Big Grin <3 whisper beach!

It had been a few day since Bangle had made it back - with no sign of Nathaniel in his arms. Skye had been upset, but not as upset as she had been when he had said that thing - her pups had gone silent and her heart almost stopped beating. They slowly got their relationship back to almost normal, and the pups had seemingly forgotten all that Bangle had said about them, but Skye didn't forget; she forgave, but her mind was still on that comment, as well as her lost son that would not return.

She stared at the ocean, her pups at home with the coywolf and herself in nothing but a sun dress, the thin fabric billowing in the wind. She had thought about many things recently - Ouija not one of the least of them. If her former members were going to show up at her borders and terrify her members for no reason other than spite, perhaps she should keep a better watch on the borders, she thought grimly. She didn't think she had to - especially not because of a threat from someone that she thought was her friend - but perhaps she would have to assign sentry guards. She sighed; everything was difficult right now.

She was trying to get over the loss of her son, but it was also difficult. Her remaining filled her with joy every day, but it was bittersweet knowing that one of them was missing from her loving grasp. Her mate also filled her with joy - even though the careless comment he had made had made her angry, she knew that he loved her and she loved him, and nothing could change that, not for her.

But right now, she was trying to look for something - not her son, whom she had tried and tried to look for with no avail - but the missing pack that had seemingly disappeared from so close to their borders. Dahlia de Mai was deserted; Skye had gone out the day before to ask how Nayru was doing and had found that the pack's scent was old, and upon cautiously venturing inside, all the houses and huts were empty. No one was to be found in the territory, and she had traveled as far as here, Whisper Beach, to find nothing. It was puzzling - a pack couldn't up and disappear, could they?

Blah post to get this going >.<

With all the new things happening in his life, he longed for something old, something that could anchor him to his past if only for a moment. These days it seemed as if he was turning into a sentimental old fart, but before he knew any better his feet had propelled him onwards and back to the old lands that were once inhabited by the now lost pack of Dahlia de Mai. Having spent the journey in near silence, when he’d arrived to the lands he couldn’t see them in the way he once had; so deserted and lacking, no longer in their glory, or so it seemed. Sighing, he rummaged through his bag, twisting the paper and ‘herbs’, he lit one end and breathed in, instantly relaxing and calming down. “Some things change but others stay the same…” he mumbled.

Much to his surprise, he’d managed to pretty much give up on his drinking habits, only to then depend upon smoking. Honestly, he wasn’t sure which the worse of two evils were, but at least he was more in control of himself and his behaviour than when he was an alcoholic. Looking up into the sky, he scrunched up his nose and was sure it was going to rain despite how seemingly clear things looked. After being given the rank of Guan Han, he’d spent so much time staring at the sky and reading about weather patterns he was beginning to get the knack for guessing them correctly; but surely rain with no clouds was impossible…

Turning around and leaving the deserted territory behind him, he began the long trek home; it wasn’t as if he’d gained anything from his random little trip, but his needed to wander had been fed. When he got back within pack lands he’d go work on his garden.. or something probably.

Upon the trail back, he made the random decision to head towards the beach; a common thing tendency of his that had allowed him to encounter unique canines during his idle travels. With the beach in sight, an all to familiar scent called for his attention and the need to flee filled him; if he was right, his sister lay up ahead, but he wasn’t entirely sure if to approach or not. A sigh passed his lips and he moved forward, choosing not to ignore his sibling and at least have the courtesy to say ‘hi’.

“Skye; didn’t expect to see you here” he called out to her.

poor alex :<

Skye smelled something that was quite familiar, and brought back many rushing memories - her father and her mother was one of them, but the other scent was familiar as well as recent; her brother. She turned and saw as he shouted out to her. Alexander, her brother, had fallen into a freezing pool of water in Cercatori d'Arte territory during the snowstorm in February, Skye remembered. She hadn't known he was her brother until he admitted it to her and told her he was moving to Dahlia de Mai; she had thought about him a bit more after that, and she still found it shocking that she had an older brother that she never knew about.

"Hello, Alexander," she called out to him, and then moved closer so they didn't have to shout. She smiled slightly awkwardly, not sure what to do now - a hug would be too familiar for the brother and sister, who haven't talked much since they had met, so she just smiled at him. "How have you been?" she asked the gray man; she always reminded him of their father, who was the same gray hue as him.

Her mind then jumped to the empty territory next to them, and she looked at its desolate appearance, quite contrast with the originally cheerful demeanor it held when Dahlia de Mai had taken up residence there. "And what happened to Dahlia?" she asked, her tail swishing and her light blue dress swishing with it. "I came to say hello to Nayru, but everyone was gone!" she exclaimed, her confusion evident. She hoped nothing bad had happened to the pack - Nayru and her had had so much in common, and she had grown fond of the woman.

Kitty be slow to reply as usual >.<

Awkwardly he kept his gaze low, unsure how to hold and behave himself when in front of his younger sister; he hadn’t played any role in the female’s life and although tied by blood, he couldn’t claim to know much of the female. It wasn’t his place to appear out of no where and begin prying in her personal life and butting his way into her business; no doubt it would take more time for the pale male to truly see the other as his sister and even longer before he came into the role of a ‘big brother’. But just because something may take awhile didn’t mean that he wasn’t unconcerned for his sister. Fidgeting slightly, he forced a smile to his face and tried to look relaxed, consciously keeping his body language relaxed and his ail swaying steadily behind him; not wanting to let his sibling see how nervous and unsure he was.

When she acknowledge his welcome, he dipped his head slightly, choosing to stay silent and let her initiate a conversation if she wished; answering questions was easier than asking them in his experience. “I’ve been well” for he had been; he’d given up drinking... sure he was now smoking, but it was an improvement in the males mind. Aside from his addictions, he’d also been socializing more and expanding upon his skills; nothing bad had really happened to him and life was treating him well these days. “How about you?” he responded, raising a curious eyebrow.

At the female’s next question he couldn’t help but allow himself a slight chuckle; Dahlia’s recent changes had surprised him, one of the pack members and so no doubt those outside of the pack had been taken even more by surprise by the changes than he had. “Personally I know few of the finer details, but from what I understand Nayru decided to merge Dahlia with …” he paused, making & ‘thinking’ sound as he tried to remember what the other packs name had been. “Merged with Phoenix valley I think it was called. Either way, Ichika no Ho-en has been formed from this merge. We’ve all had ta haul ass up the mountains; new territory is near Anathema.” He informed her, not caring to sugar coat any details and simply told her all he knew of the situation.
