Amazing table by Sara Joe

Ayita had not been to halifax in such a long time. She figured it was time that she gathered things that she could onl find here. Blue eyes cast on the land she smiled thinking about what she wanted to get. She wanted to start being of more use to her pack she wanted to enjoy the life she lead.

Ayita looked at the bag she brought with her and she knew that she would need more things to be a midwife. She hoped to find a library or a bookstore. She wanted to read up on it. Afterall she was nothing more then an Autodidact Midwife and books were needed.

Stopping once more blue eyes just watched the land as she sighed. She wished she had brought her ever growing son but he was probably off seeing Amaranth and Jiva. He was growing up so fast.

This table has nothing t do with anything hurr XD

Io had made the long journey to Halifax yesterday, walking the whole way. Something which she'd rather not do. Neo had followed, for no reason as he would not take any weight on his back yet so that rendered him useless until further notice. The woman had no time to train him in her condition, nor the patience. Cooking was a different story however. That did not stress her out, ever, in fact it was the one thing that calmed her down.

Halifax was alot like Warsaw, though alot more run down and unimproved. Though it gave her a homely feeling, she would not let herself feel safe. Neo moved along behind her, stopping and knocking over several bins in sheer curiousity, displeasing the hybrid, who was not in the mood for her steeds stupidity.

The bookshop was here next step, she needed cook books and she knew the perfect place to get them. There was a book store that had several book in forgein languages, because if there was one thing she hated, it was reading in English. Going inside and making her way to a shelf, she finally found a book in her home tongue. She picked it up and read it ou loud to herself. "Jedna łyżeczka soli, oliwy z oliwek, kurczak, królik z łatwością wymienić...." Closing the book and placing it in her satchel, she smiled, 'Perfect'.

Ayita strode into Halifax she needed to find the book store. She smiled finding the place she had called home. Well home due to the fact the woman loved to read. She just felt at ease in a book store or library. She walked up to the old building maybe it would be best if her kind could make some of the marvels of the human world Fixing and preserving the old buildings and passing on the tales for generations to come.

Ayita laid her hand on the chipping wood that paint had once covered as she looked at the open door she gently pushed it. Sliding in she slowly shut the door though the windows were already broken and shattered. She hoped that the books inside were not to badly damaged.

blue eyes readjusting to the dim lightly she spotted the young female. Her scent nothing she had recognized. she heard the girl say something and she just didn't understand so many canines came from different area's and spoke so many different tongues

"Hello" ayita said her voice low and calm. She had no idea what she was going to do but she hoped that this would be peaceful. Blue eyes scaned the fading signs to see if they had a section but she figured she would need to just search. Ayita couldn't tell from where she stood but the smell from the girl showed that she was pregnant. Moving herself to confirm this she smiled.
"Your expecting."

The hybrid frowned, thought still reamining frigtheningly stoic. 'Tak' she said slowly, using a more comfortable word for yes. 'And what of it?' Soft vowels and sharp constanents flew calmly from the woman's maw, betraying her mind set. Her brain was telling her to snap at the female, but Io was not stupid, she knew when to remain calm and whatever happened, she had her knifes in her satchel. Though this woman wouldn't attack her, she could tell simply from the way she spoke.

'Who are you?' Io asked, her grip tightening on the strap of her satchel. Her hand drifted towards another book, and a quick glace down certified that this was another book that may fit the bill. Another longer glace down to the now open book deemed it sutible and the hybrid then held it with a single hand, so that the cover, decorated with word forgein to most were on show to the stranger.

Ayita had begun to search the shelves for the books she needed. I am a midwife, well hopefully. I'm looking for books about medicine." She stated as she looked back at the shelving letting her mind wander to what she needed.

She turned to the women yet again. "Ayita Catori" She said as she looked at the book. Then back to shelf in front of her. She had found the section she needed and she needed to find what she could. Basic herbal medicines were her first stop then more books on animal birthing and human birthing. She wanted to compare them due to the fact of the changing bodies.

"You must like books as well." She said side stepping away as she continued to pull books off the shelves. She pulled one down and glared at it. She had never seen a book like this. Opening it she sighed the language was foreign and she didn't understand it. Sliding the book back she smiled pulling out another.

Io remained stoic as the woman spoke, though she wpuld not hinder the woman in her search for books. 'There is no point in looking here then, these are all in my language'. She refered to her home tongue as hers, due to the fact that no one here spoke it, well as far as she knew. Sarajevo only knew a few word and phrases, he was not in Io's home pack for long, and the amount he did know was soon faded from his mind when he realised English was more widly used. But Io never forgot.

'Io Berlin' the hybrid said, her tone steady.

The coydog scoffed, 'Think again. I read purely what I need to, nothing else. And avoiding English language books if I can'. The woman reopened the book, flicking through til she found a recipe for some sort of meal made of bread and various meats. She nodded to herself and began to read to herself, fully aware of the stranger, 'Ayita', that stood before her. "Różne wędliny, pieczywo, sos...
"
Trailing off as she began to read too faster for her words to catch up, the woman soon finished the paragraph she was reading and turned back to Ayita. 'See that was all relevent, so I am taking it with me. Had it not it would of stayed here'.

Io paced over the the other shelf, 'So you want books about medicine? English language ones may be around here'. She gazed up at the shelf, struggling over the english titles, but decoding them after a moment.
