WC:307 OOC: Let the belly loving begin hehehe Big Grin

She was laying down in her hut, relaxing for once, the pups were moving, making her feel uncomfortable, she could swear there were at least four in her... then again with all the limbs they had she didn’t know, but she knew one thing... one of t hem loved her spleen enough that she was now in near constant pain, another lay on her bladder, causing her to frequently have to use the restroom, and she felt heavy, so very heavy, her body was not use to the weight, and it felt so good just to lay down. Liliana wondered where Nayati was. She was finally able to feel the pups on the outside, it was strange and surreal, as though something inside were pushing to get out sometimes other times it was as though something were carressing her belly, happy and joyful it was in such a nice warm snug place. Liliana’s moods changed often, but she always loved the sight of her mate’s face, and had not snapped at him like she could with any of the other members. She was glad because she didn’t want to hurt Nayati any more.

Laying down she started humming. It was the song her parents had taught her, and it seemed to calm the pups nestled in her down. It was always a good way to get some relaxation. There was still quite a few weeks left before she would become a mother. She wondered how big she would get, she was having torubles already, though nothing that seemed life threatening and she wouldn’t worry Nayati, so she hadn’t mentioned any of the pain she felt, though she would surely consult Dawali if she thought thing were serious, but she didn’t think anything was, and would continue her day as soon as her rest was over.

Nayati had been spending more time for "personal" hunting as of late. Of course he was still sure to catch plenty for the use of the tribe as a whole, but he was putting an equal focus on making sure that his mate was getting all she wanted. Not only did he make an effort to make sure she was well fed, for that was crucially important, but the man also wanted to bring a variety of food home for her to eat. He remembered when his mother had been pregnant with his little brothers and sister that she had wanted various meats, not just the same usual fare all the time. Each day he tried to bring something new home for her dinner, of to catch the same thing he had the previous night if it had tasted especially good to her. The Utina was doing everything he could to make sure Liliana was happy and comfortable. As her belly swelled with their pups, he worked all the harder, knowing that it had to be a little difficult for her what with all the rapid changes of her body.

The Gadui Kanati had been particularly successful today, shooting down a couple of mallard ducks. He had returned to the village to pluck the bodies clean of feathers and then walked back to his new hut with his catches securely grasped in one hand. Nayati pushed aside the flap and smiled as he saw Liliana resting and humming a little tune, no doubt one that her parents had taught her. "How are you Nuttah?" he said softly as he came over to where she lay and sat down with his legs crossed. "I caught you some ducks for supper tonight. Hopefully you and the little ones will like them." The man placed his free hand on her rounded stomach as he looked at his mate with all his love in his eyes.

Liliana’s eyes opened as she heard the movement from the opening of their new hut. She smiled widely as she saw her mate come in with a pair of fine looking ducks. Yes they were going to eat well. He had treated her so wonderfully since he found out she was pregnant, no less than he would if she wasn’t, but with more care for her condition. She sat up on her elbows smiling before pulling herself to a sitting position.

“That sounds wonderful my love, I think everyone will be jealous when they can smell it through the village”

She giggled. She felt the pups squirming a little more now, missing the soft hum vibration her voice had given them. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at her mate.

“They are moving! Come feel them!”

She said quietly. It seemed as though the sun was shining through the walls of their new place. She was the happiest of wolves there, even for a short time. She was proud to have Nayati and her pups, She was glad to say she had the best family anyone could have, even if her parents were gone, her family now was growing and getting better. It made her feel wonderful.

He had still been quite young when his mother had become pregnant again, but he clearly remembered all of it. Of course his father had done most of the work of taking care of Talulah, but Nayati had been eager to help too. He had been excited to be a big brother, especially since he had been the only pup to survive of the litter he had been born into; his sister had never even taken her first breath. That excitement was nothing compared to this though, and the Utina greatly mimicked the way his father had taken care of his mother during her last pregnancy. Beneath all his joy though was an underlying layer of fear. No matter how well he took care of Lili, things could still go wrong, their pups could still not survive, just as his own littermate hadn't. For now he buried those worries deep inside, only wanting to show strength and confidence for his mate.

Nayati chuckled at her words. "Let them be jealous. It is only meet that the mate of the Gadui Kanati eat like a Chieftaness while she is carrying his pups." Usually most everything he brought back from hunts was shared with the tribe, but during this time there was no guilt in keeping the best back for her. He was not doing it for himself, he was doing it for her and for the lives growing steadily within her womb. Speaking of those little souls, he could suddenly feel movement within the mound of her stomach and his eyes widened in wonder. The man's heart skipped in his chest as he grinned excitedly at Liliana. "I can feel them!" He placed the ducks on the ground and brought his other hand to feel her belly, taking in the squirms of their children.

Liliana Utina
Some pretty lyric goes here trallala

Liliana’s feeling of love and appreciation for Nayati grew more as he spoke. She knew she could never do this alone, and was thankful for what help he could give her and knew that he would be a great father when her children were born. Then when he felt the movement of the puppies, his eyes seemed to shine with happiness. They were the eyes of a father, knowing full well his children were there. Though he could not see him he was already taking good care of him. Liliana sat up, knowing her rest was pretty much over. She looked at her mate with loving eyes.

“I am so glad that you are happy I can’t wait to see them, and hold them.

She said, she was still in her early pregnancy, but she knew that she had a ways to go, though she didn’t mind the attention, she didn’t care for the discomfort they were giving her either, though in the end it would be well worth it.

“I wonder what they will be like? What they would want to do? I hope I can be as good a mother as you would be a father.”

She said. Her last statement was not really a worry for her, she knew she had a great mother growing up, and she would use what her mother had taught her, though she did not teach her much purposefully, more by how the woman had treated Liliana at a younger age. Lili could remember every detail, though she knew one thing. If something ever happened to Nayati, she would not leave her children to join him in the afterlife. She loved him with vigor, but she knew she would love her children, and she would always be there for them until the great deity, whatever it was, would take her own life away. She would not speed the process up like her mother did. She put a hand over Nayati’s and smiled, loving his touch, and knowing she would always be his forever.

short and kinda cruddy, sorry :<

Nayati had always wanted to be a father, it had always been his dream. He wanted it even more than he had desired to raise to the top of his profession. It was likely the strong family drive that he held. Now that he was coming ever closer to fatherhood, ever closer to it becoming a reality, it was almost hard to believe. It was amazing to think the turns his life had made since he had picked up and moved from the Great Tribe to here. He had come here following after his best childhood friend (and for a while, he had hoped them to be more than friends) and after Asha had left without a word Nayati had felt lost. But then Liliana had come into his life. He had risen to Gadui Kanati and then he had become mated. And now, now there were strong little lives growing inside Lili's womb. He could feel them. "How could I be anything but happy?" It was an honest question, he could not fathom feeling any other emotion.

His mate put voice to the same things that he wondered. What would they look like? What paths would their skills and passions take them down? "I wonder the same things, though we will found out soon enough," he said with a smile to Lili. Even though there was not concern in her voice as she talked of her ability to be a mother, Nayati looked deep into her golden-hued eyes. "You will be a wonderful mother Lili. There is not a doubt in my heart of that truth." She would do everything for their pups, and love them unconditionally, just as he would.

WC: 344 OOC: Yesterday Liliana and Nayati have known each other for a year!!!

She could not answer that question and nor would she try, she knew he could be as happy as she was at the moment, feeling the new life inside her, his pups. She knew his love filled the whole of their new home, and soon their home would be filled with the sound of puppies. Happy rambunctious ones at that. She hoped. She had been lively as a pup herself, always curious, but cautious too, only because she learned at an early age what it was like to be half wolf half dog, these pups would be more than dog though, they would have more wolf than Liliana had, and knew they would look more like her father than her, but that was fine with the long haired wolfdog, they would not have to go through what Liliana had, and Lili would not stand for it. She loved her family already and would stick up for them, the pack had been included into her family, though her immediate was more of her concern.

“I think they will look more like you, I hope they do.”

She smiled, though she did little voicing of her own pities, she was sure he knew the reason for this comment. She didn’t care about it though, she did want her pups to look like him, or at least a mixture of them maybe.

“Maybe we can go for a walk, my resting is done, I need to stay fit for when they come.”

She said, finding her time with him was always calm. She remembered this time last year they had met, thinking of that brought a grin to her face. To see how far they had come was amazing.

“Do you remember our first meeting?”

She asked as she stood up, only with slight difficulties, she was still fit, and her belly was not so round yet, but she was unbalanced, though making up for it as her belly grew with the life within.
