pretty drawings she stood, her tail wagged and she bounded off for something more, the pack smells didn’t seem to bother her like it should she was too busy getting in something so new and wondrous. She had not thought such a place was possible. Her head bent low as she found her way turned in another direction, she stayed low to the ground. Her nose quickly brought her to a huge old red building, with a great big pasture. There were a few huge fat animals grazing but this didn’t bother her, no there was something else slightly familiar yet not so much inside. She didn’t go in because she saw movement, but she saw what she wanted to. They had horses! She wanted to investigate more but she didn’t want anyone else to see her, so she kept where she was to take in what she could without getting seen.

It was a young scent, and a fresh one, too. It was strangely familiar in a subtle way, but the blonde wolfdog could not place why it was so. Foxglove did not recognize the pack it belonged to, though she would have been shocked to discover that the intruder belonged to the pack she had been born into. She had left months ago and she had been much younger then, so she did not recognize it as belonging to the pack with the name of flowers. It would be a shock.

Her light pink nose danced across the ground as she moved gracefully, following the scent intently. The defect of her folded ear affected her hearing in a small way, and it was possible that the inability to hear as distinctly from one ear had enhanced her sense of smell. Foxglove followed the scent further into the territory, hesitating as she came across the fallen tree with many carvings embedded in its surface. Whoever the intruder was, they had passed by here, perhaps pausing to look at the intricate carvings.

Following the scent deeper and deeper into the tribe's territory, she began to realize that it was heading in the direction of the stables. She had explored on her own after her arrival in the tribe, but had not lingered there for very long. It had not held much interest for her, but perhaps the stranger in the tribe's land would find it fascinating and could be found there. The girl turned her jade eyes upwards for a moment, scanning the area, before she lowered her nose to trace the path of movement along the ground again.

The stables entered her line of sight and she slowed, peering at the cattle briefly before focusing on a small figure close to the stables themselves. It was a puppy, though as she knew, not one of the tribe. For that moment, she merely watched, interested in how the puppy would react to being found by a member of the tribe. A soft smile graced the gypsy girl's muzzle, however. She could hardly consider a puppy a threat or someone in need of harsh treatment for trespassing.
