You make me want to cry

Things were never going her way anymore and she still felt sick to her guts, even though she had vomited several times already. The sight of the bloody mass of flesh, fur and bones had made the world circle and filled her with a nausea she had never experienced. First Mew, then Haku, now this unbelievable tragedy. She had seen friends die before, but she had never seen wolves slaughtered like this. It was Inferni, she was sure. The scent was fading as she had found death near the borders. Was it impossible to build up a life without tragedy and sins drowning her? She just wanted new chances, but she was not allowed, everything went against her. She could not handle it. She had burst out in front of her co-alphess as she told Haku to leave, revealing her weaknesses. It was true, she was weak.

Colibri was on the north east edge of Arachnea’s Revenge. She had planned to make the trip to Inferni, but the walk had been long and thoughts had come and gone through her head numerous times. She was scared to death. Such slaying, what would keep them from slicing her up if she approached their lands? She was still shivering and wanted to continue vomiting forever until the world exploded and ceased to exist. It was so twisted, so gruesome. She had NEVER seen anything like it, and for no reason whatsoever. The two males had said they were random travelers, but that they now had wanted to settle down within the Dahlia de Mai pack lands. Colibri had been so content, welcoming the new males and imagined a larger and better working group.

Haku’s words had hit her the right places. They were weak, and this tragedy could be merely the beginning of a great slaughter of canines. Who would do such a thing without reason? Colibri’s feet paused, she could not find the strength to get closer to the Inferni Clan grounds. What did she expect to get through anyway? This was another world, and this was the wrong individual in a leader position. The breeze whispered so sweetly of change and freedom. It was calling for her once again.

Faolin doesn't not really know the smell of the pack that killed the two wolves in their lands, so that will make for easier conversation I would believe. Big Grin Thanks for starting! <3

Her dreams had been coming back again, nightmares more like it. It had been a long time, but why now? Then those killings on their territory, she felt sick thinking about it. She could not hold the meal she had ate hours prior seeing those two bodies. A mother and her pup, only came earlier that day and Faolin had to run off to find a place to vomit. It could have been her and Ezekiel or Talitha, who the hell would do this? They did not even have the scent of Inferni on them yet. Wrong place at the wrong time? No, that could not be it, they were basically on Inferni borders. It did not make sense, nothing made sense. She thought it could have been her father coming back, but the scents on the bodies said otherwise and Gabriel told her it had been otherwise.

The girl still felt sick to her stomach thinking about it. Giving her head a shake she could not help but have the images stuck in her mind. There was nothing she could do to rid them and she had half stumbled out of the safe borders of Inferni. But, she needed to get away, get out before something horrible happened again. Inferni was a threat to the neighbouring wolf packs, but they were way stronger than any of them. This was the first time she really had been across the borders and she hardly noticed her passing, only kept walking. Her children kept her grounded to Inferni, she barely went as far as the borders sometimes, but what kind of leader would she be if she just drifted around? No, she did work and border duty was one of them.

The Praetorian had caught the scent of wolf, in an utter state of confusion the coyote stood there stalk still until white fur flashed in the corner of her eye. Her head bolted around to catch a female much in the same state as she was in. Faolin had been on edge since the attack and she felt sick to her stomach. Could this be one of them? It was horrible not being able to know what the other pack's scents were, but there was no reason she had to be nice. Just in case this femme was one of them. Crimson eyes sparked with anger, but she stayed relaxing approaching the female.

"What are you doing so close to Inferni, wolf?" she almost spat, but retained her sharp tongue slightly. They needed to be on their defenses. Could not show a sign of weakness. Her hackles were slightly raised, but her tone was more questioning then threatening. She watched for any sign that she might turn and attack or maybe stumbled near here and got lost. Highly doubtful. Her tail raised slightly over her back as she waited for a response.

Crap, wrong account.

As a coyote came into sight, the female froze completely, not knowing if it was fear or anger than rose within her body. Adrenaline was there, for sure. Inferni, their clan name fitted so very well. Colibri halfway flattened her ears, letting her eyes lock on the female, every movement, everything. Her fur raised slightly and lips lifted slightly, halfway revealing the sharp daggers that usually were hidden behind, meant to rip and tear meat. She did not want things to end like that, she just wanted peace and love and all that the word ’flower power’ held. The world was cruel, she did not belong here, did not want to belong, she wanted to go away, fly away. Still, she did not wish it enough to freely drop dead. Not yet.

”Do you know how it is to approach the remaining pile of flesh of something that once have been a member of your group, coyote?” Her voice shivered, yet, it was also anger behind it. The white female did in fact not know what to say, she could not express her feelings, her disgust, her failure as a leader. She was so confused, she just knew that death had knocked on Dahlia’s door, and blown open the door, ripping the beings in the hallway apart. Stomach acid leaked into her mouth again, and she kept her mouth closed firmly, swallowing, trying to keep the illness within her entire body in chess.

Sorry for the slight wait!

Confusion? What was this? Weren't all wolves bad? No, there was a point where Faolin had no prejudice against any wolf, but now she did not trust any of them. Months of having bad run ins with the ones she did not know was bad enough to send anybody over the edge. The hybrid woman watched the alabaster fae in slight interest amusement following her question glare. Faolin smiled, and gave her head a shake. This was not how it was supposed to be, they should be friends, but wolves had made it so hard for her own clan to live that it was impossible to do anything but be on guard constantly. Red eyes draped across the femme, she did not seem all that frightening anyway. Faolin relaxed and gave her coat a shake.

"It's hard to approach anything without fear anymore. Innocent stragglers come and join our small clan, and we promise them protection and not even within a couple hours they're scattered all around Inferni's borders. It's a sad day for the both of us miss," she said, shrugging. Faolin was far enough away from the femme that if she did try and attack her out of stupidity that Faolin could probably still come around with a roundhouse kick that would set her jaw half way across her face. Even in her quad form she could move easily and have the strength in her back legs to break through this wolf's face.

"I have wolf blood running through my veins, I've tried with your kind and what do I get? Nothing. I give up, that naiveté is gone. My friend's I have left that are wolves are slim and few, the rest have up and moved, hating this stupid war between us," Faol growled and gave her head a shake. It was pathetic, but she felt like she was not getting anywhere at the moment. Perhaps this femme felt the same, perhaps not. It was hard. Faolin had not left the confines of her new lands in ages and it felt good to be out and away from the border's. Faolin loved Inferni though, loved Gabriel. Inferni had changed a lot since she was younger, but she would follow her mate all the way through. If he wanted to leave, she would follow him. Nothing would change that. The wolves were getting vicious though and her guard was constantly up. She guessed there was not a safe place on the whole god damned earth where the prejudice did not remain.

One upon a time Colibri had been against the wolves that cursed the coyotes. Once upon a time she had believed it simply was one or two individuals from the clan that mainly had dragged down the coyote clan's reputation. This belief had been challenged and proved wrong so many times that she had given up. After what had met her at the borders beneath Virgin Mary, she had given up. She lacked the will of action. Dahlia was a small pack, and Inferni was probably larger, but information had not been gathered, merely a solid guess that dreadfully fit the truth. The red eyed dirt smiled at the white female, and Colibri's eyes twinkled coldly back.

The female's words did not make any sense. If there was anything the light fae was sure of, it was the fact that no coyotes were 'innocent' so to speak. Mew had been at their borders, and Colibri knew the clan had every right to defend their lands, but Mew had been no threat, only a treat to a sick and twisted canine mind. Even though Colibri was mostly upset, rage flamed up in her bones. Such disrespect and lies. At least she had expected them to be decent and honest enough to admit to their sins, but instead she got a twisted version that held no roots to the actual truth.

Colibri could not help but spit at the ground before looking up at the other female again. " Fuck off with your failed little fairytale story. I have never understood Inferni's constant terror of the wolf packs. It happened in the past, and it has happened now." Heated feelings shone clearly through her words. She had not even been this upset when she had met Haku again. "Why did you come to our lands and slay our members, filthy creature?" It was not common for Colibri to throw out names, but it had escaped her lips before she could withdraw them.
