It was a day so fine, she had a damn near skip in her step. At least she would have if she had not been reduced to gimping around so long ago by her cheerily insane offspring, Meth. The lands of bleeding souls were gone now. His grave, his beauty, swept away by the ashes. But it was a fitting thing, and it made her quite content deep within her soul. Things made so much sense now. Why she had so much trouble staying there, despite all the reasons she had to. The lands had been tainted. Fouled by Damian's flesh, turned rotten with the decay of his soul. But the fire, the fire had seared that to its grave. She was free in this new world.

Free to plot and scheme, and attempt to snatch back some sense of dignity. Some idea of her place in the world. She knew it was in Chimera, but that monster was lost. Perhaps a new beast could live up to its memory. Her mind was torn away from its ramblings for a moment to observe the surroundings, which she did with an amused eye. The land was awfully green here, no doubt soon to spring about with some form of wildlife. She let out a content sigh though, a light rain would be coming soon. Her joints ached when the weather would turn wet. Perhaps it was time to retreat to some semblance of home soon. A pity, she had hoped for some form of company.

Sorry this is late, I just got up (it's 15:40 here) and I'm so hungover >_<

Water crashing onto the shore, Mew watched the waves in delight. Once again the new lands proved proper competition to the old ones, despite what she had originally thought. Having followed the shoreline she had met this beachlike place, strange, yet beautiful. Standing on a patch of grass amidst wild growths, sunflowers it seemed, she was amazed at how a shoreline could suddenly explode into a thick blanket of flowers. It being flat, she could see the ocean easily from the flowered fields, and it made quite a beautiful horizon. The bruised femme walked along, letting the scenery take away her dark thoughts. How could they not? Mew had always loved the sea, for some stupid reason. And because of that, she had nearly always ended up favoring areas that had a shoreline, making them her favorite place to sit and think. She had too many thoughts at the moment, however, and she didn't wish to follow any of them in her head. Silently wishing she could allow herself a bath, she winced at her growing wound on her shoulder blade. Her face was still aching, and so was her throat where she had been grabbed, but it wasn't that bad. What she could not keep her mind off was the sudden pains along her spine - yet it had not been damaged in her violent encounter with the inferni coyote. Shaking her head, as if it would help take the thoughts away, Mew stopped to stare in the other directions that the land spanned over.

Just as herself, Mew spotted another solitary walker, and at first decided against approaching the moving form. She was weak, what if this other wolf, too, decided she was worth a laugh killing? Shrugging to herself, she changed her mind. If the encountered other also decided to kill her, then so be it. It would, perhaps, be better than the imminent future she feared. Calmly walking up to the other, still wincing every now and then at her various pains, she held her body posture calm, friendly, yet respectful. What did she know of what rank this female had in her own pack, or anything of the like? Best not to take chances. Wolfess smiling, her melodic voice spoke a casual greeting. Hello. Come to watch the ocean aswell?
