Rain had decided that it was time to leave AniWaya. His constant nightmares and pain from what he had done to Shiloh plagued him. He had already told Maska her was to leave AniWaya. It was time he became a loner again. He was going to ask for a horse but knew he and Anke would get along just fine without one. His mink kit had grown so much and he wondered if she would leave him like Amelia had. She had proven to be loyal to him and he enjoyed knowing that he had something to protect. He had come to AniWaya with nothing more then a sleeping roll, a few pots and cups and now as he left he left with nightmares and pain in his heart.

He had been able to keep a dagger he used to train with and his own his father had let him have. He had packed his things the night before and after talking to J'adore he had seeked out the blonde womans hut only to find it empty dried blood still on the hammock that had once held the injured woman. He could still see the struggle Saxif had put up when he dragged her out and away from Shiloh. Shiloh's blood was still on the ground as she tried to stop him and Thel. She had been coughing up blood and bleeding so hard from Thel's lashing that she had passed out as she hobbled after them. Saxif had screamed in out rage and fought against her bonds for someone to help her mate, to make sure she was alive and ok. It had been Rain that had checked the woman and rendered her alive but only just. He had gone out and found the medic from before and had her tend to Shiloh as Saxif was taken to trial for both of them.

He still remembered Saxif pleading for her mates life to be spared and that she take all the punishment for what had happened. He could still see her anger dark in her golden eyes as she was beaten. He had followed her as she and the dark furred medic tended to Shiloh's wounds though most the day after the trial. Then they had disappeared. He had followed what was left of their scent to the stables and then between the blood that was already there and the horses he lost their scent. He was bent on finding them, apologizing to them but as he gathered his things as started for the boarders he was able to pick up their scent again.

He tucked Anke close and head off into the distance, never looking back at the monster he had become in AniWaya but decided to find a reason to better himself and find someone to love and protect like Saxif and J'adore did. He knew his father was a lost cause and after praying for help to find the two women he stopped by a tree and buried his fathers dagger, one of the last things he had to remember his family by. He would change and find meaning else where. AniWaya would forever hold his violence against him and his nightmares were his way of remembering just how cruel a person can turn. "I am sorry... he said as followed Shiloh's blood trail.
