Songan’s dreams were happy ones and usually gave him a good night’s rest so that he was ready to face the day the next morning. He gave a small yawn as he stretched out his limbs and sat up on his bed of pelts. He was sure ready for today. His golden eyes moved over to the bow he was currently working on. Most of the carving was now done and all he would have to do is add on the little details with his knife before he would be able to start painting it and add on the accessories. He was sure he would be completely done with it soon and would be able to give it to its new owner. He arms reached over as he grabbed the bow and took out his knife. The rust wolf began to add on the feathers of the bird on the top of the bow before sharpening the bottom part of the bow so that it was like the top part. He smiled as he was sure he was now done with all the carving. The rust wolf grabbed his bag of accessories and began to head out of his home. He could feel the sun shining and the breeze through his hair. He moved over to Rain and went up onto her back. He turned her towards the borders and headed out of the tribe.

The red wolf came to the place where he had met Mars and looked along the river for the shallow area where he could cross and take a look around the other side. He slid off the horse so that he would be able to find the shallow area better. He carefully made his way down the side of the bank and into the water. It wasn’t too deep where he was standing and told his equine companion to follow him. They would both soon make it to the other side and he was back up on Rain’s back. He turned her towards the east side of the area. Perhaps he would be able to find another peaceful place to work, and where he would be able to meet other wolves in the area. He continued along until he was a bit of a distance away from the river. He adjusted the bag he was carrying to his other shoulder and then the bow to his other hand.

Songan paused as he came to a part of the woods that seemed to carry a different scent. He slid off the back of his horse and then sniffed the area. It was a very different scent compared to the one of the tribe. He was sure that this was the home of another pack. The male took out his knife and made a small marking in the tree so he knew where the scent started. He dared not to enter the pack lands and upset the members there. He looked for a nice patch of grass to sit on before setting his bag down and getting his brushes out. He was ready to begin painting.

ooc.. posting before work >..< sorry about no table

Amaranth was feeling old today no that wasn’t it she was feeling tired. Magnolia was not living with them Niro had found her and she had decided the court was not where she wanted to be but she would come and see Jiva some time. Though in her place she had her nieces and sister in law.

The girls and Jiva were always playing Amaranth had to separate them so that she could sleep/ She had changed a lot and Niro had tossed her up for some training with orin. Though she had to admit she was glad to help her. She would be glad to see the woman stay in the court because for once she didn’t feel like her family was shattered or missing something.

She was on a mission to roam today, today she would explore the land and learn whatever she could. She slowly made her way to the edge of the land not knowing what she’d find or who. For today would be a good day. Full of fun knew excitement.

Songan smiled as he enjoyed his time here and exploring the new areas. He was glad to be outside of AniWaya and it would help him to find the new packs in the area. He wished he had spent some time here around the area on his journey here from the Great Tribe, but family was more important to him, so getting to the tribe was better for him. Not only was he able to meet up with both of his siblings, but he was also able to set up his own home too. Now that he had some projects to do, it was nice to work on them somewhere new and peaceful. He gave a warm smile as he leaned his back on a nearby tree and looked to the bow. It was his current project and wanted to finish it soon. He was sure it would be done within the next couple of days. With the sun shining down on him, he was ready to begin.

The red wolf took one of his bigger brushes and looked through the colors that he had to use. He wasn’t all too sure on what colors to use on the bow, seeing as that was not one of the things he had asked Saxif about when discussing the design. He gave a soft sigh before looking to the bird carving on top. He was sure he would be able to color that without too much trouble. He was going to make it a eagle like the one the golden she wolf spoke of. He remembered looking at the feathers she had picked out that the main colors were shades of brown with some white and golden. He began to paint the bird part white. He always felt it was better to start out with lighter colors and go over them with the darker colors. Once he was done with that, he leaned the bow gently against the tree so that the paint could dry and he could work on getting the other colors ready. He took some of the dark brown he had and mixed it with the white to make a lighter brown. He had some smaller brushes ready to add in the details on the bird. Once the paints were ready, he gently touched the painted part of the bow to make sure that it was dry. It would still need a little more time before it was ready.

Songan paused as his ears moved up. He could have sworn he thought he heard something behind him. His golden gaze moved around, though he didn’t really see anyone or anything there. Perhaps there was someone making their way down towards his location. He stopped leaning on the tree so that he would be able to see better and called out to whoever it might have been that was coming. “Is there someone there?” He waited with his orbs on the borders, watching for someone or listening for someone to call back to him.

Amaranth gazed across the land with glistening lilac/plum eyes. She couldn't be anymore content with her life and where it stands. Being out her out of the cave gave her air to breath and a time to lift the darkness that had plagued her. Amaranth had thought she was alone out here only to here the voice of another calling out.

"Yes!" she called back as she brushed a leaf cover branch from her path. She smiled as she stepped into a less forested place. She saw the male sitting there. No harm done for he sat near the lands not in them. She glanced the best she could from the distance. The only thing that caught her attention was the fact he had a bow with him.

"What are you doing so close to our border?" she asked as she stepped closer. The Hybrid asked as she brushed some leaves from her hair. She might as well ask some questions and find some answers since she was here. She crossed her arms as she smiled lightly. She wanted to know more about the man and what he was doing then anything else he seemed interesting.

Songan smiled as he continued with his work and continued to paint the bird that was carved into the bow. He wanted to add in as much detail as he would be able to get with the paints. It was nice to see that the brown was not too overpowering and he would soon be able to work on the rest of the bow. He wanted to use some other shades of brown and yellow to help fit with the bird and then add on the other colors of string to bring more life to it. He took pride in his work and he sure hoped that the one using it after him would be pleased with his work.

The red wolf’s ears moved up as he heard someone calling out to him in response to his question. It looked like there was indeed someone along the borders. He paused in his work and set the paints down in the shade so that it would not harden. The male gently leaned the bow on the tree so that it would be able to dry as he was waiting for whoever it was to answer to come forth. Soon there was the reddish she wolf standing before him. He had to admit that she was a beautiful she wolf and anyone would be lucky to have her. Songan stood tall as she brushed her hair and asked what he was doing here. ”I don’t mean to intrude, but I caught the scent of this pack and was interested in finding out about it. I figured that while I waited for someone to come I would be able to get some work done.” His golden orbs moved over to the bow as it sat gently against the tree. The she wolf didn’t look like one who would be interested in his work.

The old wolf moved back over to the bow to check on the paint and see if it was dry yet. It was still a bit wet so he left it alone and turned his attention back towards the she wolf. He was interested in learning about the she wolf’s pack and just where he was. He then realized he hadn’t even introduced himself. ”Where are my manners? My name is Songan Amara. I am from the AniWaya tribe.” He wondered if the she wolf had ever been to AniWaya. It seemed like their packs were a bit of a distance apart from each other. He then began to ask about the pack itself. ”So which pack is this one? What is it like?” He was sure it would be much more different from AniWaya and was curious to see what their customs were like. As he waited, he began to fix the feathers and beads that decorated his hair. He gazed to his braids as they were getting a little messy. He was going to have to fix them up later and make sure they were nicer. His orbs then returned to the she wolf as he gave her a smile.
