Iskata had been sitting up on a slab of limestone grooming her chest ruff as she collected the sun's rays in her pelt, atleast it seemed thatway, the glitter of her fur reflecting that from the sun. She was soaking up the heat from the stones as she sat there with her eyes half closed relaxing for a moment. She rarely took time to herself anymore and she thought that just right now that was what she needed. Stretching her legs out she opened her jaws wide as she yawned, keeping track of her family was a full time job. She just hoped that the time she spent roaming the forest keeping track on everyone and watching out for Haku wasn't keeping her away from her duties to her pack.

She hadn't seen Fatin in a while so she believed that she was ok. Infact, she hadn't really seen anymore in a while except her daughter. Tilting her head to the side she flicked her ears back and forth listening for the sound of anyone or anything in the area. The forest seemed so quiet today she was wondering where the world was, but she didn't worry too much as she flopped on her side to catch a few more rays.

Between his duties with the border and his lessons with Ember, Tristan had to make time for himself. He had set up his den, including a remarkably detailed carving on the tree, and this was where he spent most of his alone time. Of course, this was few and far between. Today he was back on duty, trotting along the forest trails at an easy lope. Every so often he would pause to mark the border, or inspect an interesting piece of brush. An unfamiliar scent made him lift his head, sniffing until he pinpointed the area it led to.

Not long after, the burly male had come across a silver-gold woman laying on a rock. Advancing, he spoke quietly. “You new here?”

When the sound of a voice floated to her on the breeze Iskata opened one eye slowly and smiled at the newcomer, though after a moment she realized infact that she was the newcomer. Flicking her tail across her hindleg in an attempt to get rid of a buzzing fly that had been hellbent on ruining her morning she nodded towards the crimson hued male that was approaching her. "Yes, Fatin invited me to stay not too long ago." She realized a moment too late that she was being rather rude just lounging about, gathering her paws benieth her she sat up and shook her pelt out.

"I'm Iskata Sadira, Ember's mother." She smiled sweetly at the male, wondering just who he was, Fatin had mentioned that there were a few other packmembers but Iskata had yet to meet them, besides Ember of course. She wrapped her tail around her forepaws as she sat before him, feeling like she was a soldier under inspection from the captain. She didn't know exactly who he was but she figured he was someone important..
