Like all creatures with enough sense to pay attention to their base instincts Keese had been well aware of the encroaching storm long before its fury rumbled in the distance. The scent of the coastal storm was heavy in the air even though its clouds had yet to darken on the horizon. There was plenty of time yet for him to seek out shelter, though he had found no place within the pack lands of his own. The court was not home; it would never be home to the silver male and so he saw no need in settling in. He had however, found himself a little place beyond the packs borders. It too, was no home to the man, but a place of preparation and retreat. A base of operations, one might say. Though this was all irrelevant for the moment as the silver male headed deep into the heart of the pack lands.

Keese saw the coming storm as an opportunity. A chance to once again attempt to handle matters with Anann somewhat civilly. He was not deterred when he arrived at the luperci built cabin to find that she was not home. As he had the first time he had attempted to approach the woman he would simply wait from a distance, confident that she would be home before the storm. He hoped once the rains started they would be fierce enough to keep her within the cabin walls so that he might try one last time to reason with the woman. Force was not an option he had wanted to resort to, but he had made the preparations if it were to become necessary in the end.

The sky grew dark as the storm swept ashore. The clouds releasing their heavy load to drench the earth below. Soaked and cold and the silver male had waited until the rains became so dense he could no longer make out the door of the cabin through the gray haze. Anann had yet to return home and giving up on the idea that she might yet return Keese took shelter in the cabin. Intent on waiting for her return, however long it may take.

The rains continued well through the night and while at first Keese had shown respect for Anann and her possessions in the privacy of her home. But as the hours stretched on and with nothing else to bide his time with he began snooping and rummaging through her things. There was little of interest forth silvered male. Most of what Anann owned were tools of varying use and bundles of the smoke treated leather. He knew he had found her more personal bag when he found the whiskey bottles. He smirked and and began emptying out the back. There wasn't much that surprised him, not until he stumbled across the soft silk fabric of the one dress his golden Queen had bothered to bring with her that he found her stash of more personal items. It's dark violet hue was a beautiful contrast with the lighter colors of her pelt. A true smile spread on his lips as he recalled when he had last seen it grace her form. It was a shame really, that Anann held such a disdain for clothing. Especially when they flattered her form so elegantly.

Carefully he set the dress aside. Smoothing the delicate fabric as he laid it down before continuing to rifle through the woman's precious possessions. There were a few books, which were set aside with little interest and as he reached once more into the duffel bag he heard something hit the dirt floor. Picking up the small leather bag, ivory fingers opened its draw string mouth and dumped the contents into his palm. Confusion knitted his brow as he looked at the silver trinket and chain that lay in his hand. Fingers looped through the chain, lifting it from his hand for inspection. It was fine piece what with its few gems and lack of varnish. But it did not settle well with the would be prince. It was not like Anann, for she had never been one for things of gold or silver and precious gems. Of which she had plenty of in Tosawi and every piece the man had given her had been left behind. Abandoned. So why did she keep this one trinket tucked away with all other things deemed personal to the woman? He lifted it to his nose, giving it a sniff. It smelt mostly of the leather, but there was still the faint scent of the woman on it and the vague traces of another. Perhaps it was only his imagination, but hot anger boiled in his chest as he slipped it back in its pouch and began to carefully return all things to their proper place. Though the little brown pouch and its silvery contents remained left out on the table. He would confront her about this and the scent he swore still lingered upon it. The aggravation and insult were enough to lift the stiff guard hairs along his spine.

As the rains continued there was nothing he could do for now but sit and wait. Thoughts of Anann's betrayal teased at his mind, invigorating his anger. Laying down on her bed he closed his eyes and attempted to close his mind to such thoughts. He would wait and see what she had to say for herself in the morning.

The silver lupine did not sleep much, if at all. The rains had stopped and the skies cleared long before she finally appeared. Casually walking through the doorway of her home, though she stiffened at the scent that greeted her. It hit her like a kick in the gut and sent her still slightly damp hackles to a stand and her tail to rise. Her fur was damp not from the rains, but from a bath she had taken after leaving the Russian's home in hopes to knock down his scent that had been left on her fur. "What are you doing here? Get out! Haven't you learned your not welcome here?" Anann growled as she faced the male sitting on her bed, before looking around her home for anything out of place. A few things seemed shuffled and she had yet to noticed his hand clenched around something.

Keese rose from the bed as she entered, ignoring questions and the order to get out. He closed the distance between them without any words. Grabbing hold of the stunned woman's hand he shoved the small pouch from his hand to her. His lips set in a firm line. "What's this?" He demanded, his tone was low and there was a dangerous edge to it that caused the golden fem to take a step back as looked down at the object placed in her hand. Knowing its contents without the need to open the little pouch. She tried to act as if it meant nothing, though her hand clutched tightly, protectively around it as his questions continued. "Where were you last night? I was worried." He tone lightened slightly and it was true he had worried. Umber eyes narrowed as they studied the silver male. Fighting back the fear that threatened to grow in her chest as she worried he already knew all the answers to his questions. "Got caught in the storm is all." She responded with a guarded tone. "You should know you needn't worry about me." She moved past him, setting the pouch that held the necklace Anatoliy had given her down on the worn table as she passed. "What do you want, Keese?" She was tired of these games. Tired of going round and round in circles.

"You know what I want. That's not going to change Anann, no matter how you try and keep me at arms length." He words were no longer demanding, but more pleading than they had ever been in the past. He slowly moved forward trying to place a lick of affection on her cheek. His ears folded back submissively and he had to make no effort in keeping his head lower than hers. Though the charade was shattered as his nose caught the scent that lingered about her. It was faint and watered down, but it was there. This time he was sure.

Instantly the man changed, lips pulling back in a snarl as a deep growl resonated in his throat. His grip on her arm tightened, nails digging into the flesh of her arm as his other hand sought grasp her. "You were with him! You would disgrace me thus?" Rage burned brightly in those yellow eyes as one hand released her, pulling back to strike at her. Anann's hand once free reached across herself to the dagger always present on her left thigh, a fear lighting her own eyes.

The actions of the female were not lost on the rage filled Keese and he shoved her hard against the wall, stunning the woman. Quickly he grabbed at the first object he could find, one of her wooden training blades, and swung it at the woman as she lunged at him. The flat of the wooden blade smacking first into the golden hand that held the dagger, shattering its obsidian blade before striking her upside the head. Anann sunk to the floor, her ear ringing from the blow. "This is the last time you will betray me, bitch! Now you will know your place, I'll be sure of that." He growled as he swung at her again.

Anann slumped, unconscious on the floor as Keese stood over her, his chest heaving as he panted. There was shock on his face. Shock at his own actions and easily she had been over come. Though the man was quick to collect himself. That sickening, cocky smirk spreading over his lips as chuckled rather coldly. He let the wooden blade fall to the ground. Ivory hands moving to undo the button of his trousers.
