After spending most of the morning with his mother, Scorpius was ready to get on with the plans he had for the day. He knew that as the new rank he was given, he was going to need some supplies to help him map out the area and all the caves. He wasn’t sure if there was a map of the main caves where everyone lived, but he was sure he would be able to make one just in case. The black male had made his way back to his own cave to clean up and rest a bit before heading out. His stomach had been filled and it was nice to feel needed for the pack. He rested the back of his head on his arms as he then turned his ruby gaze up to the roof of his separate cave. His eyes closed as he soon drifted off into sleep.

Scorpius soon woke up later on in the afternoon, filled now with energy and ready to head out. He stretched out his limbs as he slowly sat up and looked around. It was a bit dull for a home, but everyone lived here so there was nothing he could do about it. He began to make his way out of his section of the cave and out towards the Anathema borders. The sun was much higher in the sky and the heat was baring down on his dark coat. He covered his arm over his eyes so the sun didn’t blind him, at least until his eyes had adjusted to the sunlight. He then came the borders and tried to figure out the direction on which he was going. The male hadn’t really been outside of the pack lands since he had met up with Melee and been to Dahlia de Mai. That pack would be his last stop on his way back home, but for now, he had to concentrate on his current destination.

The black male began to wander around, catching the scent of Dahila de Mai and following it so that he was able to get a baring on his location. From there, he would soon head south, coming to the city of Halifax. His ruby eyes gazed around the area as he began to walk around. This was the perfect place to find what he was looking for. He would need some supplies and wanted to get a new outfit for himself. Scorpius continued to walk around until he found a place with some clothes inside. He stepped inside and began to browse through the items that were there. He soon found some clothes that caught his eyes. One of the first things he tried on was a loose white shirt. It was comfortable to wear, though not making him feel any better with the sun in the sky. He soon removed it, though kept it with him as he continued to look around a bit more for something to match the shirt.

Halifax was the gem of Nova Scotia. The Sidhe couldn't recall stumbling upon so many human remains in a city concentrated like this one. There was everything from clothes, to music, to bottles, to books, to furniture, and so many more odd objects you could eventually put use to. Halifax was a free for all; while there weren't too many Luperci around to occupy the entire population of Halifax, Alae knew that in the future when Luperci dominated the continent of Nova Scotia, all of the free items would soon disappear by traders and hoarders. These resources were wide open, and it was encouraged to take advantage of what you could possess while it was still available.

Alae had been in Halifax for a little over a day. Leaving her snowy white owl companion back in the Dahlian borders, the Wahrer had been hoarding wine bottles so Dahlia could prepare itself for its production of homegrown and made wine. Alae had been working persistently in order to clear the vineyards of any unsightly weeds that grew, and once that was complete, she went to retrieve a couple spare wine bottles to add to the collection. Obtaining old bottles of Merlot and Sangria, wine bottles and any glass bottles which survived through the centuries were very fragile. Clinking mildly in the oversized satchel she hauled with her, her scavenging was often deterred by strange objects that caught her eye and interest, and found herself wandering in what appeared to be a clothing shop.

Clothes were a strange thing. Alae never really understood the purpose, mainly because she couldn't understand how humans were born without fur in the first place. Many Luperci donned articles of clothing, and Alae couldn't see herself feeling comfortable in them unless it was terribly cold outside. Mulling around in the shop, she lifted a peculiar scarf that was plaid patterned. She sampled the scarf by wrapping it around her neck, feeling the material snugly against her collarbone. It could serve some purpose in the winter, but for now it felt a tad bit itchy. Alae held onto it as she continued, but happened to run into a very young looking Luperci who was cloaked in black and held crimson eyes. He was sampling a white shirt that looked too big for his build. "Strange things, aren't they?" Alae spoke to him, in reference of human clothes altogether. It wasn't the best ice breaker, but hopefully would spark some conversation.

The feline had decided to get out of his library home for a while and walk around the wide city of Halifax - he loved to read and be in the library and reorganize the books, but he also agreed that it was good to walk around every once in a while to think and be around other living things. Outside it was rather pretty - the sky was a deep and satisfying blue, and there were very few puffy clouds that lazed about in the sky.

In the city, small green plants poked out of the cement in the ground, and vines climbed their way up buildings and around light poles. Soon, he scented two other wolves, and padded forward - he did feel like talking to someone else today, as he hasn't met someone in a while. He walked towards where they were and found two people - one black male with a strange mask on one side of his face and another female, this time a light gray and red mix, who didn't don any clothes or masks.

He caught the comment of the girl and nodded. "I can't imagine wearing clothes, myself," he mused.

So sorry for the late reply guys ^^;

As Scorpius wandered around the streets of Halifax, he looked for places where he could gather supplies he needed. He was sure there would be a place where he could find some usable lanterns for the darker caves he planned to explore. He also looked around for a place he would be able to find some papers for his maps as well as a gift for a certain someone on his way back home. He took note to some of the places he passed by and came to the place with the clothes. He liked the one that he had tried on and began to look around for something a little more heavier that he would be able to wear during the winter or when it would colder inside the caves that he was exploring. He wasn’t going to try them on seeing as it was summer and the heat was worse considering his dark fur. He found a dark jacket as well as some darker pants. These would defiantly go together and he was sure there was more that he would be able to find to go with this new outfit he found. His ruby eyes moved around as he continued to look.

The black male paused as he heard the she wolf’s voice behind him. He closed his eyes for a moment and took in her scent before turning around to look at her. She made a comment towards the clothes in the place they were at. He shook his head gently. ”They’re not that strange to me.” He took a good look to the she wolf that stood before him. She had a golden and tan coloration to her as well as a lighter under belly. She was a pretty she wolf, though what made him more interested in her was the scent she carried. ”You have the scent of Dahlia de Mai lingering on you. Are you from that pack?” He laid the clothes over his shoulder as he fixed his gaze on the she wolf.

His attention turned to the black feline as it began to speak. He made a comment about the clothes as well. He didn’t expect the cat to want to wear clothes, seeing as there was nothing his size. He was sure even if the little feline wore clothes, he wouldn’t look as nice as he did without them. The black male didn’t think he could picture himself just wearing his mask alone. It brought too much attention to it when he was with others besides the members of his pack. He dipped his head a bit to the tom. ”It all just depends really. Some luperci prefer it and others don’t.” He began to walk towards the exit and looked back at the other two. ”Would you mind if we walked? There’s a few other things I came here to look for and I’d like to get them and be home before it gets too dark.” He began to head back to one place he had seen before where he would be able to get some papers.

No worries. ^^ 300+

Some Luperci took to human clothes more than others. The red eyed male didn't think of them as strange in the least. Some Luperci actually fit the prototype to wear clothes and adapt the modesty that humans wore without their fur, and some took to wearing their own natural fur in the wild. There was nothing wrong with clothes in general, but Alae always thought of most of them as strange in one way or another. She didn't really see the concept behind gloves or mittens, for example. The paws and hands of Luperci were stable enough to withstand callouses and rough objects, but unfortunately the humans weren't so lucky with this. As the dark male expressed clothes weren't strange to him in the least, Alae nodded to this in acknowledging silence. The scent of Dahlia was well woven into the earthy hues of her pelt, and she also nodded to this. "Indeed I am. And yourself?" Her nose picked up a scent amid the masculine scent his own form wore, but one that was unfamiliar to her nose yet. It sort of smelled like Ouija did, but she was ultimately unsure.

There was another individual of company to greet their group, making them a trifecta. However, the third individual to come was low to the floor, and a feline species of anything to come across. The feline seemed to agree with the strangeness of clothes, however Alae observed the cat with intense interest. She never really encountered another animal who was so fearless in the presence of Luperci, not to mention one that was of the feline race. There had been a long history of cats and dogs from the books she read of the past, and wasn't sure if the rivalry still stood after all these decades. Still, the black cat seemed cordial enough, and Alae could agree with the dark male's unspoken thoughts. An amusing thought suddenly came into her mind, as she could remember seeing little clothes that didn't even fit that of a human child. "Didn't the humans have clothes for their own pets as well?" She could be wrong, but she remembered seeing a pullover with four sleeves for four legs to go through (nothing that a human child would be seen wearing in).

The darker male expressed there was items to be sought, and Alae wouldn't mind a short stroll through Halifax with him and the feline. "Sure. Might as well stick around to help you, if you needed me to. I'm Alae, by the way." Alae said, her eyes dancing to both the male and the feline.

The black cat watched in interest as the man spoke to the female about her smelling like Dahlia de Mai - he fondly remembered the pack that his friend, Conor, lived. Conor had saved his life, and he had visited him some times after he had, but not recently; he thought that he should, as it had been a while since he'd seen the orange wolf with the violet eyes. The woman assented that she was from Dahlia de Mai - Element tried to scent what could have told the male that, but all he smelled were wolf smells. He shrugged; perhaps cats weren't as attuned to the different kinds of wolf smells as canines were.

The cat smiled as the woman asked Element if humans had put clothes on their own pets as well; remembering several books he'd read in the library picturing this kind of behavior, he nodded. "They used to do that, yes," he said, "As much as I'm interested in humans, though, if one of them tried to put me in a cat sweater..." He trailed off, shuddering; he was quite fine with his own ebony coat, thanks, and didn't feel that he needed to cover it up with ridiculous clothing.

"I don't mind either," he said in reply to the black wolf's question of if they minded if they walked, trotting to keep up. He allowed Alae to introduce herself, and waited for the black wolf to do so as well - he didn't want to interrupt them, and was rather content simply keeping company, something he didn't find himself doing often.

Sorry for the wait

Scorpius gently hung the clothes on his shoulders as he gazed over to the earthly colored she wolf. A small smile crossed his face as he managed to get the scent off her right. So it was true that she was from Dahlia de Mai. The she wolf then asked about him. He paused for a moment and then flicked his tail. "I am from Anathema. We reside to the north of Dahlia de Mai near the mountains." He wondered if the she wolf had even heard of his pack before or met someone from there before either. He hadn't been out of the pack lands much since he was last near Dahlia de Mai, so he was not sure just how many of the many wolves that lived around here knew of his pack. His ruby gaze moved down to the feline as he too was sniffing the wolves, trying to cath their scent. He wasn't sure if the cat would be able to tell their packs from their scent, though he wasn't an expert on felines so for all he knew, he could.

Scorpius listened to the others as they began to discuss if the humans even would put the animals they kept with them in clothes. He didn't know much about pets or the humans' way of life, though he was sure if he were small like the feline, he wouldn't want anyone forcing him into clothes. He listened to the black cat as he explained that he was fascinated by the humans, though didn't seem to like the idea of someone trying to put clothes on him. The black male agreed. He liked the way the feline looked without clothes on. It helped to make the feline's bright green eyes glow. "I like the way you look without clothes." He gave the cat a smile before turning his gaze back to the she wolf.

He was glad to see that the other two didn't mind walking as they talked. He still had other things to look for. He stepped out of where the clothes were and began to head back the way he came, looking around for the other supplies that he needed for his duties. His ruby eyes moved to the ones walking with him as he wondered something. "So what brings you two here? Are you both looking for something as well?" His eyes peered around as he tried to remember where the items were that he was looking for. He didn't mind helping the others who were with them if they were also looking for something, though he would prefer they came soon to what they were all looking for so that he could head home. His eyes moved over as he noticed something. He stepping inside to spot a few lanturns. "I wonder if these are still useful. They'll come in handy while in the caves." He was sure that they would work, though he would need a way to light them. He was sure he would be able to find that too while he was here.

Anathema. The name didn't ring any particular bell of recognition, although the Sidhe could have swore she heard the name whispered amongst the pack several times before in passing conversation. Apparently Anathema wasn't entirely far from Dahlia de Mai, near the mountains, and it was stored in the back of her mind to one day visit Anathema in the near future. "I can't say I have before, but I would most definitely would like to visit there sometime since it's so close to Dahlia. I've been a little busy with pack affairs, so I haven't ventured out a lot." Alae admitted, seeing as how there was reconstruction at the time to be done to Dahlia after the past winter.

The image of a cat sweater materialized in mind, and Alae smirked slightly to this. The idea of putting a domesticated animal in human clothing was a little abstract to Alae, but at the same time perhaps the animals of the past weren't suitable enough to endure the cold as the creatures of the Earth did now. Every creature looked fine in their own natural apparel, though Alae's smirk broadened some. "I can see something green as your eyes looking good on yourself, even though I do like the dark fur." Alae jested, with her smirk broadening. The male Luperci complimented on the natural form of herself, to which her tail swayed behind, and felt the heat of compliment begin to tint her cheeks rosy. "Why, thank you. And you look tasteful yourself." Alae remarked to him, relishing in his compliment.

Taking exit from the shop, sky blue eyes glanced over for the black feline to follow, as Alae was whisked out by the male's company. Inquiring the reason of coming, it was fairly easy to muster a reply. "Dahlia is renovating the vineyards. I'm looking for intact wine bottles if I could find any." Flicking an ear, it casted back to the feline keeping them company if he had his own reason of coming to Halifax. Observing the lanterns the Luperci found, there was a thoughtful hum that purred in her throat as she observed them. While they were ancient at best, there still could be use. "They look like they still could have some life in them. Anathema is composed of caves?" Alae then asked, remembering that Anathema was by the mountains, but didn't realize the pack actually lived in the mountain itself?

The feline remained silent as the two wolves began to speak about where they were from; being from the own town they were in, he said nothing, but rather was interested at how they interacted. There was no hostility in their voices, as he once thought that wolves acted when faced with one from another pack; rather, it seemed that the female one hadn't been to Anathema before, but had heard that it was near her own pack, Dahlia de Mai. Neither did Element, to be exact, but that was to be expected, due to his species and status as a cat.

He purred at their compliments; "Thank you," he said silkily - he was always proud of his shining fur that he groomed each day to keep glistening in the sun, and was glad to see that the fruit of his labors paid off. He then heard what they were there for - the male was looking at what Element thought were lanturns. He had read about them - not directly, but referenced in books - and had a vague understanding of what they did. He was surprised as the man mentioned caves, however.

"Your pack lives in caves?" he asked. He had always thought of wolves as creatures of the day, rather than in dank, damp caves - Element had never liked mountains and caves very much, although to each his own, he supposed. It seemed that the girl - who was looking for wine - was as confused as he was about the whereabouts of the pack.
