A toy for you

Inrik was hard at work that morning, his hammer pounding and shifting metal. His furnace bellowed smoke as it heated the next item to shape. His muscles shifting in noticeable strain; a feeling he had grown addicted to. His face was hard with concentration as the clang of his hammer and anvil echoed through the streets. He had banged the piece of iron to the shape he wanted before the glow of hot metal started to fade. He dropped it carefully in the barrel of water at his side, it spit and sizzled steam as it lowered in. He paused a moment slightly panting from the heat. He stepped away to drink from a leather water.

Now that the sounds of his work subsided that’s when he heard a noise. He knew it was close and found himself drawn to it with a strange curiosity when his normal reaction would be one of passive ignorance. The heat must be getting to me today He whispered to himself to justify the feeling. Still he followed the sound he had yet to name. He drew his gold and silver hilted dagger as a natural reaction to someone of something suspicious. He didn’t seek for long because at the side of a collapsed house not far from his workstation was the source of the odd noise.

The last time that Bastion had been out this way was with Janos. They had come to get just what it was that Bastion was wearing. And well, the small boy thought that he should come and get some extras. it really couldn't hurt to have extras, now could it? this place was farther than Bastion typically liked to travel to alone. Still, Janos had his own rank and duties to attend to so he couldn't always pull him away if he wanted to head out somewhere. It was the same as it was now. Janos had stuff to attend and Bastion refused to wait. After all he had come this way once before and nothing had happened then so he didn't expect that anything should happen upon this trip either.

It wasn't that he was fearful and thought others would attack him for no reason at all. Usually his appearance thwarted those that thought to harm him. Still, he was generally cautious. He knew his own weaknesses and so that is why he had gotten himself a puppy to make up for those things that he couldn't do himself. So far Bastion didn't really have any bad blood with anyone. And those that he did couldn't do anything about it. They were either killed or captured so he didn't have any real enemies to worry about per say. That was why he was fairly confident enough to come all of the way out here by himself.

Bastion rummaged through abandoned buildings for more panties like the ones that he was wearing. Those along with his floral scent to mask the scent of the pack and his slight build gave him the appearance of a small girl who had yet to reach maturity. "Where be?" Even the short, incomplete sentences that he used when speaking made him seem even more like a child. And of course he was questioning no one but the air as he dug through the ruins in search of clothing to cover himself with. He noticed nothing else since he was focused on finding what it was that he wanted. That was why he tended to have his puppy with him, to keep a lookout since Bastion hardly paid attention to other stuff as he focused on one thing.

What Inrik had heard was the rummaging of a young one. He tilted his head curiously to the side a reaction that felt completely foreign to him so he straightened again. He had sniffed the air and though he saw a young female he scented a male. He went with his senses and would figure this was a male who noisily searched for something. He noticed then a small guard, again the similar reaction he had happened again. Inrik chuckled deeply as sheathed his dagger.

Greetings little one. What is that you seek? A smile had spread across the dark male’s face as he crossed his broad arms across his chest. A smile that actually looked like a smile, often his smiles were snarl like and almost scary. But this amusement built in him as he further inspected the male. From that point on Inrik knew he would be putty in this little guy’s hands. And that was just from making him chuckle.

I’m sure what ever it is you seek you can find on my wagon. Come. Inrik then turned and started to head back to his shop. Inrik’s large shire had been awaiting him around the corner as though curious himself. Inrik had patted Brute and pointed back to the stable which was the garage of the old house he inhabited. The shadowy male much enjoyed his new set-up, he liked the area but found he still had not received very many customers for such a highly populated area. His mind was still whirring with the possibility of staying here for good. He glanced back his eyes more orange than brown at that moment hoping to see the youth following.

When he had reached his wagon of wares ranging from junk metal, finished pieces of jewelry, weapons and even cookware, to meaningless trinkets. They were almost like souvenirs he had collected from either the females who adored him or the males who respected him. He pulled back the heavy stitched hide to bring light to his large flatbed wagon. The large male motioned to the side where Inrik had installed a stepping board along the bottom edge of the wagon. It was for those who were too short to overlook the edge of his wares cart. Hopefully what you seek might be in there, but I just ask that you only point to things you want to see and I will grab them for you. My name is Inrik Stone if you were wondering. What might be you’re name little one? He crossed his arms over his broad chest as he watched the young one.

Bastion glanced up from his search when he heard the words of another. It wasn't like he was finding what he was after so he wasn't really being interrupted from anything. And actually he could use the other male's offer of help. Not that he had stated it in those exact same words but the invitation was enough for him to come to that conclusion on his own. And well if the other could find what it was that he was seeking for him then that would just be great. Bastion wasn't against taking the easier path whenever it was presented to him. He didn't mind doing less work than he had to should he choose a different option.

"This." He motioned down to the panties that he was wearing when he answered the question as he followed after the other. At least that was the first thing on his mind to find. That wasn't to say that he wouldn't accept other things that he fancied. He could easily change his mind and what it was that he wanted. He did it often enough already. And well, being presented with so many different options of things that he could want in front of him then there was no doubt that he would probably end up changing his mind.

The small boy watched as the hide was moved and the hidden items were revealed for him to see. The youth was quick to climb up onto the step so that he could try and get a closer work of all that there was to see. "What that?" He asked and pointed to a necklace whose stones had attracted the male's gaze. He leaned the top half of his body against the back of the wagon so that he could try and get as close to the products as he could without actually touching them.

He hardly ever gave out his name. But then again he wasn't really ever asked for it too often either. At least not when on neutral terms. "Bastion." He spoke his name in a distracted manner as he was still looking around at the many things that the other had. "Hey, what that?" He asked as he pointed towards a pot. He was clearly displaying and interest in everything that the other had but it was with a childlike curiosity. He wanted to look at and touch everything, to learn the purpose of everything. It didn't mean that he would want it all to take with him. he just wanted to know about it. And of course he was still looking for more panties like the pair that he wore but he simply didn't see them right off if they were even contained within the back of the wagon. Right now he was just having fun looking at all of the new and different items that the other male had within his possession. It was a lot more than Bastion had to his name. The most he had were a few pairs of panties and that was it.

Inrik chuckled lightly as the boy showed what he had wanted. He knew perfectly well as to what they were and where to find them in his wagon. He had a chest full of clothing items that females had ‘forgotten’ in his midst. He was curious as to why the boy preferred this attire as there would be more suitable items even he could stitch for the boy. Even though he wasn’t born a female into his family his sisters would constantly practice with him as a model for their creations. He never much liked the task but their mutterings of their lessons had stuck with him. He had made his dark travelling cloak, it was the only thing he wore because he much rather preferred his comfort to style. He glanced at the cloak that hung off one of the posts of the wagon and smiled discreetly, his pride in many of his creations was what kept him working.

He was about to round to the opposite side of the wagon where the chest lay when the boy began pointing. Inrik nodded and reached for the necklace. This was given to me by a lady, she said she had found it in a city where there were many like it. She said these stones were her favorite color. He pointed to the pink gems in the middle of a cluster of diamonds that had surrounded the entire necklace up until the clasp. It can be worn around the neck. He handed it to the youth to inspect. He then reached for one of the copper pots he had created. This one I made, it is used to cook with. He set it on the edge of the wagon near Bastion.

He inspected the male for a moment. He wondered what someone as small as he was doing out on his own. He seemed unarmed, he wondered if he was just a gutsy little fellow. He rounded the wagon to the chest while the boy looked over the items. He heaved the chest over the edge and carried it. He dropped it on the grass and unclasped the latch. He opened it. Feel free to search through that, you will more than likely find what you seek. He went to where his anvil was set up just five feet from the chest. Some of his creations were set out on a spread deer hide for customers to see clearly. He stood and looked over the items glancing back Bastion while he rummaged through the chest. He found himself smiling again; it had probably been a record for himself when it came to being amused.

Bastion liked the panties because of the freedom it gave him. They acted like a second skin as they clung to his small frame. The panties served the purpose of hiding the the mark while not hindering his movements. It was only while he was outside of Salsola that he bothered with clothing. When he was inside of the pack's lands he didn't bother with any sort of clothing at all. So what he chose to wear was only there for the single purpose of covering up his marking. If not for that then he couldn't care at all about wearing any sort of clothing. Actually, he preferred going without honestly.

The boy grinned happily as the objects were placed in his possession. He was quite curious over many of the things that were tucked away into the back of the wagon. He wanted to look at, touch, and feel everything. There were so many new things that he had never seen before that he just had to learn more about. He looked over the items that he was handed but quickly his attention drifted elsewhere. He just couldn't remain focused on a single thing the entire time. Who possibly could with so many new and exciting artifacts dangling before them?

But his attention quickly slipped away from those things. No, the other had brought out something else that caught his attention instead. He dropped the necklace and the pot in order to be able to follow along after the other male. The small boy peered in the chest after it was opened for him and picked through the articles of clothing. That only lasted for a short amount of time because when he noticed the other had moved over to somewhere else he went following along after him again.

"What you doing?" He question as he looked over the large metal object that the other was near. He had no idea what it was or what it was for but he was destined to find out. After all he would continue to pester with questions until he finally got the answers that he wanted. He was such a nosy little thing that he really didn't mind pestering at all. How else was he to know if he didn't question everything?

Inrik smiled lightly as the youth approached behind him, he found Bastion as an odd relief from his usual indifference. He had wondered if one day his own pups would brighten him as much as this lad had. As he had looked over his wares, he made a slight nod and reached down onto the open hide of completed items. He picked up a small shiny dagger encrusted with a dark green jewel at the butt end of the silver hilt engraved with small flowers on a vine. He held the dagger in his hand and figured the weight was good and light. He turned to look at the curious wolf putting the dagger across his palms so it didn’t look like he was going to stick the lad with it.

I have a feeling this would be perfect for you. He allowed a genuine smile to release. He had knelt down to the small wolf’s height waiting for him to take the dagger if he wanted it. As he came closer he nodded as response of his choice, the dagger was also a perfect length and the hilt was most likely a fit to a small hand. He rarely gave wares for free but this little one he had felt deserved a little extra fun. Take it, its yours now.

Ah yes, bastion got so many different reactions. He was thought to be quite odd really. Those knowing his true age tended to wonder about his immature way of speaking. Others puzzled over his slim figure and floral scent belonging to a boy. But hardly any seemed to know what he was truly capable of should he put his mind to it. Hardly any would believe how easily he broke minds and created slaves. It was strange to think that he could kill as easily as he cuddled. But there were only a very slim few that knew that aspect. Many simply thought him an innocent child, at least those outside of the family. Those inside the family seemed to wonder why he even had the rank that he had.

He looked down at the dagger that was being presented to him. "Pretty." He spoke up, figuring that it was just being shown off. After all he had no way that he could give the anything for it. He honestly had nothing to give in return for such a gift. Of course he wanted it though. There were so many things that he could do with it. So many little animals that he could carve open in order to peek at their insides. Oh yes, he really wanted this. And when he was given to him he grinned.

He reached to try and hug the other male. "Thank you." The words were uttered eagerly with a wag of his tail. He picked up the dagger and turned it in his hands, looking it over and examining it. The design didn't even matter to him. It was about having something sharp in his hands. Something that he would be able to easily do damage with.

"Have to go." He said once he noticed the placement of the sun in the sky. He kept a tight hold of the dagger in one hand and waved with the other while he ran off. He needed to get back to Salsola before it got too late and Janos started to worry. Besides, he wanted to show off his new toy. And maybe he would even be allowed to test it out and use it too.
