This was a new place for her. She had never been to Phoenix Valley, and a neutral land nearby would suffice. The bicolored female walked along in the forest. These were unfamiliar lands to her, but she needed a nice walk after settling in to her new home. Anathema. She was in a pack now and she wasn’t used to it. She loved to travel, and she wasn’t sure if others from the pack left the borders as much as she did. She didn’t care.

The soft ground almost made no noise as she walked. The trees started dense, but they began to fan out as she walked deeper into the ‘forest.’ She was looking for the perfect spot to set up shop. The perfect tree. Soon after, she found one. The tree was by a stream, and the sound of the water was quite comforting. She plopped her bag down and propped herself against the tree. And what a comfortable tree it was! She sat there for a moment staring straight ahead and not moving. Listening. There was no sound aside from her own inhalation and exhalation, the creek, and a distant sound of waves. She was alone.

Good. Her feet hurt from all the walking she had done. She pushed herself off the ground and walked over to the creek. She sat on the bank and dipped her feet into the cool water. She didn’t wish to get any wetter. She sat there listening to the sounds of the water. They were very calming.

She sat there thinking. She thought about what she would do while she was here. She had the items to make her potions, or she had the supplies to get high. And she also had the supplies to make her high potion. She didn’t know what it was that she put in it, but she knew what it looked like and that when you drank it, it made you feel funny. She pulled her feet out of the water, walked back over to her tree and plopped back down. She took the supplies from her bag and began setting up. She took a small bowl, and various pouches, and also a ‘masher.’ Then she took out two canteens full of liquid and set them aside. She opened the one pouch and took out some colorful pieces of mushroom and put them into the bowl. She opened the other pouch and took out some dark green leaves and also added those to the bowl. Then she used to ‘masher’ and mashed the two together until it was a brown muck. Then she took one of the canteens and added whatever liquid was in it to the bowl. Just a little bit.

Then she used the ‘masher’ to stir all the ingredients together. The result was a chunky porridge. She brought the bowl up to her lips and ingested some of the mixture. Then she placed the bowl next to her, and sat back against the tree. This was going to be fun.

A pair of annoying birds woke her from her mid afternoon nap that she had been enjoying very much, as she rolled her petite body over onto her right side, blue and amber gaze glared at the offending reptiles with wings who didn't notice or presumably care that she was doing so at them. Jace slowly sat up and stretched out her body, running hands over herself to make sure no leeches or ticks had decided to attach themselves to her. That was a thing about being down here in a warmer land, there were many many pests that liked to feast on her blood. With a feminine shudder the wolf-dog pulled herself to her feet, gaze going to her still disturbingly empty stomach and a frown curved her lips downwards, distorting the scars across her face.

She paid little attention to her direction as she wandered aimlessly and only dimly noted when she left Phoenix Valley territory and crossed into neutral lands. Ashen paws took her where they would although her head knew subconsciously to stay near to the borders in case of an emergency. Therefore she was completely baffled when she suddenly stumbled upon a woman on the floor with her back against a tree and a bowl of something in her hands. She looked almost as strange as Jace did, one half of her was white and the other black with bi colored eyes of a strange color. Brown eyebrows rose and black maw opened but no words came out at first,

"Hello... who are you? What have you got there?" She was curious, her nose didn't really tell her anything about the concoction apart from that it contained plants and mushrooms, it made her nose tingle when she breathed its scent in. Head cocked to the side inquisitively.

Her strange concoction was already starting to work. She stared out into the air in front of her noticing that everything was moving so slowly. There were a few birds that flew by and it looked as if it took them minutes to pass. There wings flapped so slowly that they looked like they wouldn’t hold their owners up. She wanted wings. She wished she could fly. She picked up her heavy arms from their sides and flapped them like a bird, but slowly. They felt so heavy, like they had a bolder strapped to each one. She looked at herself. Her colors intrigued her, almost like she had never seen herself before. She stared at herself for a moment before looking elsewhere.

She looked toward the water and saw its sparkle. Her eyes widened in highness as she watched it glisten. The water looked like a bunch of diamonds just floating and shining. Awesomeness. The tree behind her felt rough, and when she turned around to look at it, it winked at her. She squeezed her eyes shut and shook her head. Then she looked back at it, and the tree winked again.

Hello.

She spoke to the tree. Her voice sounded slow and low pitched, almost like someone else’s voice. She blinked slowly, wondering about it for a moment before shrugging slowly and leaning back against the tree. She stared at the ground now, with all its mucky leaves around. It was almost like padding. If she wanted to lie down, it would be like a natural bed. She lost herself thinking about the naturalness of the ground and didn’t even realize someone approach her. Their voice sounded almost as slow and low as hers and she blinked up at them. If they were dangerous, Axelle had no type of chance at this moment. She couldn’t even understand what the wolf before her was saying, and by what she was hearing she couldn’t tell if it was a female or a male. All she knew was that she had some goop left in the bowl and looked down towards it. She stretched her hand out and grabbed the bowl. She peered inside with great weirdness and handed it toward the stranger.

Take some.

She didn’t even know how she sounded right now, but she sounded really, really high. She licked her lips feeling herself drooling, but she wasn’t. She closed her eyes and dropped her head back toward the winking tree. It landed with a low thud, but she didn’t notice the pain at all. This would be a good way to die.

Die?! What was she thinking?! That was just it, she wasn’t thinking. She was too high to think. At all. Now she was drooling, and she couldn’t feel it, couldn’t notice how disgusting she looked, but she felt the greatest pleasure she had ever felt. Her whole body tingled with happiness. She felt the bodily warmth of the winking tree behind her, almost like it was an alive, breathing somebody. She opened her eyes toward the sky, seeing those same floating birds and lifting her hand to her mouth to wipe the drool away. She dropped her arm into her lap and just stared upward. She hadn’t even realized if her new neighbor had taken any yet. Well, they better sit down.

You should sit down before you take some.

She didn’t even know if she was too late when she said it, but it didn’t really matter right now. Soon, her new friend would be feeling this same experience she was feeling and probably be as lost as she was.

Her head throbbed, but not with pain. It was a good, brain-working kind of throb. She felt smart, and smelled weird things as she sat there stupidly. She looked down at her bag and saw all her little bags still on the forest floor.

Better put them away before the little squirrels come and steal them.

She moved her heavy arms toward her things on the floor. Her fingers tried to grab at the items, but she couldn’t feel them. Somehow, she managed to get a grip on the two little bags of ‘herbs’ and sloppily throw them into the main compartment of her satchel. The rest would have to be done later since she couldn’t get a good grip on anything. She raised her hand to her face and screamed at it to move. One finger did, and she dropped her hand to her lap again and stared forward, lost.

sorry for failness XD 3+

The woman sat on the floor before her looked as though her brain was currently living on a whole other planet than the one Jace was on, especially when she turned and began talking to the tree she was resting against. Jace took the bowl from her on instinct, the female's insistence that she take it only served to heighten her curiosity further. She sniffed at the bowl and the resulting sensations caused her to sneeze violently and almost drop the bowl, ending in a scramble of claws for her to grab hold of it firmly again. Again her attention was pulled to the strange actions of the females and she sniggered into her hand as the black and white woman began to drool on herself. Fumes of the drug soup must have been in the air as she found herself wishing to join in on this fun more and more the longer she stayed.

She sat herself down upon command and as though already intoxicated by Axelle's actions and words voluntarily drank the rest of the drug soup within the bowl. Her lurching movements were amusing to Jace and she laughed as her new friend tried to put her stuff away and then began screaming at her hand. All at once a crushing headache decended down upon her and she grabbed her head and howled with the pain of it, she looked up at the woman with scorn in her eyes, clearly this stuff had been tampered with and started to growl angrily before the drugs began to take full effect. Her angry snarl melted away as her pupils expanded in size to conceal almost all of the rest of her eyes. She flopped about uselessly and giggled every now again, marveling at how soft her fur felt when she stroked it, Jace swayed back and forth although to her it seemed she was moving really slowly.

The other’s sneezing sounded like a kazoo, a human instrument she saw in a book once. Axelle looked dreamily at Jace, and watched her sit, then consume the rest of the contents of the bowl. They were probably poisons, but they made one’s day fun. Axelle was lost against the tree, and pushing back on it she could’ve sworn the tree felt plushy. She raised a hand, and poked the tree with her index finger. The bark seemed to indent, and ripple out, but the feeling didn’t feel the same. The tree felt hard, but didn’t look it. She liked the rippling effect, and kept playing with it. She elbowed it, hurting herself but not realizing the pain. Harder and harder she poked at Mr. Tree, and all he did was wink at her. Maybe he’s aroused. She stopped poking at it, and looked at the tree wide eyed. She stood up, wobbled a bit, and stumbled toward another tree close by where she sat and leaned. That one didn’t wink at her, actually it didn’t even have a face like the other one.

Mr. Tree kept looking at her with those horny eyes. He kept winking, and Axelle became angry. She growled loudly, but he didn’t look away or stop winking. Usually if one was smart, after the warning growl you’d pretend like you’ve never even noticed they were there and walk away. Nope, this stupid tree kept looking. ”What the fuck are you looking at?!” She screamed at it, and picked up a nearby rock. She examined the rock, which had a big centipede crawling underneath. She left the centipede where it was, and flung the rock toward the tree. The centipede’s guts squished, and the horny tree’s face shattered like glass. Then the rock bounced off the tree, and smashed the bowl on the ground. In a normal person’s mind, they would just be seeing a normal tree with now bug guts on it, but no. She saw brown glass all over where she was sitting, and bug goo dripping down where its face used to be, and then realized she destroyed her bowl. ”Shit,” the bowl didn’t really matter. She just felt accomplished that she had murdered Mr. Tree. "Exactly," were her finishing words.

Then she returned her gaze back to the stranger that was probably sitting there having as much of a trip as Axelle was having. ”Who are you?” She seriously didn’t know. She didn’t know if the other was a he or she either, but she wouldn’t ask. ”Are you a boy?” Woops. It slipped. Her hazy eyes could barely tell if the other was a canine, no matter if they were a ‘he or a she.’ Axelle leaned comfortably against her new tree, and gazed up at the sky. She was calm and so were her hallucinations for now, ”My names Axelle…”

By this time, the other’s growling fit had already long passed and she was now rolling around in the dried leaves, but Axelle had a delayed reaction, ”Just chhhiiiillllllll.” Axelle got on her hands and knees, and crawled over to the shattered tree. She snatched up her bag, but only dragged it half way back. The bag sat in the center of the two females, and looked catawampus. Axelle cocked her head and looked at it for a moment before crawling over and dragging it the rest of the way. She checked her things, and cursed, “Fuck, the squirrels stole the rest of my damn mushrooms.” She had used them all in her concoction.

XD yess can put absolute crap 3+

She was floating! She could swear she was flyyyying. The woman grinned stupidly at the sky and waved her arms as though she could float up to the sky and she made a low sounding 'wheeee' noise until she decided that flying was a stupid thing to do and instead began to stroke the grass and flora between her legs and around her, threading her fingers through the grass stalks and murmuring to herself, her huge dilated eyes looking around dreamily and she was totally unaware of the fight her drug mate was having with the amorous tree she had been leaning against. She jumped in surprise as the bi colored woman suddenly screamed at the horny tree and threw a rock at it, she watched as Axelle got one over on the tree and toilted her head to the side, adding a half assed "Yeah" onto the end of whatever it was she was doing.

Now the other focused onto Jace and she looked back at her surprised that there was someone there when she could have sworn she had been alone not two seconds ago,

"Woah, when did you get here? You were a tree just then." Her washed out mind couldn't even comprehend what the question about her gender meant, instead she stretched out a paw toward's Axelle as though to stroke her before saying "I'm Jace, mmm from Phoenix Valley. Look at my hand! It's sooooo wierd.!!" Then she started laughing loudly and swaying from side to side again, watching Axelle try to retrieve her bag and failing once, now that was fucked up! Fucking squirrels always stealing people's shit!

"We should like totally go hunt them down and hit them with uhh rocks or shit." She smiled lazily and tried to push herself to her feet but only managing to reach to her knees.

Hehe ! These are funnnnn Big Grin

Axelle’s high was starting to wear off, she was now kind of understanding what was going around her. She finished looking through the contents of her bag, now successfully putting things were they belonged in there. Then she pushed the bag aside and leaned against the tree. She quickly ‘unleaned’, and swung around to face the tree. It didn’t have a face or a perverted wink. Good. Then she made herself comfortable again against it.

Axelle watched the other’s, now noticing it was a she, hand come closer and closer, and then stroke the fur on her outstretched leg. She didn’t say anything, and just watched until the female, called Jace, pulled it back. Axelle did as she was told and looked at Jace’s hand. It didn’t look that weird. Axelle looked at her own hands. Now that was weird, two different colored hands. What the Hell.

She dropped her hands into her lap once again, and stared. The centipede goo sliming off the tree looked sparkly. She wondered what it tasted like. She managed to get up off her ass, and walked over to the shattered tree. She stuck her tongue out, and licked the bug chow off the tree. It tasted like peanut butter! She had peanut butter once. In a human’s house, probably really old peanut butter, but it tasted peanutty. She returned her tongue to her mouth and smacked her lips taking in the new taste. Interesting.

Squirrels. ”Yeah, those little bastards. If you see any of them, hit them with this,” Axelle picked up the horny tree face smashing rock from the ground, and tossed it to her, not sure if she would catch it and not really giving a shit. She turned toward the water, which was her new fascination at the moment, and sat on the bank. ”Hey Jace, you should experience this with me.” She was all about experiencing right now. Her eyes grew wide as she watched the sparkly, diamond-like water flow. She dipped her toes into the water, and the coldness felt like snow. She wanted to swim in the snow. Axelle dropped her bag nearby the bank, and jumped in the water. She totally submerged herself in the murky snow water, and emerged feeling like a new person. She smiled manically at Jace.

muse died part way through -.-

She giggled some more, not sure what at but she didn't care, it was all just so funny to her at the moment. She tilted her head back and looked at the clouds with her moth open and a strong of drool dangling from her lips. She felt the drool stream several seconds after it formed and jerked back from it and watched in amazement as it fell in slow motion onto the grass. The rock Axelle threw she attempted to catch it and completely missed it, in the process falling over onto her side with the rock a few inched from her outstretched hand. She looked at it dumbly for a few seconds before wriggling snake like towards it and picking it up.

By the time she had managed to stand to her feet the other woman had gotten into the water after calling for her,

"I mmma coming." She staggered over to the riverbank and fell onto her butt beside it and dangled her feet into the shiny water. The water was freezing and she suddenly re-remembered her fear of the water and pulled them back out, trying to wipe the water from them with her paws, whimpering when the fur of her paws got wet as well. The maniac smile of Axelle only served to freak her out even more and the woman curled in on her self like a pup in the womb.

It's not that baddd =]

Axelle flopped playfully around in the water by herself, not really paying attention to Jace. She cupped some water in her hands, and it was so damn sparkly! She studied it with awe written on her face, and stared at it like it was a new species of animal or something. So much wonder. She released the water and let it splash back into itself. Then she picked up more, she wondered if it tasted like snow. She sipped some of the snowy water from her hands, and… It did! What an amazing discovery! Snow water that tasted exactly like snow! A big smile stretched across her muzzle again at her newfound discovery, and she turned to share it with Jace.

What she found of her wasn’t what she had expected to see. Axelle dropped the snow water into itself again. Jace was lying in a fetal position, curled up on the bank. Axelle looked at her with worry in her face. She wasn’t as high as she was anymore, but shit was still unreal. It looked as if there were little ants crawling all over Jace, and she tried to pluck one off and eat it. They mustve been ghost ants because she was unable to pick them off of her new friend. ”There are ghost ants all over you, Jace.” Axelle still eyed her with curiosity. She had no idea why her friend was curled up in a ball, but then again she didn’t understand a lot of things today. So, why did it matter?

She still kept her worried gaze on Jace, but continued to flop around in the water. The snow water was just so amazing with all of its little diamonds flowing around together. She couldn’t believe her own eyes. They kept switching from the water, and back to Jace. To the water, and then back to Jace again. Her ears went flat when she realized her friend wasn’t okay. She swished over in the water toward her, ”Are you okay?” She was serious now.

The woman shook from her fear hardly noticing her high mate anymore, Jace's pupils had completely contracted and had become tiny pinpricks of back within the swirling depths of her blue and amber gaze that held clearly visible her absolute terror and fright. In her mind she was regressing back to her childhood, she could see all around her was the ice and snow and she was with the few other pups of her age, they were playing on the ice, trying to see who could run the fastest on the slippery surface and then there had been an almighty cracking sound and one of her playmates had disappeared into the murky icy cold depths. There was screaming and then adults had come running with axes and spears, a second hole smashed into the ice and a barely alive body hauled from the freezing water. The small boy was shivering fiercely his eyes rolling wildly as his parents finally arrived on the scene. Then the pup had gone limp and a different scream heard, that of a mourning mother. She remembered shaking wildly against her sister and then her mother picked them both up and cuddled them to her breast, all three of them shivering together at what could have happened. Her fear of the water had been with her ever since that day.

her eyes snapped to the side fearfully as Axelle appeared back in her vision and she whimpered,

"Out! Get out of the water! You'll freeze to death. It happened before, I saw him! He was right in front of me and then he was gone down through the ice and when they pulled him out he died instantly." She reached out a paw and grabbed onto the woman's fur and tugged weakly as though to pull her out of the water.

Poor Jace is having a bad trip =/

The femme freaked out before her, and Axelle just stared silently. So, supposedly her friend drowned in the icy waters. Axelle looked around herself, now her high really fading, and saw no ice. Then she tested the current, and it wasn’t strong at all. Then she looked back at Jace to attempt to calm her down, but the female’s hand reached out and grabbed Axelle. She loosely tried to pull her out of the water, only weakly shaking Axelle in the process. ”Okay, okay. I’ll get out.” Axelle carefully untangled her friend’s fingers out of the fur on her shoulder, and climbed onto the bank. She was wet, and now dirty from sitting on the soggy bank, but still alive.

”See? I’m alive. Now, get up please.” She concentrated on pulling Jace up from the ground by her armpits, gently. She softly rubbed the female’s fur in a cajoling way with her damp hands. Poor Jace was limited to painful zugzwangs. If she opened her eyes and saw the water, it would bring back painful memories, and if Axelle attempted to move her away from it, she would get her wet also causing painful memories and probably violent terror in the female. Axelle just caressed her fur and hoped that Jace would come out of this herself.

Her high was definitely not a high anymore. The water's diamondy effect faded until it almost looked normal, and she no longer had the urge to taste strange things. The trees no longer winked at her, and she couldn't really remember why she had a funny bug taste in her mouth. She still felt a little dizzy, and probably would’ve been acting a little silly had this situation not been happening. She wondered how Jace was feeling in the high department. From the events of today, maybe Axelle would lay off the 'Shroom Soup for just a little while.

She hyperventilated harshly, her breath sounding like it was being strangled from her and tears were on the edge of falling from her eyes and being held back only just. Her eyes were wide and staring and the disturbing urge to try and collect as many frogs as she could and hoard them all was rising within her but then she supposed it wend hand in hand with the desire to find her mate and pull strands of his fur out. Even as she thought about them her high was beginning to fade, the trauma ending it faster than normal, although she was still suitably buzzed.

She breathed a sigh of relief when Axelle got out of the water, now able to relax and not worry that her friend would be swept away or hurt by ice. She lolled around uselessly as her two sided friend tried to get her to sit up from the floor, she did help by trying to push out with her legs but they just ended up flopping stupidly. She finally ended up somehow on her knees with the black and white woman rubbing her fur, she let herself fall forwards and ended up with her head resting in Axelle's bosom. There was nothing sexual about the contact just the wanting to lean against someone. She shifted position and tried to give the woman a hug for staying with her.

"I think I should go home now." Her voice was almost normal now although her thoughts were still jumbled a bit, she also felt a bit nauseous down in her stomach and felt her whole body jerk, she pulled her head back and covered her mouth with her hand before scrabbling for the bank of the river and throwing up the contents of her stomach into the water.

Yes, you could end with your reply—she has the urge to horde frogs ? xD

Jace finally got up and Axelle was relieved. Jace attempted to help pull herself up, but only failed at the attempt, and fell into Axelle’s chest. This surprised her, but she held the girl in her arms, and rocked her softly. She knew if she were to have an episode like that, she would want someone to console her out of it, too.

Axelle felt Jace’s arms wrap around her, and a deadpan expression arose on her face. She wasn't used to affectionate moves like this, but squeezed back as she felt the embrace. Then the young woman tore away from her, and hurled into the stream. Axelle watched calmly, thankful it wasn’t on her. ”Yeah, I think I’m going to get out of here, too.” She left Jace by the stream so that she could clean up, and went to collect her things. She was a lot more stable on her feet now, and her fingers were actually working. She assembled the things that were not already in her bag, and threw the satchel over her shoulder. There was nothing left to do. The bowl was broken and the mushrooms were all eaten.

Now, she stood nearby Jace and the stream. ”Well Jace, it was nice to get high with you. Hopefully we meet again, someday.” Axelle made sure she was alright before turning away from her and walking in the opposite direction. She didn’t turn back, and she didn’t wait for an answer from the other. She was feeling the after high, and would probably feel shitty for a couple of hours. Axelle was feeling kind of stuffy herself. She wanted to get home and lay down as soon as possible. Before totally disappearing, she turned back to Jace and waved a final goodbye. Then she turned and hurried toward Anathema.
