WC → +300 :: For Chapel! Please tell me if I need anything changed, deary. <3

It seemed that Inferni had grown in the last week, or had become more active. She heard more footsteps than usual in the hallway where her claimed room resided in, and the scents of new people as well. What she had found most interesting was the fact that she heard scuffling often in the next-door room. At first, she dismissed it as one of the clan mates scouring the room for what it had left in it, or just simply exploring. But, it soon became evident that one of the newer members had claimed it, and Selena was soon curious as to whom the canine could be. She had yet to come across the said person, but she knew that it was there, and it would not be long until the two would meet, whether by accident or by one seeking the other, since living so close to each other promised that.

After her morning watering of the plants, she went back into the mansion, something she usually did not do, feeling as if she should not waste a day indoors. But, the thought of the new “neighbor” had been tugging at the pale hybrid’s mind, and she finally bent down to her curiosity, her feet leading her up to east hallway on the second floor. She at first reached for her own door, but quickly remembered exactly why she came back upstairs, and drew her hand back, and stared at the door right of her’s. She did not know if the occupant had left or not, but she decided that it would not hurt to try and see if the canine was. With a gentle rap of a clenched fist, she softly knocked on the entrance, her long ears now keen to catch any sounds coming from behind the door.

[She's in optime form now]

After her so called adventure with Sage Lykoi, Chapel felt tired and weary. She applied and got assigned a room, went up two flights of creaking, old stairs, found her room, opened the door, and promptly collapsed onto her bed and fell into a dreamless sleep. When golden eyes opened once more, she sat up, her slim back resting on the hard backboard of the bed, and inspected her odd surroundings. They were nothing special, only a bare wooden room and a small side table, along with a window that faced the door. Everything was also covered in dust. Chapel gave a few short sneezes that rocked her tiny form, and then stood up and tip-toed over to the window. She glanced longfully for the outside world; this room was so horrid, and she was too lazy to clean it herself. Could she somehow gain currency and then pay a maid to do it themselves? Only problem was, she had nothing. Her parents had told her that she would gain more trust in starting from scratch.

The female coyote's fingertips drummed quietly on the old windowsill as she thought to herself. Then, as if making up her mind, she tried to pry the window open. It took a little tugging, for it probably hadn't been opened in years, but finally a slight breeze and some fresh air was able to fill the room. Chapel breathed in deeply and sighed. She supposed it was time for some more drastic cleaning. Before looking for some supplies, however, she decided to move her bed against the wall with the window so she could view the outside every morning she woke up, and after whatever naps she took. Mine as well make the best of it, she supposed, mumbling softly to herself. The luperci then sat upon the hard mattress once again, and pondered, wondering what she should do next. Wasn't the next step to ask questions?

The female has a mind to go get some supplies right now, but that could wait. The mission always comes first. Suddenly there was a small knock on the door. Chapel stared at the doorknob, confused. She had neighbors? Or had she been making too much noise when she moved the bed? It had squeaked across the floor as she had moved it, but it wasn't THAT loud. So who could this be?

If it was a visitor, was it more polite to go open the door, or could she just say "come in"? It isn't as if I'm doing anything important... she thought to herself. Chapel stood up from the bed, crossed the room in two strides, and then slowly opened the door inwards, curiously waiting to see who was standing on the other side.
