Saxif was sitting at the edge of a stream. She knew she was near one of the pack lands, she recognized the scent of the lands but that was far from her mind. She had been deep in thought of the events earlier that day. She engaged her first fight and had lost. She watched as the blood still flowed from the bit marks on her muzzle. Dripping into her reflection tainting the image, she was glad for a new scar one with a great story behind it. Though it didn’t give her much leeway in how her tale came across to her mate. She didn’t like keeping things from her but in this case she needed. She was going against everything that was asked of her and was still hunting for the predator that harmed the girl. Saxif had planned that this fight would not be the last, there was still many parts of the land left to explore. She needed help though, her fighting skills were far too raw and she figured the one she sought would be ruthless and skilled. She sighed heavily and swiped her hand across her reflection. This plan she had was flawed and her actions had been too swift she finally realized.

She stood at the sudden caw of a bird, she searched for the source and seen what seemed to be a pale crow. She furrowed her brows slightly confused. She stood there slightly dumbfounded with her claws stuck in a defensive readiness. Her body was tense, so the sight that would have come off to the approaching wolf would have seemed hostile. That is until he came into view. She instantly relaxed but had no desire to smile for the familiar dark-haired male. Fancy meeting you here. Of course she was near Anathema, that was the scent she had been familiar with when she first sat by the stream. She sat again just then a troubled look upon her maw.

WC: 250 - Short, sorry

Weaving his way through the somewhat harsh terrain that occupied most of Anathema’s territory he made his way down to the borders, yawning every now and then and rubbing his eyes lazily in an attempt to wake himself up some. It was not long before he encountered another “There’s no fancy about it” juts me and my rotten luck, he moaned aloud and internally in response to the female’s words. Taking his time he moved up to where she was and then paused to look upon the golden toned female. Instantly he could see that something was different about her, even when his memory of the female was vague and their first encounter short, there was definitely something different. When Beyaz had dragged him from his bed to the borders he had assumed that it was something important, that or the pest had decided to make a game of waking him up and directing him all over the place. What he hadn’t expected was to encounter someone familiar… familiar but her name escaped him, as if it was at the tip of his tongue but his mind refused to recall it.

Furrowing his eyebrows he looked upon the female and began to really concentrate in an attempt to recall her name, but all his efforts failed and so he gave up trying. “What brings you all the way out here” he inquired conversationally, but partly out of sheer protectiveness of his pack of which the female was incredibly close to.

Saxif smiled quickly remembering just how Alaki had been the first time they met. She held an odd respect for his bold nature. A foolish idea that has gained me a new scar. She answered his question kind of cryptically embarrassed to go into details. She knelt by the water and commenced to wash her wounds. The bite mark on her muzzle was quite apparent. Her rage as of late caught the best of her decision-making. She looked over to Alaki. Seems like you haven’t had much luck yourself.

Her large horse with fur the color as her own with blue eyes stood in the distance. He snorted and stomped at the presence of a stranger. His tether was pulled tight.

Settle Jager! Sorry he’s a bit of a pest at times. Her horse kind of reminded her of Alaki now that she had thought of it. A bit of a brute and testy; a smile crossed her maw at the thought but she was quick to divert her thoughts.

She looked to the bird nearby. Interesting creature. Sorry for setting him off this was the deepest point of the stream. She had a long ride home so clean wounds were important. She also didn’t want to waste time searching for a larger wash area. She stood again feeling her wound was cared for enough. She looked to Alaki again waiting to see if he would send her off. She oddly had been hoping for the chance to meet him again. Something about his nature had her intrigued.
