Ouija was quite some distance away from Anathema but he couldn't find that to bother him in the slightest. He had been spending more and more time away lately. None ever seemed to notice though. Or if they did then they didn't seem to care. And if they didn't care then why should he? What reason did he have to worry about his time away should the pack show no concern over it? He had been keeping to himself and staying on top of his tasks. He continued to practice the things that he was taught in the cult. Actually he was out and away from Anathema because he was seeking to collect things to work on. Namely he was looking for some natural colors to gather up and brew so that he could freshen himself up since a few patches had started to fade. It was simply something that he kept on top of since plant life had started blossoming to where he could use thing. He even planned on storing things away for winter use as well. He didn't want to go without his precious color as he had to do the winter before.

Since he was away from Anathema he had his satchel with him because it made it easier to transport whatever it was that he found. For now that seemed to be an assortment of flowers. He picked them carefully and eased them into the deer hide satchel that he had made for himself. He planned on boiling the colors out of them once he got back to Anathema. It would be something to do while he was in the caves. His friend had left and so there was no longer someone that he shared the den with in order to sit up and talk to. He chose to make up for that by involving himself in his work and losing himself to doing whatever task he felt needed to be completed at the time.

A noise from the nearby forest had caused him to look up and focus through the trees. It took a couple of sweeps before he was able to locate the four legged animal moving about. It was something that he had seen before but had never had the pleasure of capturing himself. The pelt of the wolverine was something he desired. It was most certainly remarkable and he could think of one canine that would enjoy having it other than himself. But for now the large male remained still and silent from his place atop the low rise of the hill, his satchel seated on the ground next to where he sat. He doubted that he could get down there and capture the vicious prey animal before it could disappear. And it was that realization that didn't have him moving but just sitting still and watching. Maybe if it ducked into a burrow then he would know where to find it later at least. Or even find more should they live in groups.

too interesting to pass up Smile i wonder what'll happen!

The female was happy - it wasn't too rare a sight nowadays, but it was rarer than it had been when she had just been a teenager going into Souls. Things seemed to be going right - Cercatori d'Arte was gaining members quickly and rising in rank, working together to build and create and hunt and help each other. It was a great thing for Skye to see, her pack flourishing before her eyes, and she enjoyed every minute of it. There were, however, times that she wished to find peace for herself, and this was one of those times.

Snug tight between Crimson Dreams and Cour des Miracles, this part of Souls was rather beautiful - Skye had never noticed because she hadn't frequented it at all. Amidst the musty scents of the forest, she scented two strange things - mixed with each other, she wasn't entirely sure which was which. There was a scent of an animal, and another scent of a wolf - a very familiar one, although she couldn't put her finger on it.

Nearing the scents, she was taken by surprise as a furry thing passed her feet - gaping at it as it stormed past, she noticed that it was a wolverine - that was the odd animal scent she hadn't recognized. Looking towards where it came from, suddenly the other scent became clear to her.

"Ouija," she said coldly, nodding her head to the white and colored man - the last she had heard of him, he had been frightening her members with tales of Argul, which she didn't appreciate - he had always seemed like a loyal man, but she supposed she had been wrong. She didn't say anything, however, because she didn't want to start a fight.

The male only gave a nod of acknowledgment to the female and brought up a finger to his lips to indicate that she should remain quiet. After all he didn't want the wolverine to be startled off since he wanted to be able to find it again later. He'd rather dig it out of its burrow than to lose it in a foot race. So yes, his concentration was for the prey animal rather than the female. She was currently of no concern to him. Even her coldness didn't matter to him.

Once the animal was gone from sight did he look back at the female. "Skye." He spoke her name with an amicable nod of his head. He knew nothing of frightening members. He had simply given a warning and whom he had talked to hadn't been scared when he had left. So no, he couldn't say that he had frightened anyone. Actually the female had been pissed at him for his belief in curses. He hadn't imposed them on her but had allowed her to know of his beliefs and wished her care and luck. So now if she had run off and told that she was scared Ouija knew nothing of it for she hadn't shown an ounce of fear when in his presence. And he had only spoken the truth the entire time so he didn't regret anything because nothing blasphemous had been done.

With the wolverine gone and he didn't have that focus on any longer he turned his attention back to his original task. He focused once more on the greenery of the hill in order to look for flowers and other colored vegetation. He wasn't certain why the female was here but it wasn't his place to ask either. He would allow her to do her thing while he did his.
