AniWayans only, please.

The influx of Guardians had been a concerning feature on the face of AniWaya as Chitsa's days went on. Many continued to come, to stay within the Town Hall where she was forced to see their numbers. She wanted to believe that Maska knew what was best. She wanted to believe that there was nothing wrong. The numbers, however, did not lie. They almost outnumbered the tribesmen entirely, but perhaps it was for the best. War might not have affected the small off-shoot, but it was affecting the Great Tribe and it was so possible that it would affect this place as well, and so Maska's preparation was...warranted, wasn't it? That was the real question as she exited the Town Hall home she'd been using in order to tend to the Fire.

Into the outlying regions she went in search of wood for the Great Fire, song escaping her lungs as she tried to distract her mind from all the bad that could be happening under her nose. There was no reason not to trust Maska. He was a Councilman, he knew what was best for the Tribe. The others simply did not understand. They didn't come from where she did, but they would learn in time that one did not cross the path of the Kalona without retribution.
