Tell me if this gets confusing and what needs to be elaborated on

Rain remember a time when he was warm and technology was at its finest. He missed his home but more then anything he missed the technology Berlin had to offer. Used to harsh weather his fur was thicker then the wolves he had seen around this place called Nova Scotia, so he had some protection against the snow that had started to fall. The weather seemed to be taking a turn for the worse and wishing he had his parka and boots Rain mumbled to himself. If he was getting cold then Amelia must be freezing already. He stopped as he noticed Amelia wasn't beside him anymore but trailing behind. At about 1 month she didn't understand why they had left Berlin and why her mommy wasn't there to hold her or keep her warm. Her little grey and white body shivered against the frigid wind, her fur not nearly as thick as Rains because her mother had kept her indoors most of the time. He stopped as their father continued ahead just as the snow started falling harder. Rain picked up Amelia, who snuggled against him for warmth. In optime form Rain could easily hold little Amelia against him for warmth, her little lupus body small and somewhat light. She buried her muzzle in his neck, her little paws in his shoulder the way her mom used to hold her. She was tired, her little paws blistered from the cold, hard packed ground. "Bruder, ich bin kalt," (brother I am cold) she whispered against him as they were blasted with cold wind again. She shivered and tried to snuggle closer to him as he walked where he had last seen his father.

Amelia only spoke German, her father hadn't given her time to learn English like Rain, who preferred English over German. Only to Amelia did Rain speak German. Her mother had been trying to teach her over the 3 month trip they had taken in a ship to get to this god forsaken place. Something had been spreading on the ship and it was only in the last few weeks of the trip did their mother fall ill and die. The memory of burying her because his father couldn't would haunt him for many nights to come. "Ich weiß, du bist kalt. Vater versucht, Unterschlupf zu finden jetzt für uns heute Nacht schlafen" (I know you're cold. Father is trying to find shelter now for us to sleep tonight.) he said as the snow fell harder.

His father had taken this trip because technology was getting out of control and he wanted to revert back to the old ways. He had heard of this place call 'Souls and was hell bent on showing Rain that you didn't always have to rely on a heater and electric to function in the world. He had sold their belongings, their house, their land, their horses and livestock for a trip to the middle of nowhere. At two years himself, Rain had tried to sway his father into staying. Amelia was too young for a trip and his mother to frail. But he insisted and after making sure they had nothing but enough money to buy their way onto the ship and make port. No clothes, and nothing but their means of trade, Rain, Amelia and their father embarked on a journey that would soon be the death of Rains younger sister and the separation of Rain from his father.

The snow had fallen fast and soon Rain had lost sight of his fathers tracks as a blizzard consumed him and Amelia. Little did Rain know that they would never find their father and that the could would soon start to freeze little Amelia. He didn't know that by the end of the blizzard he would be alone, his sister dead because of the cold. He would stumble into 'Souls with nothing more then a long bow, two arrows and his wood carving kit. He still searches for his father today and wont give up his search till he finds him.

ooc: I think the story is well written, but remember that Luperci aren't advanced enough in technology yet to have electricity or heaters; it's 30 years after the apocalypse, so most electronics would stop working and have rotted by now, and those that can be salvaged, Luperci wouldn't know how to work. ^^ Look here - http://rpguide.soulsrpg.com/soulsverse/postapocalypse/ - for more information!

Enlil struggled through the snow in a lupus form, his face being stung by the harsh winds and his paws sinking into the deep snow, which was shallow only moments before. The snowstorm had sprung up unexpectedly, and the poor timber wolf had been trapped in the middle of it. He knew that there was no chance of finding any prey now, which was the objective he had set out with; now his only objective was getting out of the biting cold that stung his nose and clung to his fur.

Despite the freezing cold, he managed to try and look forward through the snow - he didn't see anything but a faint figure. Pressing on forward, he eventually saw that the figure was a person - or two people. One was a man in an Optime form, and he was holding a much younger girl who was in her Lupus form, and she was curled against his body. Enlil pressed forward and looked up at them.

"Hello!" he shouted over the snowstorm's howling. "Did you get trapped in the snowstorm as well?"

"Ja! Sie haben Unterschlupf für die Nacht?! he yelled in German before thinking that the male might not know German "Yes! Do you have Shelter for the night! My sister is freezing!" he attempted to yell to the male. How much of it he heard Rain didn't know but as Amelia laid in his arms freezing he wondered if the male would help at all. Amelia was growing colder by the minute and he didn't want his sister to die because he couldn't find them shelter so after a few moments he start to move again, the winds blasting him back over and over making him have to dig his nails into the ground. He brought his tail forward and curled it around Amelia who wasn't moving anymore. "Bleib bei mir Amelia. Ich finde uns Unterschlupf bald," he said nudging her softly to keep her awake. She stared up at him with eyes starting to go glassy. He didn't notice she was dying, couldn't see the love and fire start to fade from her eyes.

He couldn't wait up for the male and as he continued to trudge though the snow he only had one thing on his mind. I must keep Amelia safe and alive. I don't know what I would do without her... she is all the family I have left. he thought as he found opening in a bit of snow. It looked like a cave and as he trudged towards it he tripped, Amelia flying out of his arms and rolling in the snow a few feet in front of him. No sound came from the pup as he went over to her and picked her up, rushing to the cave. "Nein bitte nicht tot sein..." he yelled over the wind as he tried to warm Amelia up. Her tiny paws were frozen, her breathing shallow as he put her in his lap and put his tail over her, rubbing his hands together to make heat to hold her with. "Ich liebe dich Bruder," she said weakly as he looked down at her, noticing the glassy look in her little eyes. She buried herself deep in his fur and though the night Rain tried with no luck to keep her alive. By morning Amelia had passed, expelling her last breath in his arms, leaving him alone in a blizzard that would last for days. His broken howls were carried and lost on the winds as he howled his pain over the loss of his family. What he didn't know was that he would be alone for many months to come.
