This doctors call was one she made with a bit of angst. First he was notorious for not liking her, and second she was going to ask him for help. But to sweeten her chances she cradled several pairs of jeans for him. After her break down she had reverted back to her daily life, trying her best to put her handsome teddy out of her mind. The hurt still stung, still clung to her like glue, and she found herself running about at night in that new form killing things just for the fun of it. But her fighting skills sucked. And as much as it pained her to admit it, Alaki was the only warrior she knew.

She approached Matteo and Alaki’s home before idly standing in the door way nocking quietly. Demi assumed as always Alaki would treat her with ire and she probably deserved every bit of it.

“Alaki… It’s time for me to check up on you, make sure your healing properly,” she chimed into the room before walking into the entrance with a bit of idle nervous energy clinging to her. The jeans where held in front of her, folded against her light pink sundress.

Things had been all over the place in his life; his mate ship to the white one, moving rooms, working within his role as a warrior, there was never a dull moment or a time where he found he had nothing to do.. until that morning. He could have walked down to one of Anathemas many clearings and practiced with one of his weapons but the make-shift sofa was too comfortable and he found himself unable to get off of it and soon had fallen into a light sleep.

A soft female voice reached his ears as he lay upon his sofa of pelts. Shifting around slowly, he propped himself up onto his elbows and peered towards his room’s entrance. Seconds passed and then the small devil’s form appeared, in all it’s seemingly harmless and fragile feminine beauty. Lifting an eyebrow, he shot the woman a somewhat surprised look which twisted to suspicion as he noted the pile of jeans in the others hands; the Marbas went through clothes like no tomorrow, wearing them down in training and general use and if it weren’t him destroying them it was Beyaz.

“Demi, well. This is an unexpected visit?” he dipped his head to show he it was fine to enter. Carefully and with the odd melodramatic groan, he rose to a seated position; back resting against the uneven cave wall behind his sofa. “I’m all yours. What you need me to do?” he asked, unsure of what pain he would have to suffer through in the name of a ‘check up’, but knowing the female he wasn’t going to like this one bit…

Then he remembered what the Corson had been put through as of late and his look of suspicion turned to that of sympathy and he relaxed into the sofa. He knew that they were neither each others favourite canine and so he would not comment on the female’s pain nor ask if she was okay; instead, he’d act somewhat more civil than he normally would.

She looked across at the drowsy man, cocking her head to the side at his welcoming. She tentatively walked in, more shy and meek than she ever usually was. Without Teddy around she felt exposed, before she had gotten along by using fear, now she couldn’t remember how to act, how to convey that when everything about her had been shattered.

Demi walked up to him placing the jeans beside him “Late wedding present, I was sick and couldn’t be there, I’m sorry” she said lightly before standing to her full height and looking him over.

She knelt down using a soft touch along his ribs, pushing in and checking how they were healing.

“How does your ribs feel Alaki? Are you breathing better? And what in the world did you pick a fight with?” she asked finally. He hadn’t been conscious enough when she had treated him for her to ask, but she assumed it was something large and blunt that he was on the receiving end of. What ever he had pissed off was surely someone he didn’t need to visit again. At least she hoped he wouldn’t, she didn’t want to see him in that condition again. Her hands sufficiently examined his chest, before patting him and smiling.

“Your healing just fine, should be back to your old self soon. Just be careful, ribs still seem to be healing.”
