ooc: had one started but is still locked....
The little wolf dog ran through Phoenix Valley with a mission, and it seemed she was done being viewed as weak but she was still gripped by fears that bogged in her mind. Still it didn't slow down her legs.In truth she loathed those who could walk through the door without fear. Too much had been exposed to her and now she had to face the music and be a big girl. Adonia was going to race through the pack lands with determination in her eyes, she wanted to find Ookami first and she would, she was determined to.
The shy awkward Adonia was gone, this was a different female, she was done dwelling on things and she wanted to tell Ookami how she felt. Love was in her eyes, a fiery love that said it all. She wondered if it had anything to do with the stars and moon, a special favorite of hers, something she payed little attention to, but when she did, it was with a child's fascination. She knew more about zodiac symbolism more than anything but stars and planets and moons were involved so she couldn't help but learn a little about those too.
Ookami was walking towards Adonia's cabin to say hello when he saw her running towards him. "Adonia?" His face held a smile and his eyes twinkled. He still couldn't believe that she was back. He was just so happy, he had gone a long time wondering where she had gotten off too and when he had seen her that day his heart had lifted so high up he thought that it was going to come out of his head. He laughed to himself at that thought. He snapped his attention back to Adonia and cocked his head.
Is your leg well enough to be running on it?" Already he was worried for her and trying to care for her. He so wanted to be her mate, to make it official, to let the world know that they were together. It was a dream of his that he wished every single night for it to come true. If only, if only one day she is ready. He didn't want to rush her into anything that she wasn't ready for. He knew that she had been hurt before and that she was scared to become anything more. He would wait for her forever and if she still wasn't ready he would wait some more.
She was adorning her black leather collar, a collar she'd had since her adolescence in Europe and now she wore it again. One could say it was because she was reflecting in on herself, finding herself once more. It was a worn out man made object, only having three large rings hanging from it instead of five like it was supposed to have. The large rings were held on by two small rings that were then bound to the leather. A collar she held precious to her, just as precious as her red doggy (stuffed animal).
Adonia was startled to have come across him so quickly but joy was held within her mixed colored orbs. "Hi..." She panted holding up her one leg for a second not thinking about it. Her head bowed down and she glanced downward to it when he mentioned her leg. "Probably not, but it feels fine.." she moved into a sit and put it down trying to blend it in with her other leg to show she was fine. "...really.." A large smile came to her face and her tail gave a wide wag. She was lost in his stare, in his scent, and in him.
Ookami smiled, "Okay, just don't hurt it again." He smiled and licked her muzzle happily. Her scent was overwhelming to him. He stared into her eyes gently, they were so amazing. He was completly head over heels in love with her that he didn't even know what to say to her.. That's a first. He grinned and moved closer to her. He nuzzled her gently, "I missed you so much Adonia, you don't even know." He smiled, he wanted to be closer to her. He wanted to shift right there into his Optime form just so he could wrap his arms around her.
"You have been gone for a long time.. and I just wanted you to know that I still love you... so so much." He smiled gently, afraid that if he got too excited he would awaken to find that all this was only a dream. He looked at her collar and smiled, it looked wonderful on her. He growled, not in an angry or threating way, it sounded more like a purr, sort of like a cat made. He laughed when the noise came out, "I just missed you so much!" He chuckled and licked her again. "How have you been love?"
A dream like feeling was the best way to describe their connection and she was soon to reciprocate his motions, tail slightly raised in a playful but light-hearted wag. The kiss made her cheeks feel a sudden warmth and she knew then that this was it, this was the love she was looking for. He was confident in her and he never put doubt in her mind. Yes, he made her nervous and feel awkward sometimes but he never made her feel stupid for it. Before she could open her mouth he spoke first and she lowered her tail and rubbed her muzzle calmly and with deep passion held behind it, "I love you too....I love you a lot." Her voice held a deep tone, nearly shakey with the need to be closer to him and so she did.
She giggled at him for a moment, before she stood up letting her body moved to rub against his side and she felt shivers go up her spine. She was being fox-like as she circled to be at his other side, "I've been fine, and I'm sorry went off the your radar..and the pack leader's...but I felt like I failed everyone loosing the horses like that..." She sat pressed to his other side now and the look of disappointment on her face as the subject was changed to the past once more. Stupid! A light huff came from her, "...um..I--" She attempted to speak about their relationship but the words failed her, "...I...just thought, er, well wondered...where are we heading?" Ears pasted back as her head remained downward in a deep submissive manner.
Hearing her tell him that she loved him was like music to his ears. He closed his eyes as her body rubbed against his. He had waited so long to touch her. "Adonia, no body blames you for what happened. It could have happened to anyone..." He nuzzled her again. He sat in silence for a minute, just focuasing on her beatiful self. Her next question came as a shock to him. His ears flattened and his head cocked to the side.. Errr.. That is up to you.." His voice was questioning, last thing he knew he was letting her ponder on the idea of being mates.
Had she changed her mind while she had been gone? He certainly hoped so.. He didn't say anything more, just waited for her to speak of where she thought and wanted to go with their relationship. Maybe he would help her, "Mates? Two people in love? It's up to you Adonia." His voice was gentle and kind, he wasn't angry with her for being gone or anything, he was just confused as to what she had been thinking about their relationship while she was absent from Phoenix Valley.
She was glad to hear no one was mad at her, well, Ookami couldn't speak for Jefferson, surely he was mad at her. She missed the barn and was ready to get back to it and she was ready to be with her horse, still she pondered a name loosing one and coming up with another. His next action shown her he wasn't sure. "...I like the pace, but I don't want to ruin anything...." Her stomach felt bubbly after her words. She flicked her ears forward then she suddenly felt the tension in her eyes like she would cry. Why!? Suddenly he spoke the word mates and she moved upward like a puppy who just got a bone. This was where she wanted to go. It had been her dream to have a male, a strong male at that. One that would always be there. So far it seemed as though Ookami was just that male. "..I-I want to be your female...I want you to be mine, now and f-forever.." She lowered at the words forever and nuzzled into his legs hoping she said it right. He was a great male in her eyes and she felt like they were perfect for one another, but she'd never say it. She'd never blurt out how much she loved him and all because of fear of angering others.
Ookami's ears perked up and his eyes brightened. "R-really?" He laughed, he was so happy. He couldn't believe that she wanted to be mates, "I want you to be mine too." He grinned and licked her. "So let's make it officail then... Adonia Demos, I love you so much and I can't imagen any other person to be with. I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side... I want your love and I want to give you my love... I want to protect you and I want to watch over you, I want to take care of you and I want to just be with you." He smiled, "Will you be my mate Adonia?" He grinned, his eyes were filled with happy tears. If she said yes his dream would finally be fulfilled. He was so excited, his words were completely true, he meant every single one of them.
He would never lie to Adonia, he would never hurt her and he would never ever leave her. His heart was beating so loud that he was sure that Adonia would be able to hear it.. There was no way that she would not be able to hear it! His face was pure happieness and his smile was so big that his cheeks hurt. He didn't care though, his cheeks could fall off his face and he wouldn't care, as long as Adonia was his he didn't care what happened to him.
His reaction was nearly shocking, but it projected onto her and she too became a little tail wagged as she stood to look at him and nodded. She watched him as he licked at her in agreement of the intentions between one another before blushing and giving him a quick like upon the muzzle. He spoke and his words couldn't have been anymore loving and heartfelt. He really didn't want to waste time and she was lost in it all. It was fast and she was suddenly feeling her tail drop, and ears going back again with her head bowed down in a happy shyness. She nodded and her eyes closed halfway, "Of course..." She then unbowed her head to give a quick lick to his chin. "I want to by all yours, and I promise to love you and only you for the rest of my natural life. There isn't a single canine that could make me feel the way I feel when I'm with and around you." She spoke her words with elegance and grace. Something she kept hidden only in times that seemed to call for it like this one. Ookami still had a lot to learn about her and surely she did with him, but that was the joy of being mates, you had all the time in the world with one another. Still Jefferson needed to be known of this event, and surely there was more to just pledging to one another, wasn't there?

Ookami smiled at the female's shyness. She was so adorable. Her words were wonderful. He couldn't have asked her to say any that were better than that. The lick to his chin was calming and his heart seemed to stop. Everything was perfect. It couldn't be more perfect! He didn't know what had to be done to officailly become mates but for now their words were enough for him. They would inform Jefferson of their wants later. For now it was dark and he needed rest. "Would you like to get some rest? I am quite tired." He grinned and stood up, ready to escort her back to her cabin. Well, their cabin. They were mates, which meant they would be living together. Right? He grinned, waiting for her to lead the way.
He nipped gently at her ears, "Let's go home." His words were filled with happieness and joy. His tail wagged and his ears were perked. His amber eyes seemed to glow in the dark. Home.. with Adonia! He wanted to scream with joy.
