A black smudge had been drawn across his old pack’s emblem, for a decent piece of bandana had yet to be acquired. His loyalties hadn’t changed though, for he had never devoted any part of himself to the underground pack. He hadn’t decided if Salsola was worthy of his time, but he knew that there were no specific needs that he wished to fulfil. As long as his contentment remained stable, he would fall into his daily routines until his nature required change. There were certain things he lacked, but he did not lust for illogical things, such as silly birds and their song.

His mother’s second twin sword rested by his hip, for there was danger beyond the well marked borders of the Family. Beneath his skin, above his heart, there was an itch, an echo of the pain of a broken collar bone. But it was completely healed at this time, and while he was too young to be experienced in the art of fighting, he was more prepared. It was too easy to gain enemies amongst the inhabitants of these lands. So Itachi did not stray far from the home he had grown so accustomed to. Not because of fear, but because he had no reason to stray.

Her wanderings had taken her far and wide across the 'Souls lands, she had been down to the Phoenix Valley coast although she understood that pack had merged and moved up north. She had travelled further downwards and spent time with Saluce in the remnants of Dahlia de Mai. From there she had made her way through the Etheral Eclipse and into the slice of coast sandwiched between Cour des Miracles and Crimson Dreams. Kind of trespassing into Crimson Dreams by striding through the water along the coast until she had reached the far side of their pack lands. THen in a great semi circular path to round off the edge, past AniWaya and all the way back up the middle of 'Souls and on around Inferni to the place she now lingered, caught between the mountains and the sea.

The woman was walking alone a shallow stream bed, the tinkling sound of the water calming to her ears. Ever so slightly her pregnant belly bulged out, it could be easily mistaken for for a slightly plump stomach brought on by a good diet. She was focused inwards a lot and so kind of deaf and blind to her environment therefore it was a surprise when she came across another of her kind. Lighter colored with deep crimson eyes, the woman also noted the sword at his side and took a step or two away from him, she had no cause to trust anyone she found, her large coyote ears pricked forwards in interest however,

"Oh hello." Her voice was soft and mellow as she addressed him.

The young mind’s bleeding gaze discovered the other creature several moments before hers found him, and his pace slowly turned into a halt as he watched the pale creature draw closer without taking care to adjust her path to avoid him. There was no change in the Family member’s stance, for such a petite creature was not likely to prove an immediate threat, though Itachi was always wary of underestimating those he was unfortunate to cross paths with. Fingers curled into loose, relaxed fists, and he resisted the light urge to lay a hand against the sword’s gleaming handle. It accompanied him because others would think twice once they saw the mortal weapon attached to his hip. The flawed Lykoi remained unworthy of wielding it, however.

He watched her step away when awareness got its grip on her. But no comforting smile was to settle on these frozen lips of his. But the blue eyed creature did not turn and leave on quick feet against summer grass, and instead breathed a greeting dancing on a feminine voice. Itachi could taste her allegiance with ease; deep rock and merry torches throwing dancing shadows on dark walls. He had scarcely offered the pack a thought after he had walked away along with the other selected individuals that shortly after helped create Salsola, the kingdom of thistles and questionable morale. Taking two steps away to the side, he offered her a great courtesy of giving her space to continue past and stay true to the original direction she had followed until her eyes had found him.

Her polite greeting was not returned and the woman almost frowned from her neutral expression before remembering that he carried with him a sharp and very deadly sword so she let the slight go. She was not willing to risk her life for a simple hello, even she was not that arrogant and self conceited, if this grown but still child to her pup wanted to be rude then she would let him have his rudeness and instead of any kind of angry expression her mouth curved upwards into a slight smile. Although she was far away from it, she was sure she recognised him from Anathema then remembered that just after she joined a group of Anathemans had split away to form their own group, maybe they had settled around here somewhere then? The woman looked around as though hoping to see any evidence of a settlement.

Then all of a sudden his name came to her although she could scarcely remember where she had learned it or who had told her. The thought niggled at her and she resolved to ask Giuseppe when she got back, if he was in. Now the light colored man was moving aside, still without saying anything to her and she took the hint. He didn't want to converse with her this day or perhaps any day. So she nodded to him and carried on past him, a goodbye throw back his way as she walked away,

"Have a good day Itachi Lykoi, I wish you the best in your life." The white kissed woman quickly returned back to the recesses of her own mind, mulling over the recent activities that had occurred within her life and still trying to decide whether or not to let Matteo know he might be a father, a pale hand came to rest on the small almost unnoticeable bump in her stomach.

Itachi had learned that enemies were easier to gather than friends, and had adjusted his overall perspective of his surrounding to include a higher level of self preservation. Nothing should have become of this coincidental meeting, but as her voice breathed his name into the sweet air, he felt his body stiffen just slightly as it reached his hybrid ears. Red eyes tainted by a sunset’s lilac blush lifted to the departing back of the woman. Her attention seemed to have abandoned him already, and he wondered if there would be a day where a stranger would insert a dagger into her back and paint the ivory coat moist and red.

He turned around, though did not step after her. The scene was quiet, and unless she was dimmer than he anticipated, she would hear and heed his words. Perhaps she thought she knew him, but she didn’t, and he did not know her. Either way, Anathema was a closed off chapter. ”It would be wise of you to forget that name.” It was a warning. Itachi could afford to take chances, though he was a careful evil that preferred to remain invisible if possible. He did not value life as common moral demanded, and would not struggle against the choice of ending her if he thought it could be to his advantage.
