This is what will begin the scouting missions.

Maska's orders had been made perfectly clear the previous night. His master had made a detailed round of the village--found it more lacking than before--and sent his Guardians out to start the "clean-up" process, as it was. The very first thing he wanted was to secure the perimeter of the territory and the inner structure, which would require recruiting more warriors to their ranks. According to the rank evaluation, this tribe was strongly devoid of many warriors, and Wematin would have to appoint Shadi to teach them the true arts of a Great Tribe warrior if they were to be of any use. Not to mention patrolling the entire village diligently was difficult to do with only two Guardians to do the job. Nahele had been assigned to Maska until further notice, and so Wematin relied primarily on Shadi's speed and keen eyes to do a majority of the work about the emptier parts of the lands. Wematin was to be the eyes within the village itself.

Sadly, not many of the wolves here knew AniWayan--a few did, but they were either from the Great Tribe or only moderately proficient in the tongue--and he sometimes wrinkled his nose when he had to speak so regularly to the lower ranks. The black wolf raised his muzzle to sniff the air, testing for anyone near, and decided to begin a search for recruits; with any luck--and force if need be--they could lead him to the scouts of the tribe to begin their mission proper.

hope you dont mind Smile I need to bump J'adore's post count XD

J'adore had taken to his primary mount that day. Taking his time to paint delicate patterns in temporary red dye onto the cremello's coat, grooming him and braiding his mane and tail. He supposed that if he was to meet one of the guardians or even Maska himself, having his steed dressed perfectly would show his skills. Though to be honest, the fact that his horse looked pretty had no relevance to his rank. And what with all the drama he had kinda of failed doing anything related to that recently. The Spaniard's mount moved with a strong sense of purpose, his muscled, well worked, cream body, a tribute to J'adore's dedication.

As he entered the village centre, he dismounted, taking a rope from his bag and looping one end round his steed's thick neck. The male's white eyes landed on the darker form of one of the newcomers. Closing his eyes, J'adore remembered the spark of AniWayan he had learnt from Ralla, 'Osiyo'. He was sure that was hello, at least he had tried. He moved forward, silent but with a faint casual smiled on his face. While he did not really agree with what they had done within the pack, he needed to stay on the guardian's good side, for the pups sake.

Claudius needed to know. He needed to know why all of this was happening and why Dawali and Ralla were being punished in the way they were. And so, he had decided that he would have to learn as much as he could from these invaders and try to figure out what they thought they were doing here. Perhaps if he could understand them better, he would understand how he could sabotage their work. Whatever they were doing, Claudius didn’t understand enough to do anything about it, but he did know that he didn’t like it.

So when he saw another male AniWayan meet one of the intruders, Claudius knew it would be best to follow and perhaps observe first. He didn’t want to reveal himself, so he picked a large oak tree and hid behind it. He hoped the wind didn’t shift so he stayed downwind. He wanted to figure out what was going on before he did anything rash like talk to them.

Claudius could see one of the guardians sniffing the air in expectation. Of what? Claudius didn’t know, so he stayed quiet, watching.

Ayasha had seen what these “guardians” were doing and was half-scared half-angry. What right did they have to come in and change what the Tribe was like? She frankly did not care if they were from the Great Tribe. Wasn’t AniWaya separate from them? But she had been lax in her duties. So she decided to go and see what was going on. It was her duty to know what was going on in the Tribe.

She saw J’adore and an adult that she seemed to remember having met but not really. They were standing near one of the newcomers. She approached cautiously. Ayasha had to hold back a growl but she didn’t smile. She kept her face as neutral as possible. She did frown slightly but that was the only sign of displeasure. Her mood was becoming less of the curious, happy-go-lucky and more cynical and rebellious.

She knew that she would have to tread carefully anymore unless she wanted to get punished. She had the feeling that they would not go easy even on her. Though she did wonder why all the masters were demoted. Probably to keep their power, she thought rebelliously. She stood near J’adore and waited to see what would happen.

Hurray for people! Big Grin Btw, Ralla would've taught Ayasha some AniWayan, too, by this point, so she should understand some of it XD And lucky Claudius; he escapes the Guardian's nose! :O

The first to approach was the man that had spoken up the other day at the meeting--well, that was ambiguous since many had spoken--but Wematin remembered him well enough. A man with the same white eyes as the brown wolf he had stared down and put in his place, although this man appeared more in tune with their customs; he even greeted the Guardian in AniWayan, and so Wematin assumed he knew more. He was far too forthright, however; he came to the Guardian without an ounce of submissiveness or respect. Wematin was of the Skilled rank, and he could easily smell the difference in dominance between the two of them; it was instinctive as it was to breathe. It seemed as if many of the pack were far too lax with their traditions and social order, but he was sure his master would right that quickly enough. But as he had stated before: It was only his concern to maintain the orders his master issued, nothing more. To begin with, he raised himself higher with a stance of superior rank to the Beginner wolf and looked straight at him, although he was expecting the other to advert his eyes. Discipline was all that was needed.

"Osiyo," Wematin returned gruffly before studying the paint on the other's horse. Surprisingly this man knew of the tradition to paint war-horses, and the man was an outsider. This, at the very least, boded well. Another, a smaller female, came forward next to the white-eyed man, and although she seemed complacent, Wematin could tell that her submissive respect was sorely lacking. In the Great Tribe such interactions might've been seen as normal between friends or family, but he was neither to these two, and furthermore--even before being of a different rank--being a Galonv Adagatiya was a special role and title that was to be respected, even sometimes on even grounds with Masters, since they equally answered only to the Kalona. To her, he spent a special glare. "Aquadu'li Ayastigis ale Tsula Agatenos. Nigada yeliquoiyadvnedi Itses ase alasgvda igvyiditlvanigisdi nasgi."

Everything is meant to be in AniWayan, too tired to find a decent translator site XD

J'adore smiled briefly when the guardian replied with the same greeting, he had obviously gotten it right. As the darker male stared straight at him, J'adore averted his glace momentarily several times, showing the correct amount of respect to the man. 'I am a warrior myself, I am only at the first stage, but I've advanced to the second tier when I was a fire tender. I decided to shift my focus when I saw there were no warriors'. He had long lost the stench of a more respected member, but he was proud of it. He had spotted a risk and had done all he could do to aid the situation. The only problem was that, should Leon cause any more trouble, and should J'adore have reached the applicable rank, he would have to punish his brother himself.

It was a risk he was willing to take however. Maybe then Leon would finally listen. J'adore would do no different now than he had been doing before. He would continue to try and advance his rank and that was all. He would keep his head down and his mouth shut. He would become a model AniWayan. The idea sickened him slightly, was he turning on his own friends? No, he was simply complying.

Luck is relative! He has no idea what is happening. :'(
They spoke Cherokee. Somehow, the newcomer from the meeting whom Claudius had taken a strong disliking to knew this language as if he'd been born speaking it. Claudius was shocked beyond comprehension, but committed the single word to his memory: osiyo. It sounded like some sort of greeting, perhaps a 'hello' or a 'good day' in the Cherokee language. Whatever it was, the intruder warrior seemed to like it well enough and launched in to a long speech with words and sounds Claudius could not understand. He had lived in AniWaya for two and a half years, but no one had ever taught him the language of his tribe. He knew some French, but it was rusty and unused since he could no longer practice with his mother, siblings, aunt, or cousins.

All he could feel was shock. How could this wolf know a language he had never learned? How could he learn it so fast? And why couldn't Claudius understand any of it? Claudius knew he had spent months hiding in his den slowly wasting away after his mother and siblings had left, so he had never made an effort to learn it.

As his shock faded, it was replaced by a horrible feeling of sadness. He could not learn anything about these invaders because he could not speak their language. He felt so stupid and so useless that he couldn't help the tears that began to silently fall.
Shiloh's looking for Ayasha. Some drama might happen when she doesn't notice the new guy.

Shiloh had missed being home. She had heard of the new comers from Leon and from the way her cursed and spat at their names she knew deep down the tribe she had found happy go lucky wasn't much of a tribe anymore. There was an air of sadness and she had kept her happy news from the people she had grown to love. She wanted desperatly to tell Ayasha about her mating to Saxif. So when she saw the young wolf she couldn't help but come up behind her and hug her. "Ayasha I have been looking for you my dear friend. I have great news to tell you!" she exclaimed happily before she noticed the dark scary looking male standing in front of of her and Ayasha. She growled at him, startled by his angry demenor and tall threatening body. She hadn't meant to ignore him or insult him in any way but there was something about this new comer that upset Shiloh and made the normally calm wolfess want to lash out and hurt him.

Shiloh wanted her old tribe back and as she glared at him she felt the need to pull Ayasha to her and tell her to run away. Her hackles rose as she felt the mans power flow off him and the tension she felt between J'adore and Ayasha and now her made her almost snarl. Leon had told her not to upset them in fear they might hurt her. She wanted a piece of this man though, for Leon had been hurt by him and she would not stand for her friend getting hurt by an outsider. She was going to back down for now but when she got her arm strength back she would formally challenge him and take him on for what he had done to Leon. "I'll... find you again later Ayasha. I do not like the presence of someone like him," she snarled the last two words and went to leave, hoping the male didn't attack her. There were going to be some new hard ships in AniWaya and Shiloh didn't like it. Didn't like it at all.

Ayasha could tell that the male didn’t like her lack of submission. She normally wouldn’t care but it was a bit early to try and wrest their power from them. So she lowered her ears and tail slightly but not her eyes. She just didn’t stare into his eyes. She could understand what he said but could barely speak it. I am a Tsula agateno. What are we doing exactly? She was curious at to what their job was going to be.

As she spoke however, her ears picked up the approach of someone from behind. As they got closer, she could tell it was Shiloh. It had been awhile since they had talked but now was not the time. Ayasha turned to face Shiloh after being hugged in the back by the scarred female. Hi Shiloh. Can we talk later? She nodded at Shiloh’s words and gave her paw a gentle squeeze as she started to leave. She turned her attention back to the large dark male in front of her.

As she waited for more instructions, she could tell that she was going to have to talk to Leon about what to do. This was something she couldn’t talk to Ralla about. But until they came up with something, she would have to show minimal respect to the new leaders.

I recommend this site, since my favorite dictionary just closed down ;-; AND OH GOSH CLAUDIUS DON'T CRY! D: Also: Wematin's about to get scary.

Wematin was not disappointed as the white-eyed man continued. At the very least he seemed better at submissiveness than some of his counterparts within this tribe--Maska would be pleased to know of this man's obedience, at the very least--but as always, there were those who would prove him wrong. The white female was just one such wolf, although she had yet to make a move or say anything to earn a lesson as the man at the meeting had. "Hiya agatanahi nasginai nihi. Tlano anilasdalv iyudina anagisdi nutloyasdvna Ayastigis. Ayv yelique agowadvdi hiya sawu galulogi, unelaginasginasquu, ale itsula wili uduladi igadv Itses ale yeliquaiyadvnedi nanahi Ayastigis gotlvdi galvladitlv nasginai nasgi." And then, as he had said before, there were yet more who obviously did not observe respect. It was not the greatest thing on Wematin's list of of pet peeves--in fact, nothing really bothered the man except disobedience to orders--and his orders at the moment were to recruit, launch a scouting party, and make sure that everyone knew their new places.

Then this female dared growl at him? His eyes sharpened to narrow slits as he quickly moved forward to stand a mere foot from her; he was a Galonv Adagatiya--a Raven's Guardian--and he was to be respected as such from those lower than he. Most of all he wanted to prevent any transgressions she might dare make against Maska, where Wematin would have to be far less lenient with punishment. He growled deep in his throat as he looked down on the female, hackles raised and tail straight up. It was a mere show of dominance, but he was not afraid to do more if need be. As she started the back off she almost snarled, and so Wematin let out a more powerful one at her as she left, which would--hopefully--teach her a lesson. Next time, though, he would not be half as easy. For now, he was more interested in this Ayastigi who seemed the best way to start his priority, and so he did not really care for the flippant female.

The small white girl finally found her head and presented herself properly, which smoothed the black man's hackles a little. And what luck; she was a Scout, as he had been searching for. He could see by her use of the other language, though, that she was not as fluent as the man, and yet he needed her and those of her rank to get his orders moving along. "Gather all the Tsula Agatenos and Ayastigis together--at least five to a group, get some Itses if need be--and tell them this: We are to meet in two days time at the Great Fire, prepared to scout the outlying territory. If there are not enough Itses to fill the spots, get as many as you can anyway. Understood?" Now this might not have been the entire truth, but these wolves merely follow orders and nothing else. They would know more in two days time, but only as much as they needed. Wematin did not care:

He did not feel; he only followed orders.

Shiloh growled her response to him coming up to her. She looked up at him and curled her lip. Just who did he think he was? She looked up at him, her hackles rising, her green eyes glowing in her anger. She bared fangs at the brute, her tail stiff and slightly curled behind her, her ears forward. She went into a slight crouch if he planed to attack her. She knew she wouldn't be able to take him but she could do some damage.

"Back off. I don't know who you are but you deserve none of my respect. You are cruel as is your master for bringing you here. Your ruining the only other place I can call home and I hope you and your master rot for what you have done to the kind people here. You will never be a friend of mine, she snarled up at him. She shook with her anger and as she was not going to let him dominate her. She only submitted to one wolf and one wolf only and that wolf was her mate. She would stand her ground and was not going to back down without a fight. After all Saxif taught her better then that.

OOC here!

J'adore heart fluttered as he was prised, even slightly, by the guardian. 'Thank you. I shall at least try to recuit someone' the Spaniard said with a confident smile, though nothing too over the top. Was he converting? Was he actually aiding the usurpers? No, he was only going along with it. But couldn't he do that without giving them what they wanted. Perhaps it was easier to just help them. Shurui had already crippled the family and J'adore did not need his family worsened by inter pack problems. Leon was already straining his boudaries.

J'adore couldn't help but wonder why all this preperation was for, but he didn't ask.He didn't want to risk being scolded for forwardness, not after he had been lightly praised. Though he did wish to know why they were scouting outwards.

Shiloh spoke out of tern, both anger an surprising J'adore. The former emotion surprised him in itself. Why was he angery about her rebellig against an usurper? He didn't stop to contemplate this however, the Ayastigi stepped forward, his gaze hard. 'Stand down Gatlvska' he warned softly, though still with a hint of warning in his tone. He didn't want her to end up like Leon. 'Just try to comply, or leave'. He said, his tone turning to a sfot show of request.

Taking Shiloh out

Shiloh was stunned at J'adores actions. Stand down... she whined softly, relaxing only a little. J'adore should have been on her side, should be trying to kick this stranger out. She looked at him with hurt in her green eyes. She looked into his white eyes and saw worry behind them. She snarled one last time before bowing her head to J'adore. " Out of respect to you and Mizu I will leave. I am sorry for the inconvenince J'adore. I hope you get your rank up soon. You deserve it," she said softly before backing away from the darker, meaner wolf. She never turned her back on him, never gave him the satisfaction of her backing down from him. She hadn't wanted conflict while looking for Ayasha but he had pushed her with stepping up to her and growling. She deserved better then that and he would soon learn that. She felt bad that J'adore was putting up with these guys but he needed a rank up to protect Mizu. She had been though so much.

As the fight went on around her, Ayasha gave Shiloh a look that said ‘Go along with them until we figure something out,’ hoping that Shiloh would get her message. She gave Shiloh’s hand a gentle squeeze as she left. She was hurt that her edutsi hadn’t stood up for Shiloh but really did understand why he didn’t. He had Mizu and the pups to worry about.

She nodded at the instructions. She would go along with them until the time was right. She would avenge Dawali and Leon and the masters. She would just have to bid her time. But needed to keep her head down until then. But she would want to know more about their orders but would have to wait until they met again.

And she didn’t like meeting them but knew that it was a necessary evil. She hoped that Leon and Shiloh could keep their heads until the time was right. She brightened slightly. She could use the scouting exercises to get people to join the rebellion. And a rebellion there will be. Her eyes hardened with resolve. She would do whatever was necessary to overthrow these usurpers, even if that meant following their orders for now. But there would be a reckoning.
