Tito leaned forward, listening closely as the steady thumping of the Breck's hooves on the old dirt road became quieter. He opened his eyes, looking down at his sheep that had decided to nestle up against him. He had no problems with it, especially when his mood was neutral. But he knew he could no longer rest his eyes. "It's time to be on guard." His mental voice murmured, followed by a hissed warning to sit up. The wolf stirred, trying to move away from the sheep without waking it. The wool covered being opened it's eyes, lifting his head to try make sure Tito was not leaving him. The closer and closer the wolf and sheep became, the worse the animal's separation anxiety seemed to get.

The wolf shook his head, attempting to ward off tired lids. He crawled over to the opening of the carriage, allowing his feet to hang over the edge. His hands caressed the rope, leaving him to feel empowered as he grasped it tighter. He did not allow his mind to wander to the fact that his father had once held the same twisted vine- For taking a trip into his past would drag him away from the matter at hand. His black nose twitched, picking up the scent of a nearby territory. It was stronger then before, which told him that they were getting closer. Once he had set Breck up in the right direction, all there was to do was let him do his thing. The horse was made for running, and that's exactly what he would do. "In our new home," Said the wolf, flipping the word home around in his mouth. It had not been spoken or thought of in a long while, and with good reason. But he was ready to settle down now.. He needed to be. As much as he could endure loneliness, the wolf knew he was a social creature. And until he worked his way back into a social structure, he would continue to feel as though something was missing.

When he came to what seemed like a good stopping point, the white fellow tugged on the reigns. He did it gently, knowing that the horse hated the piece of metal that dug into his mouth when Tito did this. He hopped off the carriage, the two paws that he was using for walking meeting the ground eagerly. The wolf walked to the front of the horse, touching his face and letting his nose touch the animal's. He stepped back, the sound of the sheep jumping to the ground startling him. The horse, obviously sensing his discomfort, gave a soft neigh- But luckily, did not spook. The Monrow turned to the sheep, pointing a stern finger at him. "You need to stay here." Though his companion did not respond, Tito knew he heard him. Whether or not he pretended to understand or not was the question.

The wolf began walking away from the carriage, leaving the shade of the trees to stand in the grass opening. He tilted his head back slightly, letting a long howl leave his maw. The message was not specific, but stated his purpose clearly. He was here to join.

welcome to cercatori d'arte! Big Grin what would you like to be your beginning rank?

It had been three days since her precious puppy, Nathaniel, had gone missing. Skye had cursed herself every day for allowing herself to drift off to sleep when only two of her pups were firmly in her grasp; the other had wandered off, leaving only his own scent and the vague, muffled scent of another canine behind. She didn't know who the other was, but she couldn't leave Cercatori d'Arte on its own; Bangle had sent out to try and find her pup.

She could only hope.

On the inside, she was crumbling, devastated, but she kept a strong facade on the outside for her pups and her pack. It wasn't easy to hide her horrid guilt and desperate feelings - she wanted to run out and search for her son herself - but doing what Shawchert had done wasn't going to help anything. She had to stay the leader of the pack, and she had to do it strongly; she just hoped with all her heart that Bangle could find Nathaniel. In the meantime, she had decided to take another patrol along the borders of the pack; she didn't want another Argul if it was the last thing she did.

The long note of a howl reached her ears soon, and Skye was glad that she had decided to take the patrol. She found her legs carrying herself towards whoever called, and found herself looking at a man.

He looked a bit like Niro Takekuro, Orin's brother, at first glance, with the white fur and the dark hair. He smelled different, however, and the hair hung at his sides rather than in a mohawk. He did boast golden rings in his ears, however, like the Takekuro; unlike him, however, his eyes were an olive hue.

"Hello, traveler," she said warmly. "You are on the borders of Cercatori d'Arte - how may I help you on this day?"

Word Count → 310 :: Umm, life stock raising?

Tito was taken back, studying the female with obvious confusion. In his previous pack, the males had all the authority. Of course he wasn't quite against the idea of women having higher ranks.. But it just seemed unfamiliar. "Maybe the male is out?"

She had a nice structure. Built, but also feminine. When she got close enough Tito was sure to get a wiff of her scent, sensing that she was 'owned' by a male. He, of course, had no problems with this. Though he had been with females that were already taken, it wasn't something he favored. If he encountered their male owners within days of sleeping with them, he had to answer a various series of questions.. As well as put up snarls and threats. "Though the females probably ended up getting the worst of it.." He gave a small smirk before letting it transform into a friendly smile. No matter how high up in the ranks she was, it was clear that she lived here.

"Ah.. Cercatori d'Arte" He said aloud, straining his vocal cords in an attempt to have the name come out right. "I am.. Looking to join. I do hope your borders are open." He phrased the words in such a way that it was both a question and statement- A question of if it was possible for him to even join at this point; and a statement to smooth it over, helping to make him sound like nothing more then a helpless traveler- New to the ways of tribes. He had made many mistakes in his some what short lifetime, but this was no time for speaking of them.. It would hardly prove his case. "What they don't know won't hurt 'em." The wolf made eye contact with the woman, holding it for only a moment before turning his two-toned orbs back to the ground. "My name is Tito.. Tito Monrow," Saying his last name felt strange, one of the reasons being that it was one of the last things him and his family members shared. "I have some skills.. I can ink... Tattoo, yeah? And, well.. I can herd and work with animals.. I'm good with them."

It was funny how all of the sudden it seemed like he was short of talents.. When he often had no problem speaking of them. "Just when you need them." The voice in his head huffed. "Speaking of animals.. I have a sheep, and a horse. As well as a carriage. Would they be able to come along to live with me?" This was the answer he was dreading. His animals helped ease his anxiety, and it was difficult to think of what life would be without them. "I can put things together, too.. Create and take stuff apart."

that's a-okay!

Skye smiled as the man reacted with confusion as he looked at her - she couldn't imagine why, and she certainly didn't guess that it was because she was a female. He then smirked, and she was confused again; Bangle's scent was on her, yes, but so were many other males from Cercatori d'Arte, as the pack had acquired many more males than females in the last few months. Nevertheless, Skye smiled as his smirk turned into one, and he introduced himself.

She listened as he listed his large variety of skill - he could tattoo, and put things back together and take them apart. He was good with animals and even had some of his own - that was excellent, as Skye didn't have many people in the animal raising ranks, and there were many animals in the stables that needed helping. She started by introducing herself, then went on to the other issues.

"I am Skye Collins, sole leader of Cercatori d'Arte," she said. "And you and your animals are most welcome here in our pack - we even have a stables where they can live with the other horses and goats, if you'd wish," she said politely.
